Deleted coremidi.framework & CAN'T OPEN MUSIC PROGRAM. please help!

I use Ableton LIVE to make music. I don't know what "coremidi".framework is, but the coremidi.framework folder always bounces in my dock. I recently downloaded and installed my first plugin (Waves Tune) which wasn't working, so I suspected this CoreMidi.framework thing was interfering w/ LIVE.. so I went to my finder and finally DELETED COREMIDI.FRAMEWORK once and for all, thinking this would help my computer run better. NOW I CAN'T even open Ableton LIVE- a window pops up which indicates:
"check with the developer to make sure Live works with this version of Mac OS X. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X."
I did this of course and the only update available is a new version of Itunes which I don't care about. I am a data management idiot and quite stupid when it comes to this technical stuff so any help is much appreciated as I spend all my free time making music and now I am stuck in the mud.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If all the above fails, then it appears to be time for a relatively painless Archive & Install, which gives you a new/old OS, but can preserve all your files, pics, music, settings, etc., as long as you have plenty of free disk space and no Disk corruption, and is relatively quick & painless...

Just be sure to select Preserve Users & Settings.
Which 10.6.x does bt default, just Updates needed after that.

Did you upgrade to Lion just before setting up iCloud? that's more likely to be the issue. PhotoShop CS2 is a PPC program and won't run on Lion - on Snow Leopard it requires Rosetta to emulate PPC, and this is not included in Lion. CS3 and lateer apparently work though with issues.
Click on the program's icon in the Finder and hit command-i. Near the top of the pane it will say 'Kind': if it says 'PowerPC' then this is the problem. It will not run on Lion and there is no workaround. You will need to revert to Snow Leopard (you could install this on an external disk and start up from that).

Can't Open Adobe programs? Help!

I recently replaced my hard drive and still have the old one with all my Adobe applications.
Both hard drives have the same OS and the applications worked on the old one until I replaced it.
I tried to reinstall the Adobe applications and before I can I get the message:
"Adobe Illustrator 13.0.0 [k] (Universal) cannot be opened because of a problem."
without getting the option of installing an update.
I also tried to copy the programs from the Old to the New HD with no luck
Please help, I can't possibly afford to repurchase.

No I did nothing to the old drive but get the case, plug it in and try to use the programs.
Adobe's apps always look for their support files on whatever hard drive contains the currently active operating system. So when you plugged in the external drive and tried to open any of the Adobe apps from it, it looked on the new drive for its support files and didn't find them, and therefore failed to run. This was normal, predictable behavior. Only if you had booted from the old drive would you have had a chance of being able to open the Adobe apps from it.
Put all my other advice on hold for the moment. Connect the old drive to a USB port and start (or restart) the computer, holding down the Option key to bring up the Startup Manager screen. Select the OS on the external drive to start up from, and wait for startup to finish (it will be slower via USB than when the drive is installed internally). Once it's up and running, try to open each of your Adobe apps from it. While doing this, ignore the new internal drive completely — don't open anything on it. If your apps all open, your iTunes library is intact, and nothing else seems to be out of whack, you can proceed to clone the old drive to the new one without swapping them. If all is well on the old disk, all will be well on the new one too.

What i have done since i try is to delete the ProKit.framework and install it new, but did not work.
I also completely removed Logic and all components and reinstalled, the same error occurs.
If i remember right it is possible that i've installed the ProKit-version and i now think that requires 10.5!
The old version was called Pro Application Support.
I found this version - ProAppRuntime 4.0.2 - in the download-section on apple hp, but i cannot install this because i always get an error that the JavaScript check failed when i open the package!
Can anyone please please help me to fix this problem, hopefully without reinstall the complete OSX??

Can't open Garageband project, please help

I was using a Mac Mini, 10.7.5, and recorded some vocal tracks on Garageband 11. I clicked gospel choir vocal effect at first, and it was fine. When I wanted to try another effect by clicking another one, the application quit. When I tried to open the project again, the initializing window popped up, and a few seconds after, it said something like "Garageband quit unexpectedly, do you want to reopen to restore the windows". When I clicked "reopen", it directed me back to Garageband recent project page without opening the project I was working on. I tried to open other projects I worked on previously, and those could be opened; just not the one that I worked on recently.
I didn't back up anything with the Time Machine because I never used it before, didn't know how to use it.
I just saved the project to my USB drive, deleted the one on the Mac Mini, deleted Garageband, updated to iOS10.9 something, reinstalled the newest version of Garageband, tried to open the project from the USB drive, failed again.
When I open the "show package content", some mp3 files of my recorded vocals are there. I don't think all of what I recorded are there, but some.
Please help.

I have downloaded three "ready-made" websites for me and it is supposed to have Wordpress in as well. I can see the folders in my downloads but I can't open them. It refers to a "zip" file which I don't see nor a "dmg", only a blue folder. Can anyone help me to figure out how to get this open and set up on my computer? I guess you can tell I'm new and very frustrated. Thank you!

It's not clear what you mean by 'see the folders in my downloads but I can't open them', although it seems possible that a zip file opened/unzipped to create them.
Perhaps if you include a screenshot, and/or a link to the site where you got these, and describe exactly what happens when you try to open a folder that won't open.

I downloaded the camera raw 8.7 update, but can't open app. Please help!

I've tried this on two different Mac computers. I recently bought the Nikon d750, and am unable to open any raw files with Lightroom 4 or Photoshop CS6. The 8.7 DNG converter available to download through abode is not working. I am going through all of the steps to install, but then nothing. Can't open or find it anywhere. Can someone please help. I am on a deadline!

As mentioned it was not in the applications folder. HOWEVER, I did a broach search on "dng" and found the "Adobe DNG Converter.app"!!! I don't know where it was hiding but moved it my desktop. I was able to convert a folder full of NEFs and import to lightroom. Now everrything is looking pretty good for me hopefully my last couple of posts will help lolapea1:
Recap 1) be sure to load the DNG converter in addition to the camera raw converter
2) Search all folders for Adobe DNG Converter.app and move to where you can find (ie. desktop)

Can't open Logic. Please help.

My Macbook crashed about a week ago. I took it to an Apple repair centre to have it fixed. Before I did that, I backed up my HD using Target Disk Mode with my other mac as the host. Now my MacBook is fixed, and I restored the system (using Target Disk Mode again, erase what was on the hard drive on the MacBook, then I copied everything on my backup drive onto the MacBook hard drive. But it couldn't start up, so I reinstalled Leopard using the option which keeps the previous files).
Now my problem is, although it looks like the system is my old system, when I open Logic Pro 8, it asks me to input the serial number again. Also, my QuickTime Pro now becomes the rubbish QuickTime Player. The thing is I can't find the serial number for Logic Studio 8, nor the installation disks. They are in my other home, which I won't go back for another 3 months. So my question is: is there any way I can get a new serial number from Apple, or any other way that lets me use Logic again?

I would call Apple, explain the situation and see if they can help you. Maybe also bring it back to the service center and walk them through your steps to restore your disk, etc.
