Hi,
Prior to deleting a workflow first Delete/Cancel all the workitems of that workflow. It will help you to avoid unnecessary dump while executing those workitems. Its better to cancel the workitems if it is a productive system.
To delete workflow delete the following items in below mentioned order.
1. Workflow
2. Tasks
3. BO/Classes

Who deleted the WorkItem?

How can one find out who deleted the Workitem or which table would have that detail?

You will definately find the agent who deleted the work item (or workflow) from the workflow log. You should be able to change the personal workflow settings to "technical mode". Both the work item and workflow display. If you are able to check the workflow log in the technical mode, you can check each and every work item of the workflow, and see the action performed for them. Normally you should be at least find the user who logically deleted the workflow from the first (="header")work item of the workflow.

what happens after deletion of workitem.
does it automatically restart the workflow of it only change the status of workitem to cancelled.???
if it automatically restart the workflow how can we stop it.?????

If you delete the workitem manually no workflow will be triggered automatically.

Delete the Workitem Automatically

Hi Experts,
In R/3 ,When a PO is released ( Approved ) , that workitem will goes to the Initiators and low level approvers UWL.
To delete that workitem Now the user opens that mail and deletes that manually.
The problem is ,that workitem will be delete automatically after 2 days
Please give me a solution for this.

Deleting Workflows in Access Enforcer

Hi,
I am trying to delete 'Paths' in AE and receive the below error.
<b> Error deleting Workflow Path. There are about 20 requests tied to this path.</b>
This is in the sandbox and the processing of requests does not really matter.
The 20 requests were for New Account creation, because of errors in Auto Provisioning the requests were not processed through the entire path, and were set to CANCEL status via the administartion function.
Despite setting to CANCEL I am unable to delete the path. Do we have a procedure/step to be able to delete a path in AE?

Delete workflow from repository

Hi, Actually i renamed some worflow and its child as well and want to move from dev repository to production repository.but if I move these it will create new copy of workflow with renamed name.So now I want to delete the old copy of work flow from the repository which is of no use. But as the old copy of workflow contains Some reusable cmd task. Which are being used in some other work flow.Let me know if I delete old copy of workflow from repository will I loss those reusable cmd task as well? Hi All, I have a scenario to implement.Need urgent help. I have relational source which has below fields. ID,Account,AccountType,Balance1,1001,GL,46567.901,1002,SL,56889.971,1003,Equity,45543.9081,1004,GL,89.541,1005,SL,-56889.971,1006,Equity,-45543.9081,1007,SL,-42777.45 Here my first requiremnt is to check if the balance value for entire file is 0 and if balance amount for each AccoutType is 0 , if both condtionn satifies the flow will go , else load will fail. I tried in below approach. SQ >> Expression >> Aggregator In aggregaor i have first calculated sum(balance) for entire file by group by on ID column in an aggregator , and keep actual data in expression transformation. Then i took an expression to connect actual data with the sum(balance) , since i need to perform further calculation.I tried connecting expression and aggregator , but it is not allowing me to connect the posrts. And if i am using a joiner , then wrong data is loading to target. It is joining each result of aggregator with actual ports in expression. I am not sure how to handle this scenario, so that we can just calculate sum of entire file and sum on basis of account type , is both sum are 0 then load the target , else fail.

Delete automatically Workitem from the INBOX

Is it possible to remove or delete workitem from the inbox of the remaining agents, when the workitem is sent to multiple agents at a time, and one of the agent completes the workitem ?
Can anyone help me for this problem ?

But, what I want is different.
My case is like...
A particular workitem will be sent to multiple users at a time, for approval from one of them. Once, one of them completes the execution of the workitem, then it should clear/delete the workitem from other users' inboxes.

How to receive/execute workflow workitems in MS outlook

Hi,
I was told that it is possible to receive/execute workflow workitems in MS outlook or other supported mail clients (not SAP INBOX). I have tried to research (SDN, OSS) and so far just found documentations to set up workflow notification to MS outlook. Nothing about receive/execute workflow workitems. I'd like to be able to set this up without buying a third-party vendor product. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some guidance on where to find some helpful documentations or some brief description how to configure this.

I've heard it could be possible with the SOAP adapter. I never used it but I found these links in SAP Help:

This should allow you to approve without direct access to SAP.
If you want to execute with direct access to SAP you can use program RSWUWFML2 which allows you to send mails with executable attachments. But the user needs sapgui installed on his pc, and be able to reach the SAP system.

Does deleting Workflow also Delete Task List Items

I have Sharepoint 2010 and I am using the standard workflow.
I have created a new workflow and want to delete the previous workflow to avoid use.
If I remove the previous workflow, what happens to the items in the Task List associated with the workflow? Do they remain undisturbed or are they also deleted.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to know the action of the items in the Task List associated with the deleted workflow.
In my environment, I create a task workflow using SharePoint Designer and then start the workflow in two items. No matter whether I approve the tasks or not,
If I delete the workflow through UI: Click the Ribbon->List->Workflow Settings->Remove a workflow, the two tasks will be disappeared in the task list. However, the workflow will be remian in the SharePoint Designer.
If I republish the workflow in the SharePoint Designer, the workflow will be associated to the list again.
If I delete the workflow through the SharePoint Designer, the two tasks will be also disappeared in the task list. And the workflow will be removed in the Workflow Settings.

Workflow Workitem approval from Handled Device.

Hello,
In SAP users will use handled device to approve SAP Workflow Workitems. Below are my questions.
1. Is this possible with SAP Technology or we have to make use of some other application out of SAP.
2. Is there any specific setting or configuration in SAP to enable users to approve workflow from Handled Device.
3. Can link to SAP workitem be send in mail to handled device and workitems can be opened from handled device.
Any links or PDFs related to Handled Workflow Development / COnfiguration is much appriciated.

Hi,
You will not be able to execute SAP work items in Blackberry or Iphone because of their technological restrictions. You have to develop BSP application and certain necessary customizing, SWNCONFIG, SCOT etc, have to be done.

Is there any transaction to "Undelete" workitems/workflows which have been inadvertently deleted using transaction SWWL. We are on MySAP ERP 2004.

Hi Srinivas,
SWUE will not start from the point of logically deleted. It just create the event for the object u have used.
For restarting the workflow SWPR is the transaction.
If you want to see the history of workitem deleted you use the transaction SWWH.

Automatic deletion of workitem once the action is done.

Hi Team.
I have a small concern in Workflow,When the employee submits the Expense to admin for approval,the Admin has got 3 options
1.Approve
2.Review/Change
3.Reject.
When he selects the Approve or Review/Change and approves the Workitem its getting deleted from his Inbox.
But When he rejects the Expense with some comments its not getting deleted.
Could you please give some idea where exactly to check for workitem to get deleted.

if you want to set the workitem status from ready to complete then use the FM
SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE
for this function module what you need to pass is Workitem ID and you can get it from SWWWIHEAD table
or if you want to delete them
SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_DELETE

Delete workflow item when finished

Hi!
I have a process code triggering WF92100011.
In this WF I have a task TS92100010 that is running IDOCORDERS.INPUTFOREGROUND.
In this task TS92100010 I have two terminating events:
IDOCORDERS.INPUTFINISHED
IDOCORDERS.INPUTERROROCCURRED
Therefore out of the TS..10 there are two Outcomes. One is "Workflow finished" and the other is TS92100008 that should pick up the workitem and move it to another "folder" in the inbox; "Order change - Errors".
(Question 1:)
But this is not happening. Why?
If I look at the workitem in the inbox I can see the error status or the success status. If an order was created I can click the "End process" button. If it was an error I can reprocess the task.
BUT. (Question 2)
I can't delete any of the workitems.
Why?
I'm not a workflow expert but have been sitting with this for a few days now and it's driving me nuts.
So any help is more than appreciated.

Ok.
In this case they have been "Actioned" I think!
Because I process the first step = IDOCORDCHG.INPUTFOREGROUND ... but the problem is that after processing neither the task is deleted nor the task is moved to the error folder.
Anyone have another solution? Or am I not understanding the problem?
