Deleted Safari *HELP PLEASE

I appear to have accidentally deleted safari from my powerbook. How can I download a version to run on my computer.

p.s It should work perfectly of course it is depending on what was wrong
with Safari if there is a corruption in the preferences files, a new app won't help you will need to troubleshoot it.

Follow the instructions from the Custom installs in Mac OS X 10.4
Apple document. See if you can get a discount for being a student
when you purchase the disks, also check the links in my other post.
No, none of the other applications will be affected.
Make sure to run "disk permissions repair" before and after the install, see this Apple's docAbout Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature
Read this on the difference disk permissions repair versus Disk Repair.

Mail won't upload? and messages won't delete? HELP PLEASE!

hello, i have no idea how to use this discussion board, but my mail on my mac will not upload/recieve new mail. i have clicked and refreshed the 'get mail' button and nothing happens. sometimes beside the inbox tab a triangle appears with an exclamation point and it has a message saying mail can't be recieved. Also, i composed a message with picture in it, and the message was too big, so i decided to just not send it, and a tab labeled "on my mac" has a tab underneath of it labeled 'recovered messages' and the email i composed with pictures appeared in that like an inbox 26 times. they won't delete and neither will my trashed emails. help please!!

Deleting Safari History, Please Help!

Just upgraded to 3GS. My old 3G if i deleted History, Cookies and Cache, powered down then up, all my history was gone. With the 3GS, I do the same and although the history folder is empty, the back arrow at the bottom of the safari screen simply takes it back to the last page you were on?? On the other phone the back arrow was greyed out.... Any ideas anyone? If I delete history shouldn't everything be deleted other than the very last page I was on?

Youtube will not load in Safari - help please

I can get to the Youtube site with no problem, but no videos will download/play. Instead, the screen sticks on "loading" and the spinning ball. Firefox works fine. For Safari 5.0.3 I have tried suggestions from this forum to include deleting Youtube cookies, uninstalling and reinstalling Flash, and turning off and then on Firewall. Suggestions please .

Virus Barrier ... that has to be it. I've seen instances where a/v software didn't cause a problem for Firefox but it does for Safari. Safari being a much more secure browser.
Try disabling VB to see if it makes a difference.

Safari help please

Hi, ever since this new update, I've got these little thumbnails or boxes on my homepage. Meaning when I click on safari , it brings me to the homepage with places I don't even remember going to. Some look like bookmarks, but I can't seem to find where I can get rid of them and stop this from happening in the future. I have gone and tried to clear everything in settings but they are still there. I held on them thinking they would be like the apps and just delete , but nothing. If anyone knows how to get rid of these , I'd really appreciate the help....thank you in advance...

Sorry to hear what happened to you...
You can only get them back if you any type of backup equipment.
If not, you're in serious trouble. Then the only thing you can do is to ask Apple a re-download. They will probably refuse to give you, but will not losae anything. Click on the following link and explain what happened to you:

There are no updates to either OS 10.5.8 or Safari 5.0.6.
If you need a later version of Safari you must first upgrade your operating system to a later version of OS X.

As with the Mail app on a Mac, the iPhone's Mail app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which is separate from the address book or contacts. The email address autofill feature when addressing an message pulls from Contacts and from the list of previous recipients.
Different from the Mail app on a Mac, there is no access to the list of previous recipients with iOS on an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to remove a previous recipient from the list, or to add a previous recipient to the address book or contacts that is not already entered - not at the present time anyway.
The only way to purge the list of previous recipients at the present time is by restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, which will start being re-populated again with every sent message.

I don't know why it stopped working but it happened a month or two ago but the option on this phone that's usually all the way to the left when you select your device but now its not and I don't know what caused it. ive already tried troubleshooting my problem but have found no help.
