Deleted user able to login to Oracle BI Publisher Web, Presentation Service

Hi All,
i have chosen "Oracle BI Server" as my security model and everything is working fine, i had to delete a user, i deleted the user from RPD, deleted user from Presentation services from "Manage Presentation catalog users and groups" and restarted services: Oracle BI Server, Oracle Presentation server, Oracle Java Host, OC4J.
after restart i am able to login into both presentation services and Oracle BI Publisher web, do i need to do anything more to restrict access to the deleted users.
Thanks and Regards,
Sreekanth.

If you are using BI Server for the security, then it is maintaining the users and what they can get to. You might clear browser caches and ensure you bounce the BIP server.

  • Not able to access the Oracle I/PM web client.

I have started the Administration server and the Oracle I/PM Managed Server. Now I'm trying to access the Oracle I/PM web client at this URL: http://hostname:16000/imaging. But when I hit this URL, the following error comes up:
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

    Hi Srinath,
I have checked that as well, it is showing the IPM_server in running mode.
Also it doesn't show any deployment failure in the command line. Here is what it shows:
    <May 20, 2013 10:32:51 AM IST> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000332> <Started W

    <May 20, 2013 10:32:52 AM IST> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <BEA-000360> <Server st

I feel there is some issue as this log is suggesting:
    ####<May 20, 2013 10:32:53 AM IST> <Info> <WebService> <01hw311161> <IPM_server1> <[STANDBY] ExecuteThread: '1' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<anonymous>> <> <> <1369026173782> <BEA-220103> <Async web service support is not fully configured. Hi,
Please check if you have started the Oracle BI Java host service.
Check if the OC4j is started.

  • Webapplication users are not able to login

    Hi
I am having windows 2012 domain controller. One web application running in this domain controller. Users in the domain all have access to web application. After giving the username and password it will allow the user to login to application. But the thing
is some users are not able to login to application, at the same time same users able to login to systems with user id.
Web application is integrated with AD for authentication. Removing the user not able to login, creating again, after that particular user able to login to that application.
    Please give me some suggestion...

That might be due to the fact that these users have too many group membership. Read that: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327825/en-us
You can get more details in the Security logs of the server.
Microsoft made some improvements here by introducing KDC Resource SID Compression: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/20886.kdc-resource-sid-compression.aspx

  • Users are not able to login to portal

    Hi,
In our NWDI server, none of the users able to login. I can able to login to Visual administrator and checked the user status which is unlocked.
It is not showing any error messages even.
    Any suggestions?
    Regards,
    Kalainila B

Have you renewed your portal certificate recently? We had an strange issue, once you putted the user and the correct answer it simply disappeared and the screen was showing the login screen ....
The problem was that when we recreated the ticket in the visual admin we had made a mistake and the SAPLogonTicketpair was written with one capital letter in wrong place. The result: nobody can log in, even with the SAP* user.
The solution was simple, regenerate the portal certificate with the correct name .....

  • I am not able to Login to the officemail web page ...

I am not able to login to the office mail web page through lumia 800 its allowed in all other phone
    1. enter the url of my office outlook mail
    2. Enter the credentials in the outlook
    3. then the outlook page on my ie not loading completly showing only some borders only......

    Hi Friend,
You can try to clear your IE history by going to Settings > Swipe to left/right to go Applications > Internet Explorer > Delete History and then retry. By the way, it would be best to just setup your e-mail on the phone by going to Settings > Email+accounts.

  • Business Catalyst - not able to login, publish or receive password reset email.

    Hi,
I'm not able to login to BC or publish edits to a client Muse site. When I try to log into BC manually, I am not receiving password reset email (not in spam folder). Never been a problem before and the status report says servers are all good. Any insight appreciated (client waiting).
    Thanks!

  • CSUtil -s and list of (deleted) users?

    I would like to
get a text list of the defined users so I work with csutil.exe -d. This
tool writes a dump.txt file that includes deleted users (I don't see
    them via the web interface).
I tested csutil -s to "make database smaller
by removing deleted users" as it is written in the doc but it doesn't work.
Is there a way to get a copy of the user list presented on the web
interface ? If not, how can I identify deleted records in the dump file
    (a status fields anywhere ?).

I searched some TAC cases for answers to your questions.
    Here's what I found:
"Like many relational databases, the CiscoSecure user database handles the deletion of records by marking deleted records as deleted but not removing the record from the database. Over time, your CiscoSecure user database may be substantially larger than is required by the number of users it contains. To reduce the CiscoSecure user database size, you can compact it periodically."
It looks like to remove the deleted users, you need to compact the database with a command like this:
    CSUtil.exe -d -n -l
Please refer to this link for more info about compacting the dB & to make sure you follow the precautions like backing up the database, etc.
    http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_soft/csacs4nt/csnt30/user/ae.htm#72126
Seems like once you compact the dB, you can re-run your report to dump out all the users. This time, the deleted users should not be there.
    thanks

  • After upgraded 9.2 DB, all users are not able to login (Except Guest).

After completed the DB upgrade from 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0, all users are not able to login the oraclemypage.home. This is except the Guest account. For example, I use the sysadmin account to login the oraclemypage.home. It shows "Your login is invalid. Please login again."
Moreover, I do the following query.
    SQL> select fnd_web_sec.validate_login('SYSADMIN','SYSADMIN') from
    dual;
    FND_WEB_SEC.VALIDATE_LOGIN('SYSADMIN','SYSADMIN')
    N
If I guery the Guest account, the result is "Y".
Also, all users can access via dev60cgi/f60cgi to open E-business 11.5.7 application. Are there any missing script / process I need to do?
    Thanks,
