Deleted databases still shown on OEM

Hi,
I have deleted several databases using oracle database configuration assistent. I think this way it will be deleted clean. But when I do refresh all nodes from the navigator menu, these databases are still shown there. When I double click on them, I get the error message that says TNS listener failed to start the dedicated server process. Is this normal?

I tried to remove those databases and do the refresh again. They come back and I get the message saying refresh failed for some nodes. It should fail for the databases are gone. But why those db names reappear in the nagivation tree? Is there a way to correct it? Thanks.

Deleted mails still shown on my Ipad

I have a new Ipad. I set up Mail to show mails on my IMAP account. My problem is this:
If I delete a mails with my other Imap client it is not always deleted on my Ipad (but not always). It is very annoying that Mail doesn't reflect the contents on my Imap account.
My other mail clients (Thunderbird, Android) has no problem reflecting the inbox correct. But Mail on Ipad fails.
It is not really an option to manually delete all mails again on the Ipad. I just want Mail to sync correct.

Take the fact that Mail on Ipad can't show all my 600 folders. It actually shows more if I slide down, but it then bounces up ~5 folders as if the list was empty.
The developers didn't think anyone could have that many folders, and I'm not surprised if they haven't tried with +40.000 mails.
I made a softlink to my inbox-file. Now I do have the exact same content in my Inbox folder and my InboxLinkFolder. On my Ipad the InboxLinkFolder shows the correct content. But the Inbox folder shows emails that are deleted. The Inbox sync functionality must have some "too smart algorithm".
Onother way for me too prove the error could be to delete the account, then recreate the account. If the Inbox isn't the same for the new account then the Mail app has a bug. But I don't feel for doing that.
Other IMAP clients I've used recently: Thunderbird, K-9 (android), Alpine (linux). All those works with the inbox, but not the Mail-app.

Deleted music still appears on N96

Hope someone can shed some light on my problem. I transfered some music onto the N96 from WMP but not all of it was recognised, even after refreshing the library.
So I deleted the incomplete albums from the phone using the file manager. But when I go to the music player some of the deleted songs are still shown.
How do I clear them off the phone so I don't see them listed in the music player?
Any help much appreciated.

Do you mean if they're still there in the playlists? In that case, you have to remove them from the playlists.

I have Installed new instance of Oracle onto my server but on services window I can still see the older instances of oracle.
Apart from this I am unable to create database instance with same name as previous instance name.

have a text convo with the person you want to delete. Go to the top contact in the text convo, hit edit contact, and delete that contact.
That resolution came from another thread on this issue, and this did solve to poster's issue.

Deleted emails still on my server - where do they go?

Sorry if this is an old topic; I read a buttload of threads about deleting and still have barely scratched the surface but am too impatient to read any more, and still haven't found my exact issue.
When I manually delete an email (which moves it to my trash) and then I either manually delete it from the trash or select "Erase Deleted Messages" from the Mailbox menu, the email appears to be totally gone from Mail but it is still on my ISP's mail server. I know this because my account is merged with a web-based email account from the same company, and they tell me they use the same server and mailbox for both accounts. When I do the deletes described above in Mail and then log onto the web-based account that uses the same server, the email is still there. So how can the email be totally deleted from Mail and yet still be on the server? Is it hiding in the Library somewhere? Will it eventually be removed from the server at the time specified in my prefs' "mailbox behaviors" under "erase deleted messages when"? If I didn't happen to have this back door for noticing that emails are still on the server, how would I know if deleted messages were really removed from the server? And if it is eventually removed from the server, will it still be hiding somewhere on my hard disk?
In case it matters: I have not created any mailboxes of my own in Mail. As far as I can tell I do have anything going on "on my mac", if I understand that term correctly as it is used in Mail.
BTW if I delete emails automatically by checking the advanced prefs checkbox for "remove copy from server after receiving a message", that does remove them from the server, unlike the manual delete procedures I described above.

what messages does that button remove? The current message?
All messages? Just the ones that don't have a blue dot next to them?
The Remove Now button removes ALL messages available at the incoming mail server for the account.
To remove an individual message from the server, select the button at the bottom of the mailboxes drawer which has a gear icon.
At the bottom of the menu window that appear, select Get Info.
Select the POP via the Account selection - the account will be already selected if you are accessing a single account with the Mail.app.
Under the Messages On Server tab at Show Messages, All messages on POP server should be selected.
The window below will reveal all messages currently available on the server. You can select an individual message or multiple messages and then the Remove From Server button.

Sometimes the Junk Email rule is damaged. An example of this can be seen here:

I would try a couple of things:
Try enabling the Junk Mail Filter, restart outlook, disable it again, and restart.
Or you may find that the just removing the junk mail rule manually using MFCMAPI may do what you want.
One last thing to look into... Does the mailbox do Exchange ActiveSync with a Samsung Android device? If so check here:

Deleted ringtones still on phone

I recently deleted a few ringtones from my iTunes library and from my computer. When I went to sync my tones the ringtones I deleted are still there on my phone. I tried checking and unchecking ringtones and re-syncing but nothing is working.
I have an iPhone 4 and it is updated to iOS5.1.1.

If you don't want to go through the whole restoring process, I think I've found a simpiler way to delete your tones from your library. While your iPhone is attached, go to the homepage of your itunes library in "Albums" view. Looks like this:
-Then, in the left hand corner, tap the "Music" tab.
-The drop down menu will fall down, and then you will select the "Tones" button.
-And from that screen you will be able to delete, rename, & customize your tones anyway you like! =]

Javac bug database still being maintained?

After the Oracle acquisition, is the javac bug database still being maintained? I submitted a bug report on 04/20/2010 and received an e-mail response back confirming it was a new bug on 04/22/2010. The e-mail said it would be posted in the external database in "a day or two", but now 12 days later Bug ID [6946211|http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6946211] is still not visible. I tried replying back to the e-mail but no response.
If anyone's interested, here is the sample code I submitted with the bug report.

How to delete database using sql

I have to delete some databases from oracle 8i. I tried it using the Database Configuration Assistant and I get stuck indefinately as the message always says connecting but nothing happens.
How can I delete databases using sql not thru the DCA?

files related to the database and follow these steps:
1.- shutdown the database
2.- Delete all files ( Control Files, .dbf, Redo's, Archive�s, parameter file, password file )
3.- Delete the entrance of this database from
listener.ora and from tnsnames.ora files.
and that's it.

Check the Recently Deleted album. Deleted photos will reside there for up to 30 days. This allows all those people who accidently delete photos to recover them, something they couldn't do before. To actually free up the space you might have to delete the photos in the Recently Deleted album.

Delete database with lost initdb.ora

Hi guys. How can i delete database with lost init file? I just want to recreate the database (with out any recovery or restoring process)
1. I can't start it because i don't have init.
2. I can't drop database because i can't start.
3. I can't recreate database using dbca because the same name somewhere exists:(

recreate init file... you can copy init.ora to init<SID>.ora and then modify DB_NAME and control_files parameters...

You can delete manual by remove datafiles, redo file and control files ... After that use "DBCA" to force remove....

On DBCA .... You should delete old database before....
DBCA can delete your database ... by not start database ... that remove databae name from oracle.... But, You have to manual delete on location PATH... Before start "DBCA" to create new database....
