Deleted content of Library/Phones HELP
As I posted before my Mac does not load my Nokia 6230 into iSync. I did some sync before but one day it stopped. I remember I did the probably stupid action to delete the content of Library/Phones and therfore I deleted the original plugin.
Now it is impossible to sync,,,,,
What should I do ?
Where can I find the solution ??
Yes.. I DELETED ALSO THE TRASH !!!
No iSync was not moved from its original position.
I did the simplest suggestion first, repaired the permissions and seen that there was a lot wrong about Phones: (sorry Report is in Italian but sure you will understand)

But this was not able to solve the problem.
May be there is a conflict with Missing Sync for WM and Missing Sync for Palm OS which I have also installed ???
Anyway I am going do download the suggested Combo Update and I will install it.

Update deleted my music library
First, I tried to manually sync 2 songs but it said "Iphone could not be synced. Internal error has occurred." So I tried to update both itunes and my iphone. It didn't work nd it deleted my music library. Help
@shadow221, unfortunately that method only retured my previously backedup photos and nothing else. After attempting restoring it back to a few Backups with failed attempts, I just gave up.
Some users mentioned doing a complete restore to factory setting and do a backup but it just screwed with my ipod and no music back. So i just let it be. I reloaded my old tracks from iTunes, my Apps, unfortunately iTunes doesnt give me any option to reload any of my videos FML.
I did the above and wasted a good day and a half of my life reloading (on my pc) 300 songs, now I only have 1,200+ more to download to match my previous library contents. Thanks Apple.
PS: i called Apple a week before the iOS 5 release and an associate explained that it will NOT delete my library if I do the update---thanks much for the warning!!! -
I have seven(7) podcasts on my iPhone 4 that iTunes will not delete. iTunes copies them from the phone to the library and will not delete them from the phone when deleted from the library. I have replayed the podcasts over and over and they still won't delete. Podcasts are WSJ Tech briefings.
This happens to several of my podcasts whenever an updated iOS comes out. You can delete the episode directly from the phone by swiping it from left to right. That seems to fix the issue (they drop off the phone and dont reappear on iTunes). It's as if iTunes stops tracking the play count for some shows.

This means that you are using a different computer to update it from the one you usually sync to. Alternatively, it may mean that you never sync to a computer. -
If I delete my iCloud backup will it wipe all the content from my phone?
If I want to delete my iCloud back up to clear the iCloud memory, will it delete the content on my phone? I want to delete it then back it up again hoping I'll have more iCloud space available afterwards but I don't want to lose everything!
ThanksDelete iCloud backup will not erase data in iPhone. After deletion be sure that you have all your space available before make a new backup.

i had to upgrade from ios7 to ios8 but it needed more storage i had so i backed up my phone to my computer then deleted the content on my phone and upgraded to ios8. i have not connect my phone and computer since. how do i get my content back?

Powershell to add/delete content type to particular library alone in a site collection

I am trying to add and delete content type from a particular picture library (site collection) using powershell.
I have tried the below, but it is not working.
Below scenarios are not working:
1) If the content type to be added is there in library, then the loop is still moving to "No content type exists".
2) Content type is not getting deleted from library
3) Set the newly added content type as default content type.
Below is the powershell, which I am trying:

I checked it. If the script is run multiple times, the add and delete content type will throw error.

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

TS1702 Help me delete my apps from phone
Why are my apps from my phone not syncing to my computer. I want to delete some that I do not use anymore and I believe I can only do that is I delete using iTunes. Please help!! I can't get support on the phone because Apple needs more money first.
Your apps are probably not syncing correctly because of some issue with Apple ID - such as using a different Apple ID to purchase the app than is used on iTunes or your iPhone.
To delete the app, hold its icon until an "X" appears in the upper left, then click the "X". Click the home button to end the app wiggling. -
the songs i tried to sync to my phone and greyed out and wont play, i cant delete them off the phone or sync any new music.. can anyone help me?

You might not have enough space on your phone.
Look on iTunes and see how much space the photos you copied over is consuming. -

After moving my itunes library from my old WinXP computer to my new Win7 computer, itunes gives a warning that my content on my phone must be removed and re-synced. I want to merge changes/updates on my phone with my itunes library as normal, not erase it & replace it. My updates/changes will be lost.
How do I merge content on my iPhone & content in iTunes together?Hopefully you still have the original library and can redo the migration...
These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.
