this was the result of my attempt to clean it looked worse
even bought a "micro-fiber" lens cleaning sheet...bought a few actually--different brands. didn't really help.

Depreciation posted for the wrong asset class

Hi Experts
An asset was posted for the wrong asset class. Invoices for this asset were already posted and depreciation was posted for several months. Now we realize the mistake and want to correct it. How can we reverse the origanl documents including the depreciation and post it to the correct asset class accounts?

Hi Ofer,
you can transfer the depreciation to the new asset. Why you want to reverse th edepreciation?
Generally depreciation can not reversed. If you want to reverse the depreciation you can enter depr. key "0000" and make a repead run. In that case the depreciation will be reversed (posted oposite) for alle open fiscal years.

Fixing transactions posted with the wrong currency rate.

Looking for the best solution to fix transactions that have been posted with the wrong currency rate. Transactions with System Currency (SC) and Local Curency (LC) have been posted with the wrong exchange rate. I am looking for best practice to corect each transactions. I have noticed and tested the "Conversion Difference" feature in SBO. This feature does help me change the exchange rate between SC and LC but for an the account balance on a certain date. I am looking to change all transactions from Jan01 to Jan 31 for all GL accounts. Is there a feature to do this?? You help is greatly appreciated,

I don't think there are any options to FIX this problem by out of the box function. Because all financial transactions have been entered to the system already, you have to reverse all of them and repost those transactions with the right exchange rate. No shortcut available.

I cant post in the .mac section

I'm trying to post a question in the .mac section and I get the error message that reads something to the effect that I dont have an Apple ID
I believe that I do I have created a name and filled out all of the forms
as well as logged on to it as I am now. so why can't I ask a question all ready...

Gnome-java Widget question (sorry if this is the wrong section)

I have created three files, yes i know naming conventions and spelling is an issue, but bare with me. I plan to clean all this up as soon as I get this issue figured out. right now I am flinging mud like a howler monkey.
File One is a test file that calls everything together:

Disclaimer: I've done no GTK programming at all.
A naive reading of both the code and the exception stack trace suggests that Navagation.Navagation() is returning the wrong thing.
The exception says that an assertoin that chile is a menu item failed.
Is a Label a MenuItem?
Unless I missed it,you are not doing anything with the menu items you create in Navagation.Navagation().

HT201272 How can I delete "purchased books" in the store section of I Books?

I have been trying to delete the "purchased books" section of I Books. I inherited this I pad and would like to clear this section as there are questionable books. I would like to delete them but don't know how. I have already removed them from showing up in my library but would like to start fresh in "stores". I do not want them available for downloading in the future.

You can't permanently delete any items from an account's purchase history, all you can do is hide items : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you log out of the existing account on the iPad (tap on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app) and then log in with your account then none of the previous owner's purchases should show.

Foreign Currency Valuation posted to the wrong account.

Dear Experts,
We set account for losses or gains from exchange rate changes for those accounts which didnt tick 'open item managment' in OBA1(Transaction : KDB).
We set different accounts for foreign currencies :EUR,JPD,USD, and for the rest of the currencies, it will post to another accounts.
But there has a docuemnt which was created by FAGL_FC_VAL, its document currency is EUR, and loal document is CZK,but it posted to accounts exchange losses/gains - other instead of exchange losses/gains-EUR wrongly.
Could you help with this ,thanks a lot!

Whenever you have a problem, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables involved.
Also post the results you want from that data, and an explanation of how you get those results from that data, with specific examples.
Simplify the problem as much as possible. Remove all tables and columns that play no role in this problem.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using.

If 'CLC', 'HBR' and 'RAB' are literal values, then enclose them in single-quotes. If you want to return a number, don't put it in quotes. (Anyhting inside single-quotes is a string literal.)
Perhaps you meant something like:

You need a FROM clause.

Ipad 3 - Can't delete tv shows from the downloads section ...

I have an IPad 3 and currently have about 10 tv shows downloading that I don't want. I was able to pause them, and now they are listed as "tap to resume download". I cannot figure out how to delete them. I've tried swiping the box but it just opens a red button that says "hide". This doesn't delete them. I've tried signing out of my account and restarting my ipad, that didn't work. I tried airplane mode and shutting off wi-fi, and that didn't work. Help!
Also, I have several apps that are trying to update but are in "waiting" mode. I can't get these to respond either. Suggestions? When I press them, it tries to update, then gives the message box along the lines of "unable to update at this time" - retry or done.

I'm not real confident that this will work, but it will not hurt. Reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that doesn't work, why don't you resume one of the TV show downloads and see if that frees up the download pipe and let's you delete the other episodes.
You could download the shows in iTunes on your computer and then sync the iPad. Delete them after they sync.
On your computer go to iTunes>Store>Check for available downloads.

IPod Service Error (I posted on the wrong board last time)

Okay, I see a lot of people are having similar problems but mine seems to be very hard to fix and I'm very very frustrated. I've had my iPod mini since late March, so it's not that old.
First, I cannot update my iPod with new songs. It says there is no iPod connected. It only charges when I plug it in directly or on the dock. Second, I have iTunes 5.0, just so you know. Third, I cannot update my iPod software. When I try to use the latest iPod updater (and even my old one), the screen freezes, and then says "iPod Service Error". Can anybody help me? I've tried everything and am really upset. Thank you!

I don't know exactly what you've done or where you've been in the process, here are a couple of items that might help. If not, and you have any more specifics of what's been happening, post back to see if someone can help.
Here is an HP document about Updating Windows 8 to 8.1 to check to make sure you're not missing anything when you're updating.
And here is a set of instructions from Microsoft to Update to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8.
If you still have issues, perhaps the exact error message would help.

How to i get m3u's to show up in the music section like they did before?

Now when you try to play an m3u it starts in the internet songs section instead of the music section like it did before, is there any way to revert it back to opening in the music section instead?

My upgrade to Photoshop Elements 12 was deleted by accident. The 2nd download doesn't want to open?

In Aug I upgraded to Photoshop Elements 12. It worked fine but this week someone worked on my PC and deleted it by accident. Now I downloaded it again but it doesn't want to open?

While you do that something to think about....putting on my Photoshop Elements 12 hat for the moment...
If you have Photoshop Elements 12 and are in its Elements Organizer 12 and you want to edit of of the Elements Organizer 12 photos in the Photoshop Elements 12 Editor, I do not
find any right clicks in that maneuver. Have you tried...
1. Select the Elements Organizer 12 thumbnail for the photo
2. Look to the bottom of the workspace to where it shows an Editor button. Click on the tiny triangle to the right of the work Editor in the button.
You should then get a pop up menu with choices of External Editor, Photoshop, Video Editor. click Photoshop. Does that work to get
you into the Photoshop Elements 12 Editor workspace to edit that photo?
