Deleted firmware on Muvo NX - need h

Hi, my daughter, 0, has a Muvo NX (28 Meg) and I was having trouble loading songs onto it. It kept saying the drive was full even though I had deleted six songs from it. No knowing what else to do, I formatted the drive. Now I find that I have deleted all the firmware and the initializer. I downloaded a firmware update but it requires that I have firmware on the player to update. It doesn't recognize that the player is plugged into the computer at all. The rescue tool I downloaded doesn't recognize that the player is present. Are there some files that I could put on the player so that the firmware update can recognize it's I know this is an old player and could be replaced quite cheaply but for a ten year old with a tendency to lose things easily, it worked quite well until I screwed it up. Can anyone help

NOMAD MuVo NX Firmware Upgrade version .30.09 (.50 MB)
To install this firmware upgrade, do the following:
1. Transfer all files from your player to your computer before installing the firmware upgrade.
2. Connect your player to your computer while pressing and holding the Play button. Keep the Play button depressed for 0 seconds after the player is connected to your computer. After releasing the Play button, a dialog box may appear, prompting you to install a Player Recovery Device driver. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the device driver installation.
3. Once the Player Recovery Device driver installation is complete, double-click the firmware upgrade .EXE file.
4. When the NOMAD MuVo NX Firmware Download dialog box appears, click the Start button.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the upgrade.
6. Disconnect your player.
Best of luck!

The seller needs to follow this procedure:

If she refuses, then as Tim suggested the iPhone is probably stolen. You'll need to contact your local police department and ask how to proceed.

OK. Now, you say you got this alert through App Store when trying to download Mavericks or after you downloaded it and were trying to install it? Which is the correct case?
The error you are getting may sometimes occur when the computer has already been updated, but I don't know why you would be getting this message. I can only suggest that you take it in for service to find out why this is happening.

To get rid of "pop-up ads and other crap on my computer when I am on the internet", click on Safari in the Menu bar, and select Preferences. Next select Extensions. Delete all of them. Restart Safari.
The first step in addressing the black screen is an SMC reset.
    Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

  • Deleted Firmware...? x.x; Oo

I think I may have deleted firmware. It was stupid, I know: what happened was that, while in Fiji, I tried to get it to work. Now, I'm just a stupid twit, alright? It was overheated - I didn't figure that out. Anyways, I think I may have deleted Firmware..
) Can I fix it on my own?2) If so, how?
    3) If not, would my warranty cover it's
    4) seeing as I got it at futureshop and I made a deal with them, would they be able to fix it (if the warranty can't cover it)? (Note: This isn't that important of a question...)
so, yeah. Please help me! I hate it when I mess these things up... but oh well. Thank you for any help at all.

Well, I can't remember what mode it went into when I deleted firmware. I had a whole bunch of options, and I just chose that one. Don't ask why - I don't know myself. I know that I saw "Delete Firmware?" and I chose that, and I put it down and let it do it's job for the night.
As for putting a new firmware on it... my computer doesn't recognize my MP3 player, at all. It constantly says "Nothing is attached." I have checked and rechecked all the connections - the only thing I can find at fault here is my MP3 Player. It's almost like I deleted it's brain....When I turn on my player, I get the Creative logo, and it does not move. You can't do anything - push buttons, turn on the backlight once that shuts off... and you can't turn it off unless you take out the battery! The only way you can get it to turn off with a battery still on it is to let it drain the battery. The good thing is is that I can recharge it easy, and when I take it off the power adapter it isn't on, and it'll stay off and with a good battery during the time.
I'm sorry if all that makes no sense to you and if I didn't answer your questions: I'm not too sure what I'm doing or talking about here. ..--Katie

  • I deleted an email account an need to recover de emails in this deleted account. is it possible?

i deleted an email account an need to recover de emails in this deleted account. is it possible?

Hi Brooks, The right way to do it is to import the photos from within iPhoto. iPhoto doesn't like it when you drop stuff in from within Finder. Ditto iTunes.
    Open iPhoto>File>Import to library...
Navigate to the albums in the deleted user folder, click 'Import'.
    Hope this helps.

  • WARNING: archive log not deleted as it is still needed

Our Oralce Database is a single node database of version 10.1.0.
Dataguard/Standby is not configured.....we are executing the following command for archivelog backup
    run
    allocate channel c1 device type sbt;
    backup archivelog all delete input;
This script is successfull in backingup all the archvied log files however it is not deleteing the input files. Instead it gives the warning....
"WARNING: archive log not deleted as it is still needed"
    What could be the problem?

If you do a Metalink seach on "WARNING: archive log not deleted as it is still needed." you'll find a couple of documents that explain the issue.
The short answer is that RMAN has backed up logs which have not yet shipped to standby, so it won't delete them, cause they're still needed till they're successfully shipped to standby.

  • My 5 year old MacBook Air is telling me it "cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn't enough space in your home folder.  Quit mail, delete files you don't need, then reopen mail."  What is "home folder," and which files to delete?

My 5 year old MacBook Air is telling me it "cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn't enough space in your home folder.  Quit mail, delete files you don't need, then reopen mail."  What is "home folder," and which files to delete? Thanks.

The home folder is where all of your personal files are kept.
Best candidates to delete are movies, videos, music and photos since they generally take the most space.
Don't forget to empry the Trash after you delete the file because the space is not returned until the Trash is emptied.

  • Need help - Error while updating the firmware of Muvo Slim using the recovery t

    Hi ,
While I am trying to update my Muvo slim firmware using the recovery tool it throwd up an error. And from then onwards if I am trying to power it up it won't.
If I again try to update the firmware, it throws up the error that "Unable to Write to Device: Device Time out".
I am afraid that my Muvo slim got bricked. Can you please help me in recovering the same.
PS: My PC OS is Windows XP.
    Thank & Regards
    ksraghava?

On my XP system, the last time I wanted to reload the firmware, I had to remove all of my Creative software programs,?and then revert my Windows Media Player back to 0 and then use The Recovery Tool. It is a bit of a pain, but does seem to work when you are getting errors with the firmware download.

Almost forgot. Make sure your player is fully charged or has a fresh battery before starting any firmware download.

  • Deleting Firmware

Hi, Im experiencing some problems with my ipod after updating to 1.2.1 i want to take it back to 1.2 but dont know how tried restoring but it didn`t help. Can anyone explain how to delete 1.2.1 firmware on windows?

AFAIK, it is OK to delete these - just don't delete the current firmware update - the version you have installed on your iPhone in case you need to restore your iPhone with iTunes.

  • Update firmware on MuVo N200 or n

    Hi there
I purchased a MuVo N200 back in January. It has the original firmware version .0.2 on it. I've been happy with the player other than the odd background noise and the fact the microphone and recording tracks options generate errors and cause the player to crash.
I'm trying to decide whether to update the firmware as the website says don't do it unless you are having problems and also from the postings on here it seems updating the firmware can cause more problems than it solves. I don't want to meddle with it if it will cause difficulties.
Can anyone advise if it is worthwhile updating the firmware and how to do this?
    Many thanks
    Alastair

The only useful feature I've gained by upgrading is the added support for folders at lower levels. .6.02 added support down to 3 levels of sub-folders - this allows syn'ing with WMP0 which uses a Music\Artist\Album folder hierarchy.
.5.0 changed the volume scale from 0-40 to 0-25 and a lot of people don't like that because is now too loud for them - I must be nearly deaf because I can hardly hear it at !
I have upgraded with every new version and have had no problems doing the upgrades. If you are worried about doing it, and don't want any of the changes, stick to the old saying "If it isn't broke, don't fix it!"
Reloading the firmware might fix some of your problems, though.
If you decide to upgrade the instructions are in the Details section of the download page. Follow them carefully.
You can also get version .0.2 here (if you need to reload your original firmware) and version ..0 here.
