Deleted by MMS Adaptation

I am able to successfully send MMS messages from an iPhone 3G after applying the most recent carrier update. However, any message that I receive that contains either a picture and/or video is received with the message "One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal."
Any ideas on how to get through this error? Call AT&T? Restore, etc.?

Help is right here, front and center! Let's get your mms working properly. May I ask are you using the original stock messaging app to send texts and mms? Also, are you using any special characters or emojis in your message? Since you state that the issue is to iPhones, did you happen to have used an iPhone on your mobile number just before you were using the Galasy S 5? As you share the details then we can investigate.

Logical delete in database adapter

I was wondering if someone has solution the problem with polling database. You can specify the logical delete column and you can give values for READ, UNREAD and RESERVED states. The problem is that when for example ESB project polls some specific table and starts an instance for every new row with specified logical delete field with value UNREAD, when something unexpected happens and something goes wrong the database adapter updates the row with READ value. This is problematic if we have thousands of rows, and we would like to separate the errored rows from the successfully read rows. Is there anyway (easy) way to update those rows that went wrong to some other value than READ?
I don't know if anyone understood me, but just for clarification here's a example:
I have a ESB-project which poll specific database table and parses and XML from the data. After this the ESB-project sends the data to some Web Service. The database table has column CONDITION_CODE in which value 0 means unread and value 1 means read. Now if everything goes fine there is no problems. But if the Web Service is unavailable or the data is malformed, the database adapter still updates the CONDITION_CODE to 1! We have no ways (except to listen ESB_ERROR topic and implement some error handling there) to know what rows were successfully delivered and which were not...
Hope I was able to clarify the problem... And I hope someone could be able to provide me with answer.

Did you use the RESERVED value property? How about the transaction mechanism? Do you have global transactions? I gues you would have to use them!

Logical delete in DB adapter with 2 columns to update

Hi',
I am using Oracle SOA 11G.
I am polling a DB table and after reading the data I have to update 2 columns.
With logical delete we can update 1 field, is it possible to update 2 fields.
If Yes, then I have to update the first column BPEL_FLAG = R and BPEL_TIME = currentTime()

Deleting Texts/MMS

Hi There
in the last few days my Blackberry seems to have started enjoying deleting all my texts and MMS messages at any given time for no reason, it can be anything from ten minutes after sending/receiving to a few hours.. Just look in my inbox and suddenyl it's empty
This is getting a bit annoying now as i can't keep track of any conversations i'm having
does anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like you are running into a memory issue. Do you use a memory card?

I'm assuming you don't have backups? If that's correct, read this:
Recovering deleted files
If not, just restore from your backup.

MMS issue with iPhone 4?

So luckily I have not had any of the issues that a lot of people seem to be having and I'm loving my new phone, but something happened last night and I'm not sure if it's an apple issue or an AT&T issue.
I took a picture and tried to send it via MMS to two friends of mine (that I MMS quite frequently). Both of them received the following error message:
"One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal."
I tried to resending several times but they keep getting that message. One of them has an iPhone 3G and one a Blackberry of some sort.
Any ideas what may be going on?

Last night was the first time I had attempted to send a picture via MMS on my new Iphone4. I took a picture with the phone and attempted to send it but kept getting a red exclamation point indicating failure. It would load to about 98% and then fail. I tried rebooting etc but nothing helped. This morning I did two things and finally got it to successfully send a picture.
1. I turned on location services for the camera
2. I cleared all history/cookies/cache (setting>safari>clear history/cookies/cache
I took a new picture with the iphone4 and sent it successfully. I turned off the location services for the camera and tried to send a previously failed picture and again it failed. I turned the location services back on for the camera and the previously failed picture went through successfully.
Either there is an intermittent problem causing the issue or the location services has to be "ON" for camera in order to send a picture via MMS. Give it a try and see what happens.

Phone won't play MMS movies

Hi all.
I am in the hospital as a paraplegic and have been trying to send MMS movies to me GF. All was working find but now all she gets is it says unsuitable for my terminal. We have tried restarting and rebooting her phone with no luck. MMS is on.

I tried rebooting my phone and reshooting the video and what she gets is One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal.

I can send a .gif but I can't receive the same .gif

So I sent a .gif to my friend from my iPhone 5 to her Samsung Galaxy S4 and when she sent it back to me, I get the message, "One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for our handset."
Is there a solution to this?

Picture Text Error Message

So with recieving some of my picture texts now i am getting an error message that states the following "One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your handset" is this a carrier issue or a software issue? I am using an iPhone 5 with the 7.1 OS, thanks!

HELP... My Tour is playing a previously deleted MMS each time I end a call and I need it to stop.

I accidentally played an MMS that was sent to me by a friend and now each time I end a call by pressing the red button, the message plays. I deleted the MMS and I can not find the file anywhere on the device.
Any ideas as to how I can get this to stop, it is really getting annoying.

Delete the file from your media, music or ringtone
Delete the MMS message from your MMS fodler.
Reboot the device: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Problem in deleting Backend adapter

File was not deleteing in my file adapter

Hi,
in my File adapter (<b>sender side</b>) is not working fine.. if i put the processing mode is '<b>DELETE'</b> my adapter is not working.. if i put the processing mode is 'TEST' then my file is polling and outfile was generating.. why this was happending..
if keep processing mode is 'delete' then the file is polling but it was not deleting so, output also it was not generating... .. for what reason it was happening..

Hi Babu,
You must be using some user for accessing the file system for picking up tht file...
Check if the user has Delete access to the folder.
(You can set this property in the FTP Server UI)
