Deleted apps reappearing

I haven't been able to pin down what triggers this, but I have been sporadically finding previously downloaded and deleted apps suddenly appear on one of my home pages. It may just be the icons, I'm not positive (next time it happens I will try to open one of said apps). Either way, each time I immediately hold to delete them, and press okay to deleting the apps and all their data. Doesn't seem to stop it from suddenly reloading them when I don't expect it. Is this just an ios 8 glitch? I have an iphone 6 and have downloaded both the first two/new updates to ios 8.

This is an update of my former topic!
I have conducted an experiement:
I choosed the app Bebot, since this is one of the first apps ever bought, and I have never deleted it until today!
Deleted Bebot app from ipad
Deleted Bebot app from itunes
Redownload Bebot app from itunes store on win
It does not get checked in Sync apps!
I should because I have Automatically sync new apps enabled!
I check it
Apply.
Syncing starts. Bebot installed on ipad
Delete Bebot app from ipad
Itunes uncheck automatically
Apply, sync starts
Bebot does not reappear and is not installed on ipad
Exit itunes and reopened itunes
Bebot still unchecked
Perform Sync...Bebot dont get synced back!
Conclusion:
Old apps that are deleted dont get synced back and do not reappear after sync
New apps that are deleted get synced back and reappears after deleting!
I dont classify the newly downloaded Bebot as a new app, since it is registered on my itunesaccount two years ago.
This test leads to an inevitable question:
Did Apple changed something in the behaviour of newly bought apps?
If so, what has changed and why, cause it does more harm than use in my opinion!

  • Deleting apps reappearing after sync

    Greetings!
I'm having an issue where when I delete apps on my 3G, when I sync back up with iTunes, the apps are put BACK onto the phone. Anyone else experiencing this or know why it's happening?
    Thanks in advance!
    Bob

On the Applications page of your device when connected to iTunes, check synch "Selected applications", not "All", When you delete an app from your phone, the app should automatically uncheck itself on the page, but sometimes this doesn't happen. Review the selected apps before synching.
If you're sure you don't want to use the app again, you can delete if from your iTunes library.

  • Problem deleting .app

I am having a problem deleting .app files from my macbook. I can delete other files such as .mp3 or any other but for some reason when i delete a .app it reappears on my HD. there will be a white circle with a line through it as if its stopping me from being able to delete.
    What can be wrong?

I just figured it out and fixed it. There was a CleanApp Launch Daemon in my Library.deleted it, restarted my macbook and now joy =]

  • Deleted apps re-appearing on phone reboot

The deleted apps keep reappearing on my iPhone each time the phone reboots. This is weird. The automatic app download option is already turned off. I am not syncing to iTunes at all. Has anyone come across this issue? Please let me know.

    Did you jailbreak your iPhone?
Try restoring it an setting it up as a new phone from another user account on your computer.

  • APP wiggle won't stay on so can not move or delete apps

iPhone 5.  recently installed Viber.  When I start the app it immediately turns off and now I can not put the phone in wiggle mode to move or delete apps.

Double tap the Home button, then swipe upwards on the Viber preview to stop it if it is running in the background. Also perform a reset as outlined below.
Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

  • I have deleted hundreds of pictures, I've deleted apps, deleted emails and texts, and I've turned off and deleted backups of apps on icloud and it is still telling me that there is not enough icloud storage available for my phone to be back

I have deleted hundreds of pictures, I've deleted apps, deleted emails and texts, and I've turned off and deleted backups of apps on icloud and it is still telling me that there is not enough icloud storage available for my phone to be backed up. I am supposed to do this before I go to the Apple store today to get my phone fixed. Can someone please help me? I have done almost everything.

This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage.  In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud.  To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.  This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back.  (In fact, it's faster because you don't have to download the data from iCloud.)

  • My iPhone 4s notified me that I had to manage my storage  so I deleted  apps that used a lot of space I deleted almost all my picture and it still keeps telling me  I don't have enough storage  is there any other way I can make room on my phone ?

My iPhone 4s notified me that I had to manage my storage  so I deleted  apps that used a lot of space I deleted almost all my picture and it still keeps telling me  I don't have enough storage  is there any other way I can make room on my phone ?  Were it shows how much storage  I have available it still says 9.9 even after all that I have done so I don't know if I need to change my storage plan or what but anything will help I guess

Check for 'others' in iTunes against your iPhone.
Restore from a previous backup to reclaim some of it.
Still want more, Restore in iTunes, setup as New.

I have been able to delete an app from itunes then from the bin in my own area on the computer. It seems the problem is that it's in another user area? any ideas please? thanks

  • How do I delete apps from the cloud as well as my device (iPhone 4 and iPad 2)

I am using an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2.  I want to remove apps from the devices as well as the cloud list. (Not on this i***). Help!

To delete apps from a device press and hold any of the apps on the device's homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'.
You can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 - with iOS 7, after hiding apps on my computer's iTunes I've been needing to log out of my account on my iPad and then log back for them to be hidden from the Purchased tab in the App Store app.
If you need to permanently delete data from iPhone, My recommendation is iPhone Data Eraser, which can erase all data including contacts, messages, call history, apps, system setting, photo, video, keyboard cache, safari bookmark. Indeed, iPhone Data Eraser worth trusting and it makes the work more effective. What you need is a windows computer. One single click and data deletion finish. In addition, the program also works well with iPad and iPod Touch.

  • Delete Apps from MacBook but not from iPhone

How can I delete Apps from iTunes but not from iPhone 3GS when I Sync them? The moment I delete the Apps from iTunes and then sync iPhone, iPhone deletes them as well.
    Please assist.

If you intend to ever sync your phone with your Macbook then you can't delete the app from your Macbook, otherwise the apps will also delete from your iPhone (as you've discovered).

  • Deleted Items Reappearing in iCal

I am trying to delete items from iCal but they keep reappearing after a few minutes. I'm not syncing to an iPhone, iPod, etc, so I can't figure out why this keeps happening. For example, I am looking at my April calendar, I delete items that I no longer want on the calendar, they appear to be deleted, and then 2 to 5 minutes later they all reappear. If this has something to do with syncing with .mac I can't figure out what. I've tried turing syncing with .mac both on and off to see if that makes a difference and it doesn't appear to. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I had all sorts of weird things happening in iCal this morning: Deleted events reappeared, edited events were accompanied by an empty ghost event that had the default title "New Event", birthday entries were duplicated, etc.
I tried various things and finally what restored everything back to normal so far (fingers crossed), was the removal of a Microsoft Outlook Exchange meeting invite I had recently received in Mac OS X Mail and accepted which then popped into iCal. I deleted the event, Mail sent an automatic Decline email (which I had to manually reply to saying that I am going to the event nonetheless) and now everything seems fine again.
I think there are some significant flaws in the way Microsoft Exchange Calendar events and iCal work together.

  • How do i delete apps on itunes ??? i went to the library and it only shows a few apps that i have.  But when i go into my account i can see all of the apps i have downloaded.  soooo how do i delete the apps that are only showing in my account?

How do I delete an app on iTunes?  I can delete the apps that are shown in the library of iTunes by right clicking and hitting "delete".  But all of my apps aren't shown in the library (I don't understand that either).  I can see all downloaded apps in my account though. But I don't see how to delete them from there.

If you plug in your iphone, click on it in iTunes, and go to the apps section, it should be checked to sync apps if you want them to show up in iTunes as well as your iPhone. Once synced they will show on both.
Then if you click Apps under the Library header in the left panel of iTunes, you'll be able to permanently delete apps, removing them entirely from iTunes. Highlight an app's icon or a group of icons by holding down Shift and hit the delete key (or select Edit > Delete from the top menu or right-click on an icon and selecting delete).
