Deleted photo stream but saved the photos in a new album

hi i deleted my photo stream but saved the photos in a new album in my ipod touch but when i deleted it the photos are cannot be found! are there any chance to get those photos recovered? really need help with this. thanks!

No. Since when you create photo albums by using photos from PhotoStream the album only is a pointer to the photo ub PhotoStream
How do I delete photos from My Photo Stream?
You can delete photos from your photo stream the same way you delete other photos from your iOS device or Mac. Just select the photos you want to remove, then tap the trash icon or click Delete. On your PC, select the photos you want to remove from your photo stream, right-click, then select delete. When you delete a photo from My Photo Stream on one device, it will be removed from the Photos tab and your albums and iCloud. Photos imported from My Photo Stream to other devices won’t be deleted. If you sign out of iCloud or turn off My Photo Stream on an iOS device, all the photos in the My Photo Stream album are removed from that device. Photos from My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days from the date you uploaded them to My Photo Stream. Open Keychain Access in Utilities, use Keychain First Aid under the Keychain Menu item, then either check the Password under that item, change it, or delete it and start over. See if there are duplicates, should be one for Incoming & one for Outgoing.

To my knowledge, pictures in photo stream stay there untill there is more than 1000 of them, then after that the oldest ones are removed from photo stream. If your photos have synced to your devices via photo stream or manual syncing they will be there until you elect to delete them.

At 1.3GB available, your storage space is getting very thin no matter what you do further. As long as you have the photo's in the camera roll saved on your computer you can delete them. Just make sure first that they are in your photo software. If updating in iTunes, just backup/sync first, then update, and that will save the camera roll in the backup as well.
At only 1.3GB you eventually are going to find yourself unable to install or update some app, or unable to take any new pictures, or some other limitation that will force you to free up space anyway. So now, before updating, sounds like a good time to make sure everything is backed up or stored somewhere else, and clean house a bit, then update.

How does photo metadata get uploaded to shared Photo Stream along with the photos?

Performed upgrade to Mountain Lion so I could share Photo Streams with other people,. Trouble is all the naming, descriptions, locations of the photos do not show up in Photo Stream. Is there a way to enable this or is it just not possible?
I am migrating from sharing Picasa Web Albums to Photo Stream and would like to have all the metadata along with the photos...
I was not sure where to post this question as it is related to iCloud, iPhoto, OS X Mountain Lion, etc. The shared Photo Stream feature appeared in my version of iPhoto '11 (version 9.4.2) only after the upgrade to Mountain Lion.

Photo Stream only uses the file names and what you're changing is the Title, not file name. To get the title to be the file hame you have to export the photo out of iPhoto via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu with the option to use the title as the new file name.

If I get this right, an event basically equals every unique import of photos. Yet what am I to do if I dont want an event for every import, most especially when people email me one photo that i save to iphoto, that to me isnt a event. I spent hours upon hours creating 'albums' of what have now been coined my events.....so how do i take all the contents of one album that i created in iLife '07 and turn it into an event, even if the photos could have come from various imports along the way? iLife is telling me it's impossible, but there has to be a work around.
So basically I want to be able to delete events, but not it's photos.
And how do I turn my previous albums from iLife '07 & that include photos from various imports to one event in iLife '08.

Not quite. Events are NOT albums, they are an updated version of the Rolls feature in v6. As with v6, every import created a Roll, but you can move pics between Events, create and edit them and so on, just like you could with Rolls. Your albums are not affected by this activity.

How to delete an event, but not the photos

hello. i imported a few photos from my iphone 4 to iphoto and it created an event. i dragged and dropped those photos to a specific album on iphoto which is the only place i want them. i then deleted the newly created event but the photos disappeared from that album i put them in as as well. how can i prevent this from happening? thanks.

You can not, of course, do that
Events is one view of the photos in your library. Photos is another
Albums are pointers to photos in your library. You can remove photos from albums without removing the photo but you can not remove the photo without removing it. Removing a photo obviously removes it from all views

If you edit photos in iPhoto, will Photo Stream (iCloud) update the photos on your other devices?

Am I dreaming or will Photo Stream (iCloud) update photos on my Macbook when I edit them (enhance, crop, rotate, etc) on my iMac (automatically or otherwise)? If so, do I need to do anything besides the basic Photo Stream setup to make this happen? The movie on Apple's site about iCloud seems to imply this is true, but it's vague. I'm unable to find anything about this in the small amount of Help articles about iCloud. Thanks for any help.

Deleting condition formats but saving the contents

I hope someone from Adobe is monitoring this list, as there is lots of stuff that requires either more work on the ExtendScript coding or on the documentation.
I have almost finalized my conversion from unstructured FrameMaker documents with lots of conditional texts to structured FrameMaker, in which attributes take over the role of the conditions. I now want to delete the condition formats but keep the contents. This is possible via the menu: when I delete a condition format, I get a dialog that allows me to keep the content as unconditional text instead of throwing it out. Guess what ? The Delete() method for a CondFmt object does not take any arguments, and the default method is throwing out the content.
I can do a TextSelection on everything in the document and apply unconditional formatting to it, but that does not include the text in tables. And it is a hassle, as there should really be a way to tell the Delete() method for CondFmt what to do with the content. The options in the dialog should be available via ExtendScript somehow.

This problem has been driving me crazy for weeks, and I'm pleased to finally declare victory.
The main snarl I ran into was the propVal.osval, which uses an (undocumented) array data type named Objects to hold the CondFmt objects, and it has no constructor, so it's not easy to reset. You can reset the isval all day long without effect, and building your TextPropVal from scratch has a nasty habit of crashing Frame. It's late here, so please excuse the uncommented code, but the following will make all text in your main flow unconditional, allowing you to delete your CondFmts without deleting the text.

Was having problems with my 4S, took it to the Apple store the recommended a complete restore so I backed up my photos to icloud via photo stream but once the phone waas back up and running the photos arent there. Any help is appreciated

If you had Photo Stream enabled with your iCloud account settings on the iPhone, photos in the Camera Roll should have been transferred to your photo steam automatically when the iPhone was connected to an available wi-fi network.
Your photo stream is not available when logging in with your iCloud account with a browser on a computer.
Why were the photos in the Camera Roll deleted?
Photos/videos in the camera roll are included with your iPhones backup. If your iPhone's backup has not been updated since the photos were deleted from the camera roll, you can try restoring your iPhone from the backup.

There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts, tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right.
