Deleted Alternative Apple ID
I Have an alternative Apple ID. I never wanted it. It is an "@me"
The problem is, I was receiving so much spam to that address, everything goes to "spam"
Unfortunately, with my new laptop, my email alerts are being sent to "@me" - I do not know why.
The simplest thing would be to delete the alternative Apple ID.
Is that possible?
For the event in your Calendar go to Alert that send the mail and either delete it or change the email address. To change the email address you have to change the the Contact card wit your data

I deleted all Apple apps when I got the computer and installed Microsoft windows for Macs and Firefox. Most recently, the Firefox browser keeps crashing so I'm thinking of reinstalling all of the mac applications and programs, but not sure how to do it. There is only one way to do that: reinstall OS X. Try this:
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Mountain Lion or Mavericks
OS X Mavericks- Reinstall OS X
OS X Mountain Lion- Reinstall OS X
OS X Lion- Reinstall Mac OS X
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless. -
How to deactivate the alternative Apple-ID?

I just wonder if there is a way to deactivate or better delete the alternative Apple-ID.
But somehow I think that the 2. thing is not possible. I can change my Apple-ID or can add/delete iCloud email alias address, but I am not able to delete the alternative Apple-ID. IF there is a way to do so, but I just don't know it, then please let me know.
Apart from that: If it's not possible, is there a way to deactivate this alternative apple-ID for the email-service itself? I just used this email-address for quite a time and now I ended up with getting loads of spam to this address...of course i just can add other email alias to it, but then i still receive all that stuff to my alternative apple-id.
So if you have an idea to my stuff, please let me know.

CheersYes, I already had this idea myself. Of course I could set up a rule to let the mails I get to that alternative apple ID, which is yes, an iCloud/me one, move automatically to a certain folder or trash. But some people have that address and I don't want them anymore to have a chance to email to me...so that's why Id like to delete OR just deactivate it for email receiving.
But yea, I thought that there might be no way to get this how I want it. Maybe an idea would be to get back on apple with this issue. Because let's say you are a huge business costumer to apple and really need to have this address at least deactivated for emails, I'm sure apple would help you out then...but on me, they probably don't give a sh** what I want.

I had to change my email for my apple acct on my iPhone e 4. When I go add an app or update an app the old apple email comes up. I can't delete an apple store app. So how do I refresh the apple store app?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

Trying to delete the Apple Folder from Program Files/Common Files. I can delete all the contents except for the Internet Services folder which prevents me from making the deletion. The error message says "you need permission to delete this file".

How to reset your Apple ID password.
Go to iforgot.apple.com and type in your Apple ID, then click 'Next'.

I used my apple Id and my iCloud account on my mom's iPhone and all my contacts and stuff went to her phone and hers on mine. I tried to delete my apple id off of her phone now how do I delete the iCloud? And will the data from my phone be deleted too if I delete my iCloud off of her phone?

Well, yeah. You want to create separate accounts for each of you, using individual Apple IDs. I know mothers and daughters like to share clothes, shoes, handbags, etc. but don't share Apple IDs. -

In order to edit an Child Apple Id you can just go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and log as your daughter and edit all data (except id itself and birthdate). This is possible only if you know the password :-) even without knowing, the recovery procedure is working fine.
In my case:
- I created an Child apple ID (as described in Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids), child is -13y
- As mentioned in Leave Family Sharing : "Children under 13 can't be removed from a family. If you need to, you can transfer the child to another family or delete their Apple ID". ok, fair enough. Then I want to delete the id... But I cannot find where the delete option is available ???

Is there a way to delete the Apple ID used on one device (IPhone5) and replace it with another ID that is being used on three other devices?
If you have turned on Settings > iCloud > Find My you will have to start by turning that off - requires entering the Apple ID password. Then remove the Apple ID from all places it is used, i.e., Messages, FaceTime, and so on. Go to the App Store and then Sign Out. Now you can enter the desired Apple ID and password in all of those places.

How do I delete and Apple ID ? I had a friend transfer all my stuff from one phone to another using his computer. I can't update or download apps, his ID pops up and asks for his password instead of mine! Ugh so frustrated right now!
You can't delete an Apple ID. Furthermore, everything you transferred is tied permanently to your friend's Apple ID. You do not legally own that software. If you want that software for yourself, then you need to purchase it using your Apple ID.

and now I have two apple ids and I'd like to delete one and just use one for both devices.There's no way to delete an Apple ID. Just don't use it.

You would have to ask Apple. You can delete the ID from your devices and stop using it, but the ID is maintained by Apple. You can also make changes to your ID if you need to (see Change your Apple ID - Apple Support).

HT1923 I can't delete the Apple folder in Common Files
My computer would not recognize my iPhone. I tried the troubleshooting tips found online, uninstalling everything in order. When verifying all files had been removed, I could not delete the Apple folder in Common Files as it says the folder or a file in it is open in another program. When checking my programs I see iCloud remains (published by Apple). Need that be uninstalled as well? How important is it to delete the Apple folder which has an Internet Services folder in which are two other folders (filled with files), an application AppleOutloodDAVConfig64, and three application extensions? I can no longer remember if my phone had remained connected to the computer throughout all of the process or not,
Does it say something is in use in there?
