Deleted email setup device on phone

I deleted the email setup device on my phone. I received an email saying I needed to update my password. I tried doing it online but can't remember my password or login. How can I reload the email setup device to I can do it on the phone?????

Did you delete the email setup wizard?
Also probably the best thing to do is call the carrier, have your PIN and ESN number and get them to reset the account.

In you mailbox you have an edit button up top on the right, click that and a button will show up next to each email, then you click the button on all the emails you want to delete.

Has nothing to do with syncing your phone. Determined by what type of email account you have. To keep mail in sync requires an IMAP or Exchange account, not possible with a POP account.

Accidently deleted Email Setup from a 9360

Hope someone can help, I have deleted the Email Set-up application from my handset. I need to reset-up my Email address and when I go through the set-up icon, my handset just highlights it but does not allow me to do anything further. I think I need to re-install the Set-up application. Where can I download it from and how do I install it? Many Thanks for any help offered

If you want to get your Email Setup icon back, you'll need to reload your OS using BlackBerry Desktop Software. Plug your phone in and click Device at the top of the software then click Backup and do a backup. Once you've done that, once again click Device then Restore and load the backup you just created. That will reinstall your Setup icon.
However, if you want to set up your email account(s) but don't wish to go through all that, try typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in your phone's browser and see if you can set up your account(s) that way. If it works, you won't need to reload your OS.

How to delete emails across devices

I want to be able to delete emails once but find if I delete from my iPad mini or iPhone, they still appear on the iMac desktop. How do I get deletions to synch across all three devices?

Unless your email account is an IMAP account, you have to delete the email on each device. The actions in a POP email account do not sync across devices. That only works with IMAP accounts.

Microsoft did as they always do - copy others and in this case they copied Google by allowing a Hotmail account to be accessed as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app.
If you are accessing the account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app, delete the account and recreate the account as a POP account.
A downside with a POP account is only one email client at a time can communicate with the incoming mail server to check the server for new messages and to download any new messages. When one email client is doing this when another attempts to do the same, the incoming mail server will temporarily block the 2nd email client from accessing the server.

It could be one of many things. I've always found the best way to set up an email address on your phone is to type www.blackberry.com/integrate from your phone's browser.
If that doesn't work, there might be an issue with your BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service). You'd have to contact Claro Peru to resolve that.

I can't delete email. The box come up "delete (not highlighted)" or "cancel (highlighted)" Only the cancel works. Please help!

Delete email account from my phone

I want to delete an email account from my Droid Razr Maxx. I set up my Yahoo account on my phone. I did not realize that I was going to get all the mail including the hundreds of spam I get daily on this account. I dont want to delete it, I just dont want it to get to my phone.

Ok so what one do you want to do away with if it's a Gmail account i would keep it unless it's getting really bad but one thing if you do get rid of it you have to Factory Reset to Remove the Gmail account Now if this is another Email say like AOL you can remove it by just going to accounts and going to the one in Question and remove it, then put your Yahoo in it's place one thing i would recommend doing is after you remove the Account go the home Screen perform a Soft Reset and then go back and add the Account when your phone comes back on..

Q5 Deleting emails on device but not on computer

Used to be able to clear the clutter on my Torch but retain on my computer. Doesn't appear possible on Q5.

Would be nice for Apple to create means for deleting email across all devices. Time consuming device by device especially for members receiving many emails. What do you think gang?!

How about Apple creating a means to delete email across devices especially when you have like 4 Apple devices (Mac, Macbook Pro, iPad and iPhone) Would benefit those of us receiving 13 - 1700 messages across the products. iOS 8 coming in fall. What do you think gang. Very frustrating and time consuming!!

Deleting emails on all devices

Hi,
Not sure if I've done something wrong since the OS2 upgrade but if noticed that if I delete emails either from my phone or playbook it has been deleting them in my BT email account. Obviously when being asked I'm choosing the delete on "Handheld" option not "Mailbox & Handheld" .
Any suggestions ?

This has already been discussed at great length in this forum.
The new OS-2 built-in email client only offers the Delete function. Unfortunately, it deletes it from the server as well. I found my deleted emails in my trash bin on my work desktop.
Recommend if you want to keep those emails, go through the process of filing them in a folder.
There WILL be times when you'll hit that delete and then explitives will abound as the mail is gone from the server when all you wanted to do was delete it from your PB.

Can I set my phone to delete email only on the phone, not off my computer? Blackberry has this option.

I have the same issue. Want to delete from iPhone and use the email on my computer to do all the detail work. Without it, until I can do the detail work on my computer, I will have thousands of emails piling up on my phone. I have tried setting up 2 file folders on my exchange server email; one called 'file' for filing certain emails and one called 'pending action' for those emails requiring more detailed work. It works - - but creates additional process steps each day. Even if I have already filed or done the detail work with the email on the computer, those emails still come to the iPhone. Again, creating double work.
Some smart and very organized person must have come up with an app to resolve this, don't you think?

Blackberry Bold 9650 OS 6 update email setup error

Hi All, I recently updated my Blackberry Bold 9650 to operating system 6. Ever since I can not access the email setup on the phone! I contacted verizon and they said they have had numerous calls on this. They had no fix except to go online to the VZW/Blackberry site to manage my email accounts. Does anyone have a solution to this error/bug? I used to be able to do this from the phone prior to the update! Thanks!!

It sounds like you need to reload your device's software. Before you do anything else, backup your data with Blackberry Desktop Software. Make sure you have any serial numbers, etc of any 3rd party apps written down. When you are ready, perform a security wipe of your device. To perform the security wipe, do the following:
Go to Options and press the trackpad.
Go to Security and press the trackpad.
Go to Security Wipe and press the trackpad.
Now, select the data you wish to delete. I recommend placing a check in the boxes beside everything except Media Card.
Type the word 'blackberry' without quotation marks in the blank space provided.
Select Wipe Data and press the trackpad. This will initiate the wipe process.
The whole process can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on how much data you have and if it is encrypted. Your device might restart a few times or may appear not to be doing anything, but do not stop the precess. Once it has completed, you will be alerted. You can then reload any of your personal data or 3rd party apps. You may not want to do this unless you have 2 or 3 hours to spend. Hope this helps.

Delete contacts from a deleted email account??? (sounds confusing I know)

This will require an explanation before I can get to my question so here I go. I have several email accounts that sync to my phone. I have now deleted one of my email accounts. The problem is that when I compose an email from any of the remaining email accounts still on my phone and start to type the name of the contact that I want to send the email to contacts from the deleted email account are still being displayed. I need to be able to remove the contacts from the deleted email account from my phone. These are contacts that are not part of my phone contacts. They are contacts that I have replied to from the deleted email account. If I have not clearly described my issue please let me know. Thanks for any suggestions anyone may have.

There is a system-wide email address cache. The only way to clear that cache is to perform a Restore via iTunes, and set your phone up as new (the list is backed up), meaning you'd need to reload all your content, redo your settings, etc.
