how can i add back the recently added section from the source without reinstalling itunes thanks in advance....

Ok that is easy.
1) File > New Smart Playlist.
2) Make sure match the following rule is checked
3)The first drop down change to date added.
4)Set the second drop down setting
5) Enter the number you want based on step 4
The rest of the check marks are up to you but make sure "Live Updating" is checked.
Take some time playing around with the smartlists. I love them!! I have a 2 level smartlist at work, I hardly use the regular playlists.

When I download music into Itunes on my PC, every song is transferred into a specific playlist. Twice now when I have opened up Itunes, all the recent songs that have been moved into playlists have been deleted by Itunes. I now have to go back and figure out which songs are missing and re-add them. It is driving me crazy. I have 10,000 songs and now have no idea which ones are missing and which ones have been retained.
Please help. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks, it works but the settings are confusing. All I want is to make sure that whatever I download gets updated.
"A new smart playlist which lists items added in the last 2 weeks"... where do I specify this and I don't see anything that allows to include or exclude podcasts or whatever you choose to include/exclude?...

Can i restore the 'recently added' button in the sidebar of iTunes?

It happend that I accidencially erased the 'Recently Added' button from the sidebar in iTunes which is a bit of a dissaster for me as I often add mp3's from musicproductions elsewere. It makes it quite difficult to find the songs without that button.

Currently there is no option to delete print jobs from the "View Job History" section of ePrintCenter.

If you are asking what happens when you delete an iCloud backup, it only deletes the backup from your account. It won't do anything to the data on your phone or in your iCloud account. If you don't need to backup you can delete it. (If you no longer want to back up your phone to iCloud, turn iCloud backup off in Settings>iCloud>Backup. Then your phone will back up to your computer each time you sync it with iTunes.)

Another way is to open your Time Machine back up or clone (if you have one) and copy the App Store app from the /Applications to your Macintosh HD's /Application folder.
Right click on the Time Machine icon in the Menu Bar.
Select Enter Time Machine; then navigate to a date you know it was still there and copy if from the /Applications folder.

Try running these songs through MP3 Validator to see if there any issues.
If nothing else, convert them to another format such as AAC via iTunes using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Possibly through a data rescue service (can cost a four-figure amount) if you didn't have an external backup.
But you must stop using that Mac immediately, or your data will be over-written.

First make sure you are searching the name correctly.
If the app is no longer in the App Store it is no longer available for download. This happens when Apple has found the app violates the agreement with the developer or when the developer no longer wants the app listed in the App Store.
If the app is truly no longer in the App Store your only option is to copy it from iTunes on the computer you normall sync with.
