Deleted my account. Can it be recovered?

I deleted an old account a long time ago. I got support from an "agent" using the instant messaging system that Skype has on their website where you can get help right on the spot. My question is if I deleted the account, is it possible to be recovered or is it lost? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated and thank you very much in advance.

Removing or deleting an account is a one-time, irrevocable request. You could contact Skype Customer Service to explain the circumstances surrounding why you need the account back in service, however to the best of my understanding, this is not possible.

I have changed service providers so my old email address no longer exists and i now have a new email address. I have created a new account in Mail with this new email address. I want to delete the old account in Mail but i want to keep the emails that i received when i had this account. If i delete the account, will these old emails be deleted with it?

If you delete an account and the home folder for it then yes, the emails will be gone.

Deleted facebook account, can't login anymore to cancel subscription

Hi,
I recently deleted my facebook account and totally forgot that my spotify premium account is bound to it. Now I can't login any longer with said old account, which makes sense. How do I cancel or transfer my subscription over to the new account? I already wrote to the spotify support, but only a automated message came back. I responded to that no-reply message as suggested somewhere in this forum, but nobody contacted me yet...
What am I supposed to do?

If your account was created with a facebook login (your username will be a 10 digit number) then you'll need to set up a new account, initially using a different email address) then get in touch with the account team and they'll help get things moved over. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it by email and you will hear back from one of the team shortly.
If your account was created with a spotify username and you connected it to facebook later, you just need to disconnect it from facebook - follow the steps in the first part of this FAQ.

Accidentlly deleted purchased Itunes, can it be recovered?

I accidentally deleted a bunch of songs I purchased through ITUNES from my ITOUCH when I sunk it. Is there anyway to recover these songs or am I beat?

You might want to contact the iTunes Store and ask if they will authorize another download. They are not obliged to do so but have done so in the past on a one-time basis. You can contact them here:

Setting App deleted. How can it be recover?

I am having trouble with my iphone and computer. I had to reset the computer to factory settings. All my itune stuff was gone. I managed to get back music and tv episodes, but having trouble getting back the apps and movies. When I plug my iphone into the computer it trys to delete everything on the phone. I let my 5 year old at my iphone and she deleted the settings app and the sarfie app . I have no idea how to get it back.Can someone please help!

Those apps cannot be deleted, they are part of the iOS. Press the Home button once to return to the Home screen. Swipe left to right on the Home screen and type settings into the Search facility and open the Settings app from the list that appears. Go to Settings/General/Reset and tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will always be prompted to enter the password for this ID when you update an app, regardless of whether you are currently using the ID for purchases or not. The reason you are seeing this ID when you try to update apps is that the apps were purchased using this ID. The only way to stop this is to delete these apps from your phone and your iTunes library and repurchase them using your ID.

It is my understanding that if you delete the account per the instructions below, you will be able recreate, but you will NOT have access to the prior BBM contacts.

You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

If the iPad has Activation Lock - that is, it's asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password to activate the device or to turn off Find My iPhone - then you will need that information. There's no way around it If your father can't remember the password, he'll need to recover it.

HELP Please! If I deleted one of my accounts can I restore?

I had set up 2 identities/accounts on my new macbook pro. I decided I would rather just have one combined so I THOUGHT I backed up all my info. Then I deleted the two accounts and did not ask it to save as a deleted account. Are my files associated with each account still hiding somewhere on my hard drive or are they gone forever? If they are still there, how can I get them back?

Hmm, This is more than I know how to deal with. One more question for you before I give up:).
Do you have TM backups from before you deleted those accounts? If yes, you can recover the data from there. If you don't have a TM backup (and really, you should make one!) then you are in trouble. Still, I know that it's possible to recover data in such situations but I personally don't know how. Search the forums and keep asking for help.

I deleted an user account and need to recover an iPhoto library + albums

I deleted a user - and didn't realize that my main iPhoto Library belonged to that user. I want to somehow recover the photos AND albums so that I can import them into another user's iPhoto without having to sift thru thousands of photos to repiclate the original albums.
I am both users - I just run two accounts on the same computer. I have almost all of the photos in my other user account but not my last vacation nor any album information. So I'm currently stuck with 80% of my photos and no album information until I figure this out.
The deleted user account is present and I can get a disk image of it. I just don't know how to procede. I tried dropping the album xtml file into iPhoto but that didn't work. (D'uh) Is there a fix for this?

Hi Brooks, The right way to do it is to import the photos from within iPhoto. iPhoto doesn't like it when you drop stuff in from within Finder. Ditto iTunes.
Open iPhoto>File>Import to library...
Navigate to the albums in the deleted user folder, click 'Import'.

If the account was an IMAP account your emails should re-appear if you recreate the email account. If the account was POP you hopefully have backup (TIme Machine?) you can restore the emails from.

To change it, you have delete the existing account. However you can avoid losing any pictures in the process. To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. (Camera roll photos are not effected by deleting the account.)
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.

Both accounts are completely independent from each other. In order to use the space that you have purchased for your secondary account, you must change it to become your primary account. Yes, as you said, services like photo stream only work with the primary account. Unfortunately, there is no comfortable way to just transfer data from one account to another one, but you can do it via a third party application e.g. via Dropbox: e.g. for photos: photos stored with your current primary account > manual transfer to dropbox > after you made your secondary account to the primary account, transfer the photos back to your new primary account etc.

My Calendar, Contacts, Bookmarks sync is not working. As a solution, I was told to delete account from the iPhone, reset the iPhone, create my MobileMe account again on the iPhone and select Calendar, Contacts and Bookmarks to be synced using MobileMe.
Fine, but I get a warning that all the information that I currently have in Calendar, Contacts and Bookmarks on my iPhone will be lost!!!

If the sync process is not working between your iPhone and the MobileMe "cloud", is it working properly between the Address Book and iCal on your Mac with the MobileMe "cloud"?
With a MM account, you can sync contacts and calendar events over the air, or direct with the supported applications on your compute via the iTunes sync process. You can do one or the other, not both at the same time. In order to sync direct with the supported applications on your computer via the iTunes sync process, you must turn Contacts and Calendars off for over the air syncing on your iPhone, which will remove all contacts and calendar events from your iPhone.
I'm afraid you will need to manually enter the new contacts with the Address Book, the new calendar events with iCal on your Mac.
There is an outside chance. Contacts and calendar events are included with your iPhone's backup. You can sync with iTunes to update your iPhone's backup before deleting your MM account on your iPhone - I suggest turning Contacts and Calendars off on your iPhone before deleting the account.
Follow deleting your MM account from your iPhone by restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. This should restore the contact and calendar events on your iPhone from your iPhone's backup. Follow this by syncing with the Address Book and iCal on your Mac.
There is a chance this won't work and if not, all contacts and calendar events on your iPhone will be lost in the process.
