Deleted emails not syncing across devices

Until recently when I deleted an email on one device, it would sync on all of them. Now I'm having to delete them manually on each one. I use various devices Samsung phones, Ipad, Android tablets and always worked fine. None of the settings have changed on any of them so not sure why it's suddenly stopped working. All still using imap servers.

bought a neŵ iMac and a new macbookpro but flagged emails on old iMac not appearing on new machines.

In the iCloud preference pane, click the Options button next to iCloud Drive. In the sheet that opens, check the box marked Mail. If it's already checked, uncheck it and then check it again. Test.

Photos will not sync across devices in iOS 8.1

I have iOS 8.1.1 on both my iPad and my iPhone 5. After installing the new iOS and selecting 'iCloud Photo Library (Beta)' on both devices, the 'my photo stream' folder has disappeared and photos will not sync across devices. Everything was fine prior to installing the new iOS. Can anyone help me to fix this? Thank you!

If you are using iCloud Photo Library Beta there are some differences from what you may be use to. Please read over the attached article for information on how your pictures are now organized and for how you can turn it off if you choose to do so.

Collections do not sync across devices - bookmarks do ???

Hello. I am trying to sync my books & PDF's between my iPhone 4S & iPad2. Both are running iOS 5.0.1 and all apps are up to date. Both have "sync bookmarks", "sync collections", & "online audio & vidoe" checked. I am using iCloud and both devices are backed up nightly....
I have manually pulled books and PDF's to each device; what is strange is that when I bookmark on one devicee (say the iPhone), the bookmark is recognized almost instantly on the other device (iPad).... BUT, when I add a book or pdf to one device, it doesn't automatically sync to the other device.....??

Let me revise my last post - Books purchased in the library DO sync across devices; items I place in iBooks from email, etc.. do NOT sync.

"Sent" and "Trash" mailboxes not syncing across devices

My "In Box" syncs across devices, but the "Sent" and "Trash" boxes do not. How do I ensure that all my mailboxes are syncing across all my devices, so that conversations can move back and forth regardless of which device I am using at the moment?

TS3988 iCloud not syncing across devices?

My devices are not syncing in iCloud.
E-mails can be received but not deleted - I have to delete from each device separately.

iCloud does not sync emails. You are interacting directly with your email on the server, so whatever actions you take on one device/computer are actually performed on the server, so are also seen on every other device/computer that connects to the same account on the same server.
Just to confirm, you are referring to emails sent to your @icloud.com (or @me.com / @mac.com) email address, arent you? Not any other external email account?

Z10 Deleted Email not syncing to Gmail

My Z10 syncs email from Gmail, but does not sync DELETED email back to Gmail. What changes need to be made. Please help. Thanks.

Hi and Welcome to the Community! First off, please check your account/hub settings for "Delete On", and make sure it is NOT set to "Hub Only". If that is set, then change it to either Prompt or Hub and Server. If that does not do it, then please with a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRTKB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless networkPlease wait for one "registration" message to appear2) RebootPre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configurations for the affected email accounts.

ICloud Mail not syncing across devices

This issue has been bugging me for many months now and I have not been able to find a solution: I am an iCloud user for email etc, iPhone 4s with iOS7.0 and MBP with OSX10.8.5 and Mail 6.6. There are actually 2 issues which I would like help in resolving:
1. If I happen to notice a new email received on my iPhone and open up that new message using the iPhone, it then does not get downloaded by Mail on my MBP. If however I choose to ignore a new message in my iPhone's inbox and wait until I get home to read it using my MBP, then Mail downloads the unopened message and I can choose to read it using either the iPhone or MBP. However, new mail downloaded on my MBP and which I then open using Mail is also downloaded on my iPhone and marked as read.
2. Sent Mail is not sync'd across the two devices. I can get around this by bcc'ing myself on all sent messages.
I use IMAP and have tried some recommendations I have found on some help sites but to no avail.

Unfortunately, iCloud only pushes new mail. In iOS, it has never pushed the updated status of mail read, moved or flagged on other devices. http://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT203545
You could try switching your iCloud mail to fetch instead of push. I've never tried this, but maybe it will fetch the read status, as per the fetch schedule.

Work email not syncing with device as it should

Hello all My work email account, configured as IMAP account on my passport, is not syncing as it should. for example. if my outlook on my PC performs send/receive and mails are synced there, my device doesn't receive any emails. and if PC is off, or outlook hasn't performed a send/receive, i receive the emails on the passport. What i want done is that all mails, whether read or unread, whether synced with outlook or not, should be available on my device. and it is not happening. kindly help

Spent the whole day trying to figure it out. Still no show.
The outlook personal folder isn't going anywhere. I have outlook account set up as imap which means that emails on server are are always intact and BlackBerry should sync the inbox. But not happening.
I googled a bit and one article I found said something about bb10 not being able to get through TLS v1.2 and upgrading server to TLS v1.0, etc.
Any suggestions about that??

Emails not sync between devices.

My email do not sync between my Macbook and my Galaxy S4. For example if I read an email or delete one on my phone, it won t show on the emails in my Macbook (I use the built in app). I have to redo the action...
Anyone knows why it is doing this or what to change?

What mail provider do you have, and is it set up as IMAP in both places? POP mail will not sync.

Calendar not syncing across devices

I just found that my calenders are not syncing acros my iMac, iPad Air and iPhone 5S. Under iCloud on all 3 devices I have "Calenders" check to sync. All 3 devices have the same Apple ID (iCloud Account ID) and password. Still no luck. I'm running the latest Mavericks and iOS 7.0.4 on my iOS devices.

I have the exact same problem. How did you set your default calendars so the devices sync iCal?

Messages Not Syncing across devices with iOS 8

Hi all,
Since December 2014 and an update at that time my iMessages stopped syncing correctly.
Some messages sync some don't.
I send from my iPhone5c and it doesn't show up on my iPadAir.
Reply will go to my iPadAir and not to my iPhone5c
If one of my devices is off then no messages will go to it and it won't sync once turned back on.
I have done the: turn off iMessages, quit program, turn off devices. Restart and turn on iMessages again on devices. This hasn't fixed the issue.
My number and emails are all correct on devices. I am logged in on devices. They just adhocly sync.
Any other ideas?

They are received normally for me and everyone I know using 8.3. Are you using WiFi or cellular data? Has these devices ever been hacked/jailbroken, at any time?
If not, try these steps as needed:
Reset: press both home and lock buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears
Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Restore to factory settings using iTunes, also restoring a backup
Restore to factory settings as new, without using a backup
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

Bookmarks not syncing across devices

My iBook bookmarks have stopped syncing between my iPhone 4 and iPad 2.
I have tried turning the syncing off and on in settings but still no luck.....anyone have any ideas as it's driving me nuts ?????

Oh my oh my. Xmarks is conflicting with my OSX Safari and blocking iCloud sync somehow. I disabled Xmarks for Safari in system prefs and viola. iCloud across all devices syncing again in a matter of seconds.I was syncing Safari and Firefox.

Purchases not syncing across devices

Purchases I make on my iPad and iPhone don't appear on my PC, but they do on my other iOS devices. What's the problem here?

Where don't they appear ? If you mean that they aren't automatically download then did you have automatic downloads turned 'on' in the Store tab in the iTunes > Preferences on your computer when you bought the items ? If it was 'on' when you purchased the items on your iPad / iPhone then see if the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option downloads them - if not then see if they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading.

After downloading maverick, iCloud will not sync across my devices

Since downloading Maverick [10.9], iCloud will not sync across my devices. Mail is not working properly. I'm being asked for passwords from everything.
Also, every time I close and then reopen Mail, I get a message saying "Mail cannot connect to the iCloud account "iCloud", requiring my password, again!
Is there a solution to this? How can I find out if it's server related, etc.?

Try restarting your router and all the other devices.
