Deleting All Calendar items

I activated my iPhone at the Apple Store and unfortunatley got all the calendar items that were on the computer which obviously aren't mine and I do not want. How do I delete ALL the calendar items so I can start fresh. I do not want to reset because I already manually put in all my phone numbers from my other phone. Thanks for your help.

Hobbers,
All you would have to do is select the calendars that you want to sync from your computer. Under the Info tab in iTunes just select to sync your calendar and at the bottom of the same page in advance options select to replace the information.

  • Is it possible to accidentally delete all calendar items on iphone?

I cannot access any future or past appointments on my calendar. They were there one minute, gone the next. Only thing on my calendar are birthdays. I did update my software and register icloud 5 days ago, but calendar items are not showing up on my macbook either.

If you check your all programs list (wherever that is in the newer versions of Android), is Firefox still listed?
Mozilla doesn't provide an email service, just the browser, so if you aren't able to find your mail account, consider whether it is a different Gmail account, or Yahoo, Hotmail, or another webmail service.

  • Syncing deletes outlook calendar items

    Hello,
I've looked at past postings and found no resolutions there... PLEASE HELP!
When I sync my Blackberry curve 8330 with outlook 2007 it wants to delete all calendar items before October.  Fortunately I saw it said '367' deletions before I clicked ok, but it means I cannot sync my calendar with the BB.
    I have XP, Outlook 2007
    Desktop Manager 4.7.0.32
    I need this fixed urgently.
BTW, I also changed the setting on the BB calendar to 'keep items forever' and it did not resolve the issue.
    Thank you,
    Shane

Doesn't anyone have any suggestions or help with this issue?

  • Sync continues to delete past calendar items despite fixes

I have a Tour 9630 and since lates upgrade of Desktop Software, sync of calendar items wants to delete past calendar items from computer Outlook 2007. I have followed instructions from KB18694 but no change in sync problem.
    Help!

    Hi pjrobbins,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
What version of BlackBerry Desktop Software do you have installed? Can you please check to make sure the past calendar items are all still showing on your BlackBerry smartphone before trying to synchronize again. Can you then let me know if you receive this prompt when the calendar entries being deleted on the computer are still on your BlackBerry smartphone?
I look forward to your reply.

  • Delete all calendars from an iCloud account

    Hi  Support Communities,
did anyone find a way to delete all calendars from an iCloud account? It seems that iCloud wants to keep at least one calendar. We use several accounts and one is only used to look at shared calendars from other accounts. So there is no need for its own empty calendar. On iOS I just hid this calendar, but on OS X it is always visible. I unchecked it, but it would be nice if I could just delete it. If I do so on an iOS device it is gone, but reappears later. Trying to delete it on a Mac results in an error that it can’t be deleted, same goes for the web interface at icloud.com. It’s just a cosmetic issue, but I would prefer it to be gone altogether. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Björn

I had hoped I was wrong, you never know. Well, thanks anyway!

  • Delete All Calendars from iPad?

Simple question; hopefully a simple solution.
I want to delete all calendars from my iPad2, so that I can then copy the calendars from my Mac onto it?
I want all of the data deleted from my iPad, and don't want it to show back up again.
Like I said, it should have a simple solution.
    Thanks!

Repeat the same procedure for all calendars.
If the calendars came in via an Exchange account, you can remove the calendar syncing by editing the exchange account (settings -> mail, contacts and calendar -> accounts) and switch "calendar" in this (http://blog.fosketts.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Exchange-Account-MCC.png) dialog to off.

  • After mountain lion all calendar items are duplicated in outlook

After mountain lion all calendar items are duplicated in outlook. Any idea why this might be.

I'd keep them in folders - in your user account section, then just link to the folder with an alias and not keep the actual files and folders out on or in Desktop Finder area.

  • Delete old calendar items on iCloud

    Hello,
we are using the calendar on iPad Mini synchronizing the entries with iCloud. We can deactivate old calendar items but this doesn't delete them. How can we delete old entries from the calendar (e.g. older than 3 months) and therefore, also delete them from the iCloud storage?
    Kind regards,
    Mike

On the next sync, you can choose to replace all events on the iphone.
This option is found at the bottom of the info tab in itunes.
Befor you use this, make sure that any events on the iphone have ben moved to the computer.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I delete all calendar entries from iPhone 3G S

My iPhone calendar is out of sync with Outlook (2007, connected to an Exchange server). There are appointments no longer in Outlook that are still on the iPhone, and appointments with the wrong time on the iPhone. SO I want to remove all the calendar entries from the iPhone and then redownload everything from Outlook.
So how do I delete all the calendar items from the iPhone WITHOUT deleting them from Outlook or messing with my Outlook profile?

Thanks, Allan. Actually, I prefer to sync my calendar via iTunes because I refresh Outlook and sync via iTunes much more frequently than I fire up VPN to get directly to exchange. But I did use your tip the other way - I turn ON Exchange Calendars to blow away my current iPhone content, then turned it back off to delete the Exchange content. That left me with an empty iPhone calendar that I could then load via iTunes sync.

  • Using the USB cable to sync my blackberry deletes all calendar entries older than 3 mos

I'm not very good at this kind of thing, so please pardon what I'm sure will be mistakes/omissions as I describe my problem.
Every time I sync my blackberry using the USB cable (I'm told by my boyfriend who is an IT guy that I can't sync it wirelessly although I don't know why), all of my calendar entries in Outlook get erased--that is, all the entries that are older than 3 mos.  I frequently use those entries as reference so I can't lose them--so now I'm terrified to sync my blackberry.
Any help will be much appreciated!
    Jenny

    Overview
When synchronizing the Calendar via the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, past calendar events are being deleted on the desktop calendar application.
    Cause
Calendar items on the BlackBerry smartphone were deleted as a result of the keep appointments setting in the Calendar was set to delete older appointments.
    Resolution
To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:
    Task 1
Configure the BlackBerry smartphone to keep past appointments:
Open the Calendar application on the BlackBerry smartphone and press the Menu key.
Select Options and then General Options.
Within General Options set the Keep Appointments options to Forever.
    Task 2
Configure BlackBerry Desktop Manager calendar synchronization options:
For BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.5 to 5.0:
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer with a USB cable and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Select Synchronize from the main menu of BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Select the Synchronization link and click on the button labeled Synchronization to configure the synchronization settings on the BlackBerry smartphone.
    Select the Calendar.
Select the option to Synchronize with Microsoft Outlook and click Next.
Select either the Two way or One way sync and click Next.
Select the Default profile for Microsoft Outlook.
For the Calendar date range select the option to Synchronize items within a range of days, configure the date range to sync 30 days in the past and 365 days in the future.
    Click Next.
Continue through the configuration wizard and click Finish and then OK.
    Perform a new synchronization.
For BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.2 and 4.3:
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer with a USB cable and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Select Synchronize from the main menu of BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Click on the Configuration tab and then on Configure Sync.
If you are still prompted to make deletions from Microsoft Outlook for past calendar events that were not manually deleted, then you may need to repeat the steps above and synchronize with a smaller date range for past events.
For BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 1.0 for Mac OS:
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the Mac with a USB cable and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    Select Calendar.
    Select Two-Way.
Select All Calendars or Selected Calendar, checkmark calendars to use during synchronization.
    Select Advanced Settings.
For the Calendar date range select the option to Only events, configure the date range to sync 30 days prior and 365 days after.
    Click on Sync.

  • 8900 deletes old calendar items on wired sync

I have an 8900 that I wire sync to Outlook 2003 on my PC. Have calendar dates back to 2000. It will sync but alwasy wants to delete things in 2000 and now 2001. So I have to fish them out of the deleted items in Outlook and put them back. Memory seems to be fine on the BB and settings are "forever" and "two way sync." Any thoughts?

You know, something tells me in the back of my head that I've read something of a ten year past event limit, but I can't lay my finger on it just now.
Meanwhile, there's this... Article ID: KB18694 Calendar items occurring in the past are being deleted from the calendar application on the computer
    Not much help now.
Let me ask, do you archive these events in Outlook? Why do you want to keep all that on your BlackBerry (not that it matters, just curious, when you have other "better" options, than on the device itself).

  • How to delete all calendars from icloud?

So I decided it was finally time to try out iCloud, and immediately regretted this decision when my iCal, Safari bookmarks and Address Book all got messed up in different ways. I've managed to fix all these issues (by signing out of iCloud on all my devices and restoring my bookmarks and address book from backups) and I've deleted all old backups from iCloud so it's now showing 5GB of 5GB as free. And yet, when I went to icloud.com I could still see the calendars and contacts that were there before. I've deleted all the contacts, and all the calendars but one, but when I got to the last calendar and tried to delete it I got the following message : "you need to have at least one calendar that you own. To delete this calendar, create a new one."
The best part is, even if I create a new calendar there I still get that message when I try to delete the other one. Is it too much to want to simply delete everything off my iCloud? This entire process has been beyond frustrating. Any help would be much appreciated.

Look like you have duplicate calendars. Find the name of the calendar on your iPhone and the color of the event labels. Then look at your computer. Find the one with the different label/name/color. You can delete that calendar.
