Deleted and adjusted the Master data table, sid table and text table

Deleted and adjusted the master data table, sid table and text table of an zinfoobject after removing and adding attributes to that zinfoobject and was trying to activate it and system was giving me messages that cannot activate infoobject something like this.
So, i deleted and adjusted the master data table, sid table and text table. Since then getting messages right after executing the query because in that query that infoobject is getting used.
So the messages i am getting is:
SID 9 for characteristic Zinfoobject could not be converted CL_RSDM_READ_MASTER_DATA->_SIDVAL_DIRECT_READ2
System error in program SAPLRRK0 and form MEGA_SORT_M_02-02- (see long text)
Please help me in fixing this whole thing.

SAP BW,
After adjusting your Master Data IOBJ and deleting and reloading the data - run a change run to adjust the references to the SIDs and then see if your query runs - run program RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN from se38 and select your IOBJ in the next screen..

Instead, in the master data of a certain customer which has its Reconciliation Account equal to xxxxxx, I've filled in the sort key ZZ2 (BELNR).
Posting a document, I need that the Assignment number is equal to XBLNR.

Getting the error while loading the master data

Hi
i have tried to delete the master data using right click and delete master data, but still there are data.
Now i am trying to load this master data again then i am getting the message "0 from 50033 records"
and data load got failed with error message "master data/text of 0vendor already deleted "
and due to this i could not able to load my other infoprovider (which have 0 vendor).
can any body help me, it very urgent...

Hi Raju,
I assume there are no routines written in the update rules and also you ae directly loading the data from R/3 ( not from any ODS). If that is the case then it could be that, the data maintained in R/3 has overlapping time intervals (since time dependency of attributes is involved). Check your PSA if the same profit center has time intervals which over lap. In that case, you need to get this fixed in R/3. If there are no overlapping time intervals, you can simply increase the error tolerance limit in your info-package and repeat the load.

Schedulinng the Master Data- MDMGX

Hi All,
Can you help me on regarding this :
We have scenario where ECC(HCM) sending the master and reference data of PersonnelAdministration(PA)/Organization Management(OM) to MDM and our design confirmed that usign PFAL transaction for send the master data from HCM where MDM mster tables interested and usign MDMGX transaction for send reference data where MDM flat tables interested. Both are initial loads and as follows delta loads.
This process will through using SAP PI as middleware and we identified IDOC is HRMD_A07 for fetch the data from ECC , so my questions are :
1. what is the related report can call to trigger this HRMD_A07 using PFAL and how do i schedule this IDOC for initial loads as well as delta loads(when changes occures).
2. We required some custom zfields for adding this IDOC , how do I handle this (need steps)?
3. Did MDMGX/PFAL can capable to handle initial loads as well as delta loads?
4. can you guide me whole process for development perceptive.
5. I am new for this kind of work , if you have standard links and documents would help me lot..
hoping that I may reach you with related questions.. pls. help me development point of view..

MDM can syndicate only new(or updated) records from MDM repository to special directory(which confirgured as MDM outbond port) and XI/PI can get that syndicated file and send it to destination system.

Delete data from Q table of the master data

Hi ,
I had incorrect data loaded into the master data table of a particular object.
Upon repairing info object, the incorrect data got deleted from all the tables of the object except from the Q table.
After running repair multiple times also, these records in Q table are not getting deleted.
HOw can i delete these records from the Q table of the object ?

*COL(5) + *Str(_) + *COL(1)
I am considering that the 5th column of your file is the property. The 1st column is the ID.

First check whether that value exist in the Master data table.........to do this Go to RSA1 >> search the infoobject >> Go to the Master data / text tab..............here check the P table...........to check it double click on the table..........there check if that value exist...........and also check the version..........whether it is in M version or A version..............If it is in M version.............then activate the Master data..........because SID gets generated during the activation of the Master data..................
To activate the Master data.................use the program : RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN...........
Then repeat the load.........
If the value does'nt exist in the table...............then first check the IP.............if the setting is only PSA..........then first update the request in the target...........if the setting is OK..............
Then go to the source system...............check in RSA3...........give the datasource here.........and check whether the value exist in the source system or not.................if not then check the R/3 tables.......that whether the value exist in the table or not..............if the value exist in the table............then check how data is getting populated in the Extract structure..........

i ahve some doubts abt generating sid table with master data, according to external star schema when we will activate master data only , sid will be generate automatically, actually i created info object, i switch off with master data and text after activationg my info object its still showing sid table from char info object also.

the system defaults all the Io's as msterdata objects, you need to go the masterdata/texts tab - uncheck the check box for both with masterdata and with texts.
Even though you dont have any attributes available for a IO, but still the IO would be created to hold some values as a part of either transaction data or just masterdata values for that IO. If you load transaction data for the Zobject you created, the system would populate the corresponding fields in the Stable, by assigning SID;s to the values that have been populated thru transaction data. So every IO will have a Stable, eventhough it might or might not have corresponding master data.

How to find all the Master data extract structures and Extractors

I intend to create Master data dimensions closely similar to SAP BI in a 3rd party system. I would like to use SAP's standard extractors for populating the master data structures in SAP BI and then use a proprietary technology to create similar structures in a 3rd party database.
Question: How to get a complete list of all Master data extract structures and corresponding extractors?
Example: In ECC if I do SE80 and give 'Package' and 'MDX' and then press the 'display' spectacles, I get a list of structures and views under "dictionary objects" covering Material, Customer, Vendor, Plant Texts and attributes.
How do I get the remainder of the Master data extract structures viz. Purchase Info Records, Address, Org Unit etc?

try the table ROOSOURCE and search the data source with string in astrick attr for master data and for text with text
This will give you the list of all the master data source in the system and it contains a column which tells about the extract structure and function module used by each.

Master data Templates have to be prepared based on Client's requirement after understanding their Business.
For example, in Equipment master there are ~ 60 to 70 feilds, no client requires all of them. Some are inherited.
After client requirement freezing, record LSMW and based on that prepare the Template.

I got a query, in this one i have an Infoobject with many values, like to say invoice number, and i filter and need a lot of Nav Attr of this IO, for this reason the query performance its really bad but i dont know what to do, some friend advice me this : So I would suggest some indexes on the Master data table of your IO for the navigationnal attributer you want to use.

Look.........Line item dimension and High Cardinality r related to each other..............Characteristic which has High Cardinality..we will use it as Line item dimension..........But........A dimension marked as a line item cannot subsequently include additional characteristics.......... This is only possible with normal dimensions...........If u r very sure.............then u can go for Line item dimension............no issues........
