Deleted my secruity update by accident

I guess i deleted my update and when i try to update it, it says error that its in the trash well...my trash is empty it wont let me update it! I dont know when I did it or how I did it...or even IF I did it! I put a lock on my computer so my sister wont use it but sometimes she uses it for "school" and maybe she may have deleted something important. I dont really know but I hope someone can answer my question on HOW I can install this security...

Click on the Apple in the upper left hand corner.
Click on +About This Mac+.
The next window will tell you which version OS you have.

If you backup to iCloud, your apps will be downloaded again from backup if you need to restore the device. If you backup with iCloud - your app data will be in there as well.
I have never lost anything when updating my iPad. I am updating wirelesssy right now even as I type this response. I'm typing on my computer - but the iPad is in the process of updating right now.

You want to go to iTunes version 1.2? Your iPod will not work with that old of an iTunes version.
You can just uninstall the old version. Google for the old version and install it.

It deletes the entire program (just click on the link and that is what it tells you). The only way I know to backup is to reinstall. When you say it will not print a PDF, I assume you mean create one from some other application using the Adobe PDF printer. It is probably worth trouble shooting the issue a bit as it may be a simple problem.
First, what os are you running, and if Windows xx is it 32 or 64-bit? Have you tried to print to file with the printer and then opening the file in Distiller to complete the creation? If that works, is AcroTray running in the background? You may actually have to stop it if it is and restart it (it is located in the Acrobat folder).

Here is a sequence of events I need to perform.
1) I need to update a table with the systime for a given id.
2) Commit (so that the systime is stored before I delete)
3) Once updated, delete row from that table for the given id so that the row moves to the audit table with the updated systime - added in step 2.
For this I need to keep the following things in mind:
a) Update only if that particular id (passed as IN parameter to the SP) exists. That is validate existence before updating/deleting.
Here are questions ralted to the above scenario:
1) How is this kind of validation usuallty performed?
2) Update and delete will be in 2 separate begin exception end block?

    exception
       rollback
    end;
delete...
commit
exception
rollbacl
endHowever if update fails for some reason, I do not wish to come to the delete option.
How can I take care of that?

If you update data on a table then your own session will see that data at existing on the table whether you have committed it or not, whilst other sessions will only see that data once it is committed.

What would happen if you update some data, commit it, someone else reads it in their session and then you go and delete it? They have read your updated data whereas if they do a read before you delete then it's more logical that they should have read the pre-updated data.

You need to restore the folder using the (Put back) selection (CTRL click).

Change Data Capture, insert+delete instead of update

I'm having an odd issue, that I need some help understanding. I've got a number of tables enabled for Change Data Capture, but I've noticed some behavior that doesn't make sense.
I am utilizing CDC to populate an ODS via SSIS packages, and have noticed a few instances where I'm getting a delete operation come through, but the source record still exists. In the source system, I can query 'cdc.fn_cdc_get_net_changes_...'
and see combinations of 1 (delete) and 4 (update new) for the __$operation.

This is called a deffered update. It is the way that some tables are updated - ie a delete followed by an insert.
See if the behavior still occurs when using trace flag 8201, ie

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer regularly. Your contacts will be in whatever program ( outlook, address book, etc) that you have been synxing. Sync them back.
If you have failed to sync them, then they are likely gone. You can try restoring from backup.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Deleting old iPhone Updates

My wife and I both have an iPhone 4 and we are using the same iMac with two accounts to update the Software (4.01. / 4.0.2).
The 4.0.2 - Update has had more than 500 MB in Size and iTunes downloaded it twice - so 1 GB of HDD - Space lost on that update alone.
Is there a way to delete the old Updates while of course not making iTunes forget that it is installed?

I believe it does incremental backups (only backs up changed data) so those older backup files contain data that hasn't changed since the date of the backup. If you delete them you will not be able to restore the data that hasn't changed in a while.
