Deleted PO printing

We recently upgraded our patch level on ECC 6 to SP16.  Now, PO's that are deleted before getting released are printing out.
We have MN05 set up for particular scenarios.  However, the PO should not print until it is released. Our scenario is as follows:
1.  PO is created and put on hold (for investigative purposes)
2.  PO is then deleted and removed from held status; PO is never sent through workflow
Prior to the upgrade, the messages screen would have a red dot for the print job.  Now, it shows a green light and does actually print.  This is not good since we have some situations that may either print directly at the vendor location or faxed to them.  There are no indicators on the PO that the item(s) were deleted.
I have sent a message to OSS but have not heard back yet.  I'm hoping someone on the forum may have encountered the same issue and had a resolution.
I confirmed that the scenario above works correctly in our non-upgraded system.  I have a temporary workaround right now but this is not the best solution (put the PO back on hold after deleting the lines; then save the PO).
Monique

I have sent a message to OSS since it is obviously a bug.  However, I have not heard back from them.
I was hoping someone else on the forum had encountered the same issue and had a resolution.
UPDATE:  Still working with OSS.  They wanted me to change the form to MEDRUCK first.  However, our Z form works OK in other clients prior to the patches.  I have also found that the Z form works as it should in our Dev client, but not QA or Production.  If anyone has had experience with this problem, please let me know how to fix this.

  • Deleting all print jobs on a computer with network accounts

In a school environment, we are using a network server with individual student accounts. Is there a way to delete all print jobs for all users on a given computer? I can reset print system and it only clears the print jobs for that single user.

System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print
    Click: Open Print Queue
You should be able to delete print jobs from there.

  • How to delete/remote printer per computer?

    Hi,
    We are having a problem.
Situation : We have a Mac server on 10.6.8 tight to AD.  We have about 1000 Mac clients connected to it.  We push printers to them via that server (bonjour, IP and Windows).
Problem : when we want to remove/delete a printer from the list of available printers for a specific group, that won't work.  It's deleted on the server, it's not there anymore, but the users still has it.  I made lots of research on that, but the community is so small that I can't find an answer.  I spent lots of hours already on trying to find a solution by myself by tweaking Cups and see with a script how I'll manage that.
Question : why when we delete a printersfrom the server that action is not sent to the users.  To me, it's a bug and a good one.
The only solution right now for us when a printer needs to be remove is to go in each and every single computers.  Which is not acceptable and that's the reason why we bought a Mac Server; to have a much as we can automated and I can tell you guys that Apple left the IT admin behind on many points.  Many of the little feature that should work like : "Allow user to modify the printer list".. not working..
    Thanks for your help!

Open System Preferences > Print & Scan > Print
Select the printer on the left then click -    (minus)

  • Since upgrading to Mavericks, my Canon MP980 printer no longer works. I've tried deleting the printer and adding it again. the process ends with my mac saying the software is not currently available from the software update server.

Since upgrading to Mavericks, my Canon MP980 printer no longer works. I've tried deleting the printer and adding it again. I've downloaded the driver software from Canon. My Mac dropbox tells me "the selected printer software is available from Apple", but when I click to download it, the process ends with my mac saying the software is not currently available from the software update server.

Open Finder and click on Go > Go to Folder. Then type
    /Library/Printers/Canon
and press Enter. This will show the BJPrinter and iJScanner folders. You could try moving or trashing this folder and then installing the driver that you downloaded from Canon again.

Well I have always had a printer icon in the Dock, launched or not launched (as in the screen shot below,) right next to the scan icon. Neither of which are launched at the present time.

  • Cannot Delete Adobe Printer

On Vista Ultimate x64 machine, I cannot delete the Adobe printer.
Adobe Professional 8.1.2 - I uninstalled it, since it was unable to convert anything into PDF.
There is a job stalled in the print spooler that cannot be deleted, no matter what.
I've tried stopping the spooler service, but then I cannot an error message that I can't delete the printer, until that service is running again.
When I run the spooler service, I get an error message that says I can't delete the printer or its drivers, because the print job is still running.
I cannot seem to delete the print job.
My aim is to delete the printer, then reinstall Adobe, in the hopes it will again convert to PDF.
    Any suggestions?
. . . you pay hundreds of dollars and the software won't work. Am I actually one of the few people attempting to run Abobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.2 on a Vista x64 machine?

I was, at last, able to delete the printer. Then, I uninstalled Adobe Pro. A couple of days later, I reinstalled it. Upgraded to 8.1.2. When I ran a couple of documents through, I found that it would only convert to PDF if I used the Acrobat PDFMaker toolbar.
Unfortunately, I also tried to convert using the printer. Now I've once again got documents stuck in the printer. They won't complete, won't end, won't delete.
8.1.2 doesn't work entirely for me. Woe be it to someone who attempts to convert by selecting the Adobe printer; they might find they've got documents stuck, as do I.
Any suggestions as to how to delete those documents that are stuck? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall Adobe everytime this happens?
CutePDF is looking more attractive, for converting to PDF. . .
With all this grief, I'm now supposed to upgrade to Adobe 9?!
Oh, and I am running Vista Ultimate x64 SP1.

  • Yosemite install deleted files from Time Machine!!  Yosemite installation deleted a printer application.  Went into Time Machine to restore the printer app and it was gone!  Now I wonder what else is gone.

Installed Yosemite on iMac desktop.  Made sure I backed up and disconnected external hard drive.  Yosemite deleted a printer/scanner application.  Went into Time Machine to restore it and it was gone.  When external hd was remounted Yosemite went into it, probably to index, and deleted the application from all backups.  Wonder what else is missing??    Besides being unbelievably SLOW now I have to see what else has been lost.

Can you simply navigate to your Time Machine backup with the Finder? Treat it like an external hardrive and just look for your old Applications folder. /Applications/
Also, quite a few apps put config and support files in ~/Library/Application\ Support/
So you may be able to get the files from there as well.

  • How to completely delete a printer driver

I can't access the "manual Feed" option in my print dialog. There isn't one. Yet, the literature says there is. And without it, I can't print on CDs—I get a paper jam error every time. So I've begun the long process of deleting the driver for that printer so I can re-load it fresh.
Problem is I can't make it go away. What little pieces do I have to trash before my computer forgets this printer exists? I've dumped the .plist files and deleted the printer from my Printer Setup Utility and have restarted. But each time I go back to the print dialog, there it is again. It's like a bad stray cat that keeps showing back up at your front door. Help!

    What brand/model is the printer?
When you trash a preference file (.plist), a new file is created when the app is activated. You may have to reload the printer driver.
Something that might work. Tape a letter size piece of paper to the back side of the CD. Then feed it into the printer. It might keep the printer from detecting an "undersize" (i.e., the CD) item & getting the error/jam message.

  • How to delete a printer update for a printer I don't own anymore?

I had, at one point, an epson printer, but now I do not own it anymore, but my computer continues to try and get me to update the driver every other day. I have gone into the library and deleted the printer, I have searched through application support and haven't been able to find any more existing data from epson, so I am wondering what I am missing in order to get my Mac to stop trying to get me download an update that I don't need. How do I tell my computer that I truly don't need this driver any more?

I have an IMac OS Lion.  After accidently deleting the printer I have reset the printing system, and plugged the printer in again, and hoped the computer would recognize it, but no it didn't.  Now what do I do to get the printer back again?

    Hello.
You'll probably have to add the printer again. You can do it like this:
System Preferences > Print & Scan. Click on the '+' icon and choose your printer.
