Deleted mail acct shows up as default when sending new mail

how do i delete a deleted email acct from the 'send from this acct" pop-up
after a spam scammer hijacked one of my email accts, i deleted that email acct from my rr account and from mac mail. that account no longer appears as a mail acct. but.........
whenever i initiate a new email, that deleted account always shows up as the checked default account (choose which address to send this message from)
if i check another account box, i am able to send from the desired account, but when i initiate another new msg, the default 'send from this acct' goes back to the old deleted acct.
i discovered this after finding that some emails i knew i had sent never got to the recipient.
i just now checked to see what happens when i try to send a msg using the deleted acct. when i click send, sent goes to sending, the sent mail sound occurs, the new msg window closes, and the mail appears to have been sent, but it isn't, doesn't end up in the sent folder, and is lost altogether. very annoying after composing a lengthy email msg.
i've lost some important "sent" emails because of this, and now must check the account: box everytime i send mail.
help please

Yeah, unfortunately, it appears that our forum hosts have enhanced the functionality of the discussion boards' "helpful" and "solved" buttons to the point of inoperability. I owe a few people some gold and green stars myself but can't reward them. It's been this way for at least a week, probably longer. I also like their "please contact the system administrator if the problem persists" and then they provide no clear way to do that. That's a nice touch.

Disable "Show Tab Order" default when opening document

I've been trying to figure out what I did to my installation of LiveCycle Designer but, on my workstation, it is somehow set to "Show Tab Order" by default when opening an existing PDF form for editing. This means that I have to turn off this feature EVERY TIME I open a document. It's really wearing on me as I open hundreads of PDF forms in a day's time. I'd say I've lost many hours of productivity just turning off this feature... Does anyone know how to turn off this display feature until requested?

Yes... at the moment, PDF final view control via InDesign is lacking... in fact it isn't there at all. This has to be done from Acrobat. However, it is possible to make actions in the action wizard so the process isn't so tedious. I have written about this elsewhere: See it at the final size – view size and Acrobat | Colecandoo!

How to pull up contact when sending new mail

Is there anyway to show contacts when sending a new e mail. Example on windows it will sow all contacts and then click on the ones you want to send to. Is there anyway to do this using Macbook Pro with Lion 10,7.4

NOT to detract from what Carolyn said, which is correct, but if you wanted to see everyone you ever sent to, in menu at top of page mail>window> previous recipients (you can see in vews by date,by name and you can search someone)
Also you can put folks into your address book easily if from mail>view>customize toolbar and then add to the top of an email page "add sender"

How can I set my default email address when sending new messages

I have 2 accounts in my Mail Preferences, hotmail and gmail. I have tried to set it so when I send a message to a new recipient it is my gmail one that is used as default. However, it is thehotmail account that is always ticked first.
I would like to set my mail preferences so the gmail is my default first choice in sending new messages and is ticked as my default email address.

Show bookmarks by default when opening the pdf file

I made a document with a TOC and bookmerk for pdf which worked great.
I have some pdf documents that when I open them, the bookmark panel on Acrobat are opened by default. In my document, that panle is not visible, I need to click the Bookmark icon, so it shows the bookmark panel, and so I can navigate in the document.
Is there a way to configure InDesign so that the pdf file makes Acrobat open the Bookmark panel by default, like those documents I have? It looks like to me that this is a very common resource in pdf files, most of the pdf I have opens the bookmark panel when the document is loaded.

Old email messages deleted at home show up on Laptop when traveling??

I have two new macs. I Mac at home and I book for when I travel. I have three POP Earthlink accounts and when I am gone for couple days and check the mail with Laptop....all the old messages I deleted, and removed load up and I have to wade through them again??
How can I stop this?? I think it hold true with when I return home my I Mac will also load up sveral days of old messages I deleted.

How do I make a different Mail account the default for sending new messages?

I have several email accounts in Mail. When I go to Preferences> Accounts I see them. The account on top of the list is the default one for sending mail. I want one of the lower ones instead. Can I select this or move it to the top position (if that is what gives it priority)?

Open Mail as usual and, at the sidebar, press the arrow next to "Inbox", so all your email accounts will show up under it. Simply hold the Command key and drag the email account you want to use by default to the first position. This will make it the default mail account to send emails

Hour glass showing instead of thumbnails when importing new photos

I just started using Photoshop 10. When I import photographs from my camera or from any other source, the thumbnails do not show in the catalog, I can only see an hourglass.
If I click on the hourglass, the picture opens and the picture shows perfectly, so the file is there. However when I close the picture an d go back to the "show all" the thumbnails still does not work, it only shows an hour glass.
This was not happening when I was using Adobe Photoshop 9 and I am still using the same Windows Vista computer.

Try selecting the thumbnails (Shift+Click) or (Ctrl+A) to select all, then click on the top menu
Edit à Update Thumbnail For Selected Items
If that doesn’t work close Elements and delete the thumbnail cache by navigating to:
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\MyCatalog
In side the MyCatalog folder (or whatever name you gave your catalog) you should find a CACHE file:
thumb.5.cache
After deleting that file restart the elements Organizer and wait whilst it regenerates thumbnails.
N.B. The ProgramData folder is sometimes a system hidden file, in which case please follow these instructions before starting.

Outlook 2010 Problem selecting ISP for email default when sending receiving OK

I am using Outlook 2010 for email with an ISP. Recently installed Outlook 2013 on a new laptop using the same broadband wireless router connection. The email file is showing as my ISP but in the Data files window although my ISP file appears I
cannot select it as the default it remains on the Data file with my ISP below it.
When I send an email it goes straight to the sent box but is undelivered.
I can receive email in the Inbox from other computers.
In the Email account details only my ISP appears with below it a statement that new messages will be delivered to the ISP account ending .pst
How can I make my ISP the default data file.
On my laptop Outlook 2013 has the default as my ISP account ending .ost

Based on the description, you have a pst data file in Outlook 2010 and an ost data file in Outlook 2013, I think you are probably using an IMAP account?
Please note, in Outlook 2010, IMAP data files can't be set as default, because IMAP doesn't support the special folders - calendar, contacts, tasks. Outlook needs a default data file to store these information.
This has been changed in Outlook 2013, we can now set the IMAP data files as default.

Apex 3.0 Q: "Optional Label with Help" default when creating new form?

When I create a new application, usually one of the first things I do is set the default item label to "Optional", so I don't have the annoying popup help link.
Now, when you create a new Form region, based on a table, for all the items the label is set to "Optional label with help". Am I right in hoping this is something that was overlooked when developing Apex, and that it will be fixed in version 3.0, so that it sets the items to the default label as set in the Shared Components?
And is there a way to change the labels for a lot of items at the same time, other than changing the theme templates?

AFAIK, label help in default manner is based on column coments of a table.
Later there is now way to easy reedit these values but manually...

You restore from a backup that was created after the text was received but before it was deleted.
But if you literally deleted it right after it came in, then it's not recoverable. Have the other person resend the text.

Selecting Default Calendar for New Events

Is there a way to select one of my iCal calendars to be the default when creating new events? I use one of my calendars every day using my iPhone at work for work events, and keep creating new events to the wrong calendar (which is currently set as my default)! It is very frustrating, as once the event is created, I can't change the associated calendar until I get home and can do it from my desktop.

When sending a pdf as an attachment I cannot scroll through the pdf. Nor can I look at Outlook 2010

Frequently I create a pdf and then I want to send it. After clicking send and the email pops up I compose the message. However, as I compose it, I have a question requiring me to look at the pdf. However, I can't page through the document because it's locked by Outlook. Also, I can't look at other emails while this message is open.
A workaroud is to save the document in Outlook. Then I can scroll through the pdf or view other emails but I have to go to the drafts folder and reopen the email to edit it.
What I'd really like to see is a way to set the default when sending a pdf in Outlook to have it always send a copy. That way the pdf isn't locked and I don't have to go throught this workaround. I encounter this every day. Isn't there some solution to this?

Edit>Preferences>Email accounts>List of email accounts. Click the drop-down that says "add account" and select Gmail. After adding it, you can go to the account area and change it to default.

Error when sending data request

   i have scheduled info package for different type data sources in bi 7.0, for this i am getting the data from ecc 6.0 . all of this schedule's showing the status "error when sending data request" with the following details.
status
diagnosis
the request idoc could not be sent to the source system using rfc
system response
there is an idoc in the warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ale inbox of the source system
in step by step analysis it is showing
   rfc to source system successful showing with ash status
   data selection successfully stated and finished ? show with red status
in that details tab
request : showing with green status
everything ok
extraction :showing with red status
missing messages
transfer(idocs and trfc) : missing messeges
processing(data packet) : no data
    it is showing technical status with red as processing overdue
                       processing step call to source system
   so it is showing error with 0 from 0 records.
please any body could help me for solving this error.

Seems you have connectivity issues between the Source system and Bi system.
You need to check whether you have data on R/3 side via RSA3 with Full / Delta Update Modes with Target System as your BI system.
RSA13--Source System -- Right click Connection parameters/check/Restore/Activate again Say Replicate All Data Sources (If Possible , provided if you have time because it consumes lot of time )
You need to check the tRFC Queue SM58/59 for any Stucks and WE19/20 for IDocs.
Much of BASIS Issue .
