Deleted My Top Rated Folder

I accidently deleted My Top Rated Folder on my laptop library. How can I recreate it? Please help. Thanks.

In iTunes at the top hit File>New Smart Playlist. Check "Match Following Rule" then make the rule as "My Rating" "Is Greater Than" "3 Starts". Uncheck "Limit To" and "Match Only Checked Songs" then put a check beside Live updating

How to Delete Top Level Folder

I have a number of files in a hierarchy of folders and I wish to delete the top level folder but leave in place all the sub folders and files contained therein. There are only folders (no files) under the top level folder. Specifically, I do not want to just select and drag and drop all the subfolders.
Any help on how to do this appreciated.

First, to clarify the term - there are traditional VS projects (C# project, VB project, etc.) and with Team Foundation there are now Team Projects. Given the question, I take it you mean team projects (as created with the "New Team Project" option and going through the Project Creation Wizard).
When you create a team project called "foo", the folder for that project (assuming you had it create a folder during the Project Creation Wizard, which is the default) will be called $/foo. Based on your question, I take it you're referring to a folder called "bar" that would be at server path $/foo/bar since it's part of the "foo" team project.
The easiest way to rename or delete such a folder would be to bring up the Source Control Explorer (View | Other Windows | Source Control Explorer) and navigate to that folder. You'll want to make sure that you have the folder in your local workspace (this is a limitation when have in V1) so you may want to right-click on "bar" and do a "get latest version" first. If you don't already have it mapped, you'll be prompt to pick a local path to map it to.
When you right-click on the folder "bar" (once you have it in your workspace), among the entries in the context menu will be Delete, Rename (for the "rename to oranges" case), and Move (for "move it to another folder"). Note that each of these pends the operation on the workspace, and you'll need to check in before the change is committed to source control.

My Top Rated Playlist Help...

I accidentally deleted My Top Rated, and when I go into Create Smart Playlist, I can't select a star rating, I can only choose Top rated then imput a number, and everytime i want to add a new song i have to change that number >_>

I have an IMac. I put a folder on the desk top and now want to delete it. The folder seems to be locked. I went to get info and tried to unlock it but still can't delete it. The folder has nothing in it. Any help would be great. Thanks

How do I delete playlist in My Top Rated?

I inadvertently (+I don't even know how!+) added several podcasts to the My Top Rated part of iTunes. I didn't want them there in the first place, and now I cannot get rid of them. I've tried the typical ways of deleting a playlist and obviously that has not worked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, troublxs2, but I must not have explained my problem very well. I have radio stations, podcasts, songs, etc. in the "My Top Rated" section of iTunes. Somehow I inadvertently added some podcasts that I do not want. I cannot get rid of them or anything else. When I right click, as you suggested, on the podcast, the menu I get does not have "edit smart playlist". Do you have any other suggestions on how to get rid of anything that is in the "My Top Rated" section? Thank you.

Deleted Playlist...Top Rated/Top 25 etc etc...

Accidentally deleted My Top 25 Rated playlist in Itunes. Is there any way to recover this ??? I can't find it in Itunes Prefs or anywhere else. I would think it would just be a simple setting but i can't find it anywhere....Recently Added/Top 25 Most Played have been deleted too....Anyone know how to recover these playlist??

Trying to install search add-ons (top-rated, safe). I click install, restart and nothing happens. They do not appear in the search plugins folder.

Starting up with a new computer, I've been trying to install two search engine add-ons: easy youtube video downloader and
search IMDB. They are top rated so presumably safe and approved. I go through the whole process of installing them, and restart Firefox as instructed but nothing happens. I looked in the search plugins folder in Firefox (Program Files). I can see the search add-ons that were there when I first started on this computer, but none of the ones I'm trying to add are there. I've gone around and around on this repeatedly with no success. Please help.

Addon search engines aren't in the Firefox program files \searchplugins\ folder, they are in the \searchplugins\ folder in the user's respective '''Profile''' folder.

As I understand it Robo doesn't really 'do' third-party
source control. We use SourceGear Vault, but really only as a
repository for the files. We can't really work concurrently because
Robo needs exclusive access to the top level project files. But it
kind of works for us, because we're on opposite sides of the globe.
I see what you're saying on the 'local' versions of (say) the
cpd files conflicting. If anyone else has an informed view, I'm all
ears. We've set it up this way ourselves - I don't know of anyone
doing the same. If someone tells me this is a bad idea, I'm happy
to think again.

Under "contacts" "Groups" I have the "All Contacts" option at the top, underneath that i have 3 empty subfolders that have come in from my PC Outlook program. I've deleted these from Outlook, shut Outlook down, shut iTunes down, re started both programs and re synced my iPhone4 and iPhone5. They are still on the iPhone 4, just given to my wife, but have disappeared from my iPhone 5!

I'm trying to clean up my mailbox and when I delete an item(s) I get a message that say's "operation could not be completed- file exists. Further, when I do this one message is copied (not deleted) to the trash folder. Can someone help me through this?

It's a POP account. I decided to clean up my mailbox today after noticing the computer was real slow after USA Today started sending their daily top stories with new graphics. Also before I noticed the problem with mail deletion - two things happened. 1) I updated security sofware as prompted by Apple and 2) downloaded Mackeeper and went throught some preliminary scans but did not buy their package. There is no built-in feature that lists songs based on ratings.
However, you can do a lot of interesting stuff using +Smart Playlists+ in iTunes, and those playlists will show up on your iPod when you sync.
So, assuming what you want is to create (and maybe sort) a list, based on the songs you have rated highest...
In iTunes, select
menu bar -> File -> New Smart Playlist
In the Smart Playlist editing window, check +Match the following rule+ and make the rule
Rating is *five stars*
or if you want four and five stars
Rating is in the range *four stars* to *five stars*
or if you want any song that you have rated
Rating is greater than *zero stars*
or any way you desire, so that the songs you want are selected based on ratings. If you want to do something more complex, you can add a second rule by clicking on the plus sign.
Leave the other settings as they are, unless you want to do something like limit the number of songs on the playlist.
After setting up the Smart Playlist, if you want to sort it based on ratings, so that the 5 stars are at the top (for example), make sure Ratings is one of the columns in the playlist's list view (add it if it is not one of the columns), and click the Ratings column heading to sort by ratings.
Then sync the iPod to get this playlist on your iPod. The playlist will show up under Music -> Playlists. Note: Smart Playlists just act like regular playlists on the iPod, so if you change a song's rating on the iPod, the playlist will not get updated until you sync the iPod to the computer and that rating is updated in your iTunes library.

MY TOP RATED

I love the MY TOP RATED feature on the nano - however, when I go to songs and reduce the rating, they still appear on "my top rated". . . how can i take them off of here? I still want them on my ipod, just not top rated anymore

I think that if you go to "MY TOP RATED," click on the song you don't want in there once, go to Edit, and click on Delete, you will be able to delete the song from that section, but it will remain in your library!

Importing Top Rated into iTunes

I had my playlists on my external hard drive they transferred fine into an empty iTunes. They were XML files.
When I imported my Top Rated XML file it read blank after I got it into iTunes? Why?

i think i may know why i'm having a problem with only Top Rated.
i dragged and dropped my itune folder into my external hard drive.
i didn't do that one step where i tell itunes to read my music from my external hard drive. maybe that's why the Top Rated info was lost.

Hello guys, i dont know how my top rated playlist was deleted from my itunes, now i cant plug my ipod to sync with mu itunes because my top rated play list will be deleted,I thougt that play list was undeletable but it disapeared from my itunes.
Please help me how to get that playlist back again.

The iTunes Top Rated playlist was simply a Smart Playlist. You can recreate it, here are the parameters:
Open a smart playlist and put a check mark in the first box (match the following rule)
Then from the pull down menus, choose the following:
-Rating
-Is greater than
-Three Stars
and then a check mark in "Live Updating"
(This is the generic iTunes version of this playlist.) Of course, you can tweak this to make it fit your parameters better. Good luck!

'my top rated' missing

On my itunes for mac, under the playlists, there use to be a label 'my top rated', now this is gone, how did it get removed? and how can I get it back? I have not had any problems with my computer, and no problems with itunes, so don't understand how this feature went missing?? Thanks!

I find that at least with my older version of iTunes it is too easy to accidentally delete a playlist when it is highlighted and you hit "delete" thinking you have a track highlighted instead.
My Top Rated is a smart playlist which you can create yourself:
File > New Smart Playlist
then set Rating Is Greater Than [select number of stars; in my list it is default to 3]
