Deleted apps keep appearing on my iPad. Why?
My iPad randomly installed old deleted apps. I didn't chang any settings. I have iTunes set to manually manage content and to Wi-Fi sync so I can drag and drop over my network. I restored the iPad and after restoring from the cloud, the old apps came back again! What might be the issue?

Try a Restart. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.

Is there any way that you can delete APPS that come on the iPad 2 when you buy it? For example, the stock app, can you delete that or is it permanently on there?
You cannot delete the preinstalled apps on the iPad. You can check by tapping and holding down on the icon until it wiggles. If no X appears, you cannot delete it.
Move it to another screen or bury it in a folder called" Stuff I don't Want" -
Deleted apps re-appearing on phone reboot
The deleted apps keep reappearing on my iPhone each time the phone reboots. This is weird. The automatic app download option is already turned off. I am not syncing to iTunes at all. Has anyone come across this issue? Please let me know.

Deleted apps keep re-appearing?
We have a number of iPads synced to the same iTunes account (school). I have deleted a few apps from my iTunes account but when I sync the iPads, those apps don't always disappear from the iPads. Why is that? Do I have to delete these apps individually off each iPad?
I have deleted the apps from my iTunes account (on the computer). When I sync via USB, all updates do get pushed out but those apps that I deleted from the account are staying on the ipads. When I manually delete the app from the individual iPad, and then sync, those apps re-appear (even though I have deleted them from the account).

App keeps appearing in updates
There is an app that keeps appearing in updates regardless of whether I update it, delete it, reboot iTunes or my Mac. This has been going on for a while now and that app is there every time I check. I can update all and then there it is in my updates. I have deleted the file from my iOS devices and from my hard drive and there it is in app updates.
How do I get this to stop?
iTunes 12 on Yosemite.Okay, I am sorry I said anything. Now the "Update All" button is greyed out and I have to update my apps one at a time. At least I can skip that one app now...

Deleted Apps keep re-installing
I keep deleting apps on my phone, but they keep reinstalling when I sync it up to the computer. This just started happening recently... either after the iOS 4.3 upgrade, or the 10.2.1 iTunes update. Or maybe just coincidence? Anyway, how can I stop these apps from reinstalling?

What's the point of letting me delete an app from my iPhone if this change is not persisted when I next sync? Can you suggest a reason why Apple added a feature to "temporarily delete this app until next sync"? It is clearly a bug. If it's not a bug then it is a very dubious functionality choice.
I used to manage my apps using my iPhone exclusively. This included installing, arranging, and deleting. Now I am forced to use my Mac do delete apps. This is a serious usability issue.
This never happened to me before. It only started quite recently. Therefore it seems Apple have introduced a major workflow change in the process managing my phone without so much as a popup hint or message. How does this fit in with Apple's whole ethos of simplicity?
At the end of the day I would like to be able to manage my apps using only my device. I would like the iTunes sync to be a 2-way street where changes made on both sides are persisted. I definitely don't want to be forced to uncheck apps using the Apps tab in itunes. -
Ok tech question- I got a new iPhone 4s and since I got it, everyday/every other day, apps that I haven't downloaded keep appearing on my phone! They never load, they always just say 'waiting' and I can't click on them, I just delete them. *** is going on???

Deleting Apps in Purchased Section In iPad

I'm just curious if there is a way to delete the Apps in the purchased section. I know this has been discussed before, but would like to know if there is a way to delete them. Some of the Apps I just would like gone. If they stay in purchased section, you can place them back again even if they are deleted from the screen.

You can hide the purchases in iTunes - but you have to do that on a computer - not on the iPad - if you are running iOS 6. if you are running iOS 5, you can hide the purches on the iPad itself.

How to delete apps not being used on iPad Air?
I Am new to this electronic world & seems maybe we downloaded many apps to see what it was not knowing it was permanent ;so now I try to access what I want to use & all I get is the blue circle turning endlessly .can I do anything to resolve this problem ? Most of these apps we will never use & would prefer to delete if possible . Bear in mind I've learned some but many things can still be difficult (age & handicapped) please
You should be able to delete apps from your iPad that you've downloaded from the store. To do so press and hold any of the apps on your iPad’s homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' on their top left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the apps shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'.
You can also hide apps (you can't permanently delete items from your purchase history) via your computer's iTunes so that they then don't show in the Purchased tab in the App Store app for redownloading : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases. -
Photo app keeps crashing on new ipad mini retina
When clicking on the share button in the photos app it is very, very slow to load. My iPhone 4S loads faster than the new ipad mini then the photo app will crash.
Any ideas? Is it an ios 7 bug?It's probably because you don't have enough storage to add all the photos. This happened to me too last week, but I (finally) figured it out. I have many apps and photos on my iPad, so my storage was low. I deleted a few things, and it worked perfectly fine!! Hope this is the same case for you

Deleted apps still appear as purchased in App Store app? How to delete?
How do I make deleted apps disappear from the list of purchased apps in the App Store?
You don't.
You cannot delete Apps from that list as that would defeat its purpose. It allows you to download purchased apps without having to re-pay for them. Its apple's way of remembering what apps you already payed for and can download again, without charging you for them again. Purchased Apps cannot be removed from the list.
You can however hide them if you wish:

Note: The ability to hide them from an iOS device was removed in iOS6. -
After the update I decided to clean up my launchpad a bit. I deleted some app store apps as well as some non app store apps. After clicking and dragging an app to place on a new page the recently deleted apps (both app store and non app store) would return but they could not be deleted from the launchpad directly even after reinitiating the wiggly delete icons. I had to go to finder and locate them and manually delete from there. At that point they are gone as far as I can tell.
Just want to see if this is me or maybe this should be brought to their attention.Hi there.
I've had a similar problem. I found 'killing' the Dock with the Terminal command 'killall Dock' seems to work.

Looks like you have some accessibility setting turned on. Not sure which one. Can't seem to find it on any of the settings.
Have you tried resetting the phone? Hold down the Home and Sleep/Power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. Ignore any slider that may appear. -
Why does iMovie app keep crashing on my iPad 2?
My iMovie keeps crashing when I playback my project and it also only seems to allow me to split each clip only once. I have to restart the app to split the same clip again at another time instance.
