Deleted These NFS services, how to add them again

I need to add these services back again under solaris10 control, how to achive this

These services are NFS Server, Lockd and Statd. You can find them in the SUNWnfscu package, which you can reinstall with #pkgadd.
Btw what's the point of performing actions like svccfg delete ? If you dont want a service running just put it offline, but never (!!!) delete something when you dont know exactly what you are doing.

The Time Capsule drive is a network drive. You have to mount it on the desktop before you will be able to drag/drop files onto the disk. More tips are in this thread:

The Time Capsule was designed for your backups.
If you move a file to the Time Capsule drive and delete the file from your Mac.....you have no backup.
Your only copy of the file will be on the Time Capsule drive. I would only do this with files that I could afford to lose.
All drives fail. When.....not if....the Time Capsule drive has a problem, you will lose your data.

IOS6 loaded and now none of my bookmarks are showing in Safari and when I try to add them again it won't let me. Am using iPad2

Ok I read some of the other posts and restarted the iPad which seems to have solved the issue temporarily. Is there likely to be a fix for this in the near future?

Wireless MacBook Pro to wired C7280: Deleted offline printer queue, can't add printer again

I posted about a year and a half ago about connectivity problems with our C7280 all-in-one, and PrintDoc gave me some great suggestions to get me back on line again--thanks again!
I've had problems off-and-on again, but I've been able to get back again until now, and I can't get the usual tricks to work.
Here's our set-up:
Printer: Photosmart C7280 All-in-One, connected to network via Ethernet, static IP address 192.168.1.200 (confirmed via printer's display as well as the printer's web page)
Router: Verizon/Actiontec MI424-WR (Verizon FiOS) with
* Ethernet ports
* 802.11b and 11g with WPA encryption
My Laptop: MacBook Pro, Mac OS 10.6.8, wireless connection
Every now and then, the printer goes off-line. (Our cordless phones and our WiFi occasionally hit the same channels, and our printer hiccups seem to happen after WiFi hiccups. My theory is that a WiFi hiccup somehow screws up the print queues, possibly if it happens in the middle of a print job. Haven't been able to prove it, though.) I'm usually able to fix it by cycling power on the printer and/or resetting the print system (by right-clicking the list of printers in the Print & Fax window).
That's not working this time. I reset the print system, but when I try to add a printer, I don't see my printer in the Add Printer dialog.
I've tried various combinations of:
Cycling power on the printer (sometimes by cycling the power button off and on, sometimes by unplugging the power cord while powered on, and sometimes by unplugging the power cord while powered off)
Resetting the print system again (sometimes by itself, sometimes followed by log off/on, sometimes followed by reboot)
Powering down the Mac, then the printer, then the router, then powering them back up in reverse order.
But I still can't see my printer in the Add Printer dialog.
Somewhere along the way, I tried following the Mac OS 10.6-10.7 instructions from here:

...but Solution 1 assumes that the printer queue is still there; unfortunately, I'd already reset the print system by then.
Since I'm using OS 10.6 which already has the printer drivers built in, I'm assuming that I can't uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers as in older versions of Mac OS X. (Er, right?)
The long-term solution (if my theory is right) is to get cordless phones that don't use the WiFi frequencies :-) In the meantime, are there any tricks I'm missing?

Today I tried to "add printer" again...and lo and behold, there it was!
I wish I could tell you what fixed the problem, but I haven't got a clue.

This App Cannot be Deleted... as is the same for any pre-installed iOS App... It's probably just Hiding from you...
Check in All Folders and on All Pages/Screens...
Check in Restrictions...
Settings > General > Restrictions
If no joy...
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen

Fonts. How to add them to Fonts "Basket of Fonts" on toolbar

In Pages (Wordproceesing mode) there is a tab at the top (toolbar ??) labelled Fonts.
I have about 6 font types in there now but how do I add more ? Where are they stored and how do I place them in there.

The minimal set of fonts delivered by the operating system is larger than 50 and we aren't allowed to remove them.
Iwork install its own set of 25 ones.
Users are allowed to install fonts in two folders

Maximum number of phone numbers in a contact, and how to add them easily...

1. Does anybody know what the maximum number of phonenumbers you can have in a single contact (iPhone 3G)?
I have a database of telemarketers numbers that I would like to add under a singel contact, put that contact on a silent ringtone, and that way not hear when these folks try to call me. The database contains over 5000 numbers, so I'm not sure if I can have that many numbers under a single contact...
2. What's the easiest way to add several numbers to a contact? Is there a program that allows you to add a lot of phone numbers to on contact easily?
I have tried with Windows Contacts and Outlook, but they seam not to be able to handle more than a few (4-6) numbers per contact, even though manualy adding numbers I have 9 numbers under a "Do nt answer" contact. But adding 5000+ numbers manualy in the iPhone is not an option...

I don't think you can do it any way but manually as your right outlook has a limit on number of Phone numbers. Does Norway have a do not call register? this would be a simpler way of getting rid of tele-marketers.

Why do i keep getting these errors and how to fix them?!?!?

first time i tried inserting a spry data set using a XML source i got the message "expected equal sign(7,10)". since i could not figure out how to fix it a started a new. this time i am getting the message "unterminated entity reference, 'm'(25,27)". i really want to get the 2nd message fixed because the xml sheet is exactly how i want it.
also is there a place where i can look up what all these messages mean and get a clue as to what is wrong?

De-select the audio book as an item to sync, then sync. It will be removed.
Delete the audiobook from itunes, then sync. It will be removed.

"Apple sync services deactivated" - how to activate them again?

I tried out Spanning Sync so I can keep my calender and contacts in sync with my android phone (google account), and it worked - until I somehow turned off the Apple iSync application which still tried to sync with my old phone over bluetooth. I wasn't able to remove the old device, so I deactived it.
Now... sync with Spanning Sync doesn't work anymore. it just says "Waiting for Apple Sync Services". How do I active it again??

alright... I am sorry for being so idiotic. I totally forgot that iSync is an app and not a system preference, I kept searching there. I started the app, opened the preferences and turned it on again. Now Spanning Sync works.
I still have the problem that I can't remove my old device, but that's a different problem.

If Viber messages are included with your iPhone's backup and I believe they are and your iPhone's backup was updated to include the messages prior to the messages being deleted, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup. Do not update your iPhone's backup prior to doing so.
Have you checked Viber's customer/technical support via Viber's website?

Web links, how to add them in QT

I've tried several times to insert a web link in a QT movie clip (with Premiere)
but all unsuccessfully. I used the "sequence marker" command and I
inserted the URL and the target values in the proper fields. Then I
exported in QuickTime (.mov) .
But the files doesn't open any web browser window! Nor the link is visible (like a subtitle or something like a changed cursor) during the playback of the clip.
I tried to load those clip files into a web browser (with an HTML page) to check
whether it could depend on it but ... nothing... the web link inserted
in the clips don't work! Anyone can help me!?!?

Made on a Mac and only 29KB's in file size. Click on the movie during playback and it will launch your default browser and send you to my "book" page.
I used Automator to add the URL link but you can do the same with AppleScript or QuickTime Pro.
Windows users need not try the link as the file uses Quartz Composer (.qtz) not supported by your OS.
