Deleted Groups are visible in _layouts/groups.aspx

Hi,
I have a site collection which has around 30 groups created. These are visible when we navigate to sitecol/_layouts/user.aspx. I then deleted 15 groups using powershell (sitegroups.remove()). These disappeared from sitecol/_layouts/user.aspx, but surprisingly
these were still present when i navigated to sitecol/_layouts/groups.aspx !
How do we ensure that the groups are deleted completely from the site collection?

where even after deleting the BPM processes from PI ESR and its corresponding ID reference the processes are still visible in SXI_CACHE.
It gets refreshed automatically may be not immediately but daily , if you check the SXI_Cache after some time the deleted one will not appear.
It will be visible in SXI_CACHE,please check the return value it should be 0 not 99.
Try creating the IP with some other name , copy the existing one with new name and import in ID and try.

Navigation links are visible to all groups even after applying specific target audience group in to links at sharepoint 2010 publishing site

Any one please help me on why the global navigation links are visible to all group users even after applying a specific target audience group to the link. I Checked , User profile service and User profile synchronizing services
and they are running fine. Test environment is running fine even both the services are not running. Please let me know is any relation should be there between target audience and User profile services?
I am wondering that the Target Audience is not working in global navigation suddenly in production server and the same is working in test server.

Can't delete group by REST API

but I can't do it. I set full permission for application (I can create/update). How deleted group via REST Api?

Cannot ungroup components or delete group

Xcelsius 2008 Engage 5.1.1.0, Build Number 12,1,1,344, Windows XP SP2
All of a sudden I cannot ungroup a group of components containing a Background, a Toggle Button and a Panel Set containing a Text Label.
This same group was fine yesterday. I have closed and reopened Xcelsius several times (ensuring Xcelsius and Excel processes are dead in between sessions) to no avail. I can't delete the objects while they are in the group, but I was able to drag most out of the group. Except that the last component will not drag, since that would leave Xcelsius with an empty group.
I'm pretty sure this is tied to the other application issues I've reported already, but had to risk redundancy and post this one specifically since I currently lack a workaround (and the other reports haven't received attention as far as I can tell).

This is very helpful information, Ulrich. Until today, I actually did not realize how problematic Panel Sets were. Wish I'd seen that somewhere - I'd have stayed far away from Panels had I known what I know now.
Anyway, I'm still in trouble. I'd managed to pull everything out of the groups in question and removed all dynamic visibility for all objects that fell under these groups, but I still can't delete any of these objects or the groups they used to reside in. The groups are sitting empty, the panels are sitting empty, there is no dynamic visibility, "hide" and "lock" toggles are switched off across the board, and yet my delete attempts consistently fail.
Objects I try to delete disappear from the canvas when I hit Delete (key or context menu) but no change occurs in the Component Browser. Saving the project and relaunching Xcelsius does not have any effect. No matter what I do, the deleted components are still visible both on the canvas and in the Component Browser.
Needless to say, this is a huge problem. It looks like my only recourse is to scrap about a day's work by going to a previous save.

Why can't I delete groups in my Address Book??

I'm running Mac OS 10.7.4 on an early 2011 15" MBP.
It's not a smart group and I don't use Microsoft Entourage. I've tried the "delete" key (Fn + delete) and "Edit"->"Delete Group". It gives me the prompt "Are you sure you want to delete the group 'blah'?" Then when I hit the delete button, nothing happens. At ALL!
Oh, well, something does happen: The edit menu shows "Undo delete group" for Command-Z. And if I click it, I get another un-deletable copy of the original group.
Help?? Anybody??

If an App is compatible with an iOS device it will not be compatible with the computer. They will require different versions of an App for the different Operatin Systems.

Can't delete groups in Address Book

I have a couple of local groups in my Address Book that refuse to delete. Even though the "Delete Group" dialog pops up when I highlight the group and press the Delete-key, they are still there after hitting the OK button.
When I create new groups (plus-button) I can delete them but not some of the old groups that were carried over from an older OS version.
I have been playing around with Entourage and Outlook a lot so that might have had something to do with it.
Is there a way to modify the Address Book database directly to get rid of these groups ?
Or reinstall Address Book ?
I already tried to swipe all Address Book related plist files - that didn't do it.

Ok, I have solved the problem: I had to reset my SyncServices folder.

Hey In your first question you told that How will OIM come to know about deleted groups and now you are asking that we want soft delete in AD.
You are mixing your different requirements.
If AD doesn't support Soft Delete then you can not do anything from OIM side.
If you want soft delete in AD then you can move that group to different Organization.

YOu won't be able to delete it from your iphone. On your outlook account you'll need to create a different contact folder and move it there, then when you sync your iphone uncheck the sync for that folder you created.

Unable to delete group in address book

I am trying to delete a group in address book. I use the menu option (Edit/Delete Group) but the group does not go. The group is empty - I removed all addresses in it.
Am I missing something?

That file is in your home folder ( ~ library>preferences). That should not delete anything. However, although I move something to the trash, I wait a bit before emptying trash (you can always put something back where it came from).
OS X rebuilds preference files (plist) as needed and sets them to default values. Preference files may (rare) become corrupted and cause all sorts of problems.
You might also run repair disk from your software install DVD.

i created a form with one item which z not database item.i created lov based on query.i created a key-listval trigger for item.when i m running my form,i am getting the following error:FRM-41075:Error deleting group.how to solve this error.
actually my requirement like this,when i give 1 in text item it should get related records in LOV,IF VALUE z not found then it should search through next field in lov itself:
for example:i created a lov with empno.empname.when i give the value 1 in runtime it should invoke LOV WITH related records,if value is not found then i will give some char like S in search field in LOV itself,then it should give related records of starting with S.
please tell the steps clearly.

Do you have a record group with 'group_emp' name under record groups objects. This built in can not delete record groups created at design time(see forms online help 'delete_group').
Just try renaming your group_name varchar2(10) :='group_emp' and see

Delete Groups @ runtime

In older versions of Crystal reports RDC with VB6 there was the ability to delete a group at runtime, now with Crystal Report 11.5.net from VB 2005 I can't find a way to do that. Any suggestions?

Using the Crystal Reports .NET Assemblies, there is no option to add or delete groups at runtime. However, you can use the RAS (Report Applicaiton Server) .NET Engine to do so. See the following article:
