Deleting an outbound queue SMQ1

HI,
Can you please verify, is it ok to delete an outbound queue in smq1? The situation is, we have tried a delta load but we already aborted it since it is not needed anymore. But when we check on smq1, the queue is still there and it's status is running (transaction executing). What will happen if that queue will be deleted? will it cause data lost? Please help. Thanks!
Kind regards,
Mike

Hello Mike,
This shouldn't be a problem. And there won't be any data loss. however you might see additional table entries in your CRM or ECC(depending on what was the destination) for the LUWs that were already processed in your delta load.
Apart from that , no issues

  • Delete Outbound Queue : SMQ1

    Dear Friends
I am upgrading my ECC6 PRD Server by EHP5.
My Check Roadmap step has been completed with warnings!
I Knew it to release and delete by the LBWE and LBWQ.
But my question is that i need to delete it now in CHECK and PREPROCESSING phase.
    or
Delete it in the DOWNTIME phase !  becuase, the PRD system in integrated with BI PRD server and the data is collecting each hourly.
    Please advise.

Changing extraction structure &V#& for application &V#& is forbidden,
because there are entries that have not yet been processed into an
extraction queue for application &V#& for at least one client.
If an extraction structure is changed to the entries that are still
open in an extraction queue, then these are no longer able to be read
and can cause terminations with the collective update.
        What to do
Start the collective update using the function "Job Control" in the
          <DS:TRAN.LBWE>Logistics Extraction Structures Customizing Cockpit</>.
To get an overview of the logistics extraction queues, see the
          <DS:TRAN.LBWQ>Logistics Queue Overview</>.

    Dear Anwer,
As long as you are in prepare or uptime of the upgrade you can
ignore the errors in the RSVBCHCK which say that there exist
update records (as it is normal that there are update records
in a system which is productively used).
In the downtime there is also a check on update records. In the downtime
    this check cannot be ignored.
You can also read note 328181.
Please also refer to the upgrade guide with this regard.
SAP Enhancement Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 ABAP:
    page 105********************************************************
Outstanding or Incomplete Updates (Phase JOB_RSVBCHCK2)
If there are any outstanding or incomplete updates, the upgrade stops in
    this phase with a message.
If errors occur in this phase and you have not stopped production
operation yet, you can skip these
errors with ignore without entering a password. However, we recommend
that you check for these updates and clean them up. The message is:
Update records still exist - Please process
    page 103*******************************************************
Update records still exist - please process
Make sure that you have cleaned up all outstanding updates.
Make sure that you have cleaned up all outbound queue RFC calls by the
JOB_RSVBCHCK_R or JOB_RSVBCHCK_D phase (during downtime) at the latest.
If you are still in the preparation phase (before the beginning of the
Preprocessing roadmap step) and therefore in production operation, you
must only delete the terminated updates.
Also during the production downtime for such issues you can check the
    following information:
This error is caused because the updates have been deleted but
entries in tables related to the update process are not empty:
      - tables VBDATA,VBMOD and VBHDR should all be empty
To avoid the error message , run report RSM13002 with "delete" option
to delete update records as explained in attached note 67014. After
that you can repeat the phase, the incidence should have been solved.
    -> 67014 - Reorganizing update requests
Information remains same for EHP5 as well.

  • Deleting Outbound Queues in SMQ1

    Dear Experts,
System landscape: ECC 6.0, SRM 5.0
I started intial load using DNL_CUST_PROD1 in R3AS and my outbound queue in SMQ1 (ECC) contained an SYSFAIL status. So I would like restart the initial load again from SRM.
Can you please let me know if I need to delete this outbound queue or resetting the status to READY is enough.
If I need to delete the queue, can you please let me know how to delete this outbound queue.
    Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bob.

    Hi Bob,
I'm not sure if I completely understand your question.
You can delete the outbound queue and start the initial load again. In order to do so, just select the queue (click on it once) and then select the trash can icon on the top left side. Or else you can just right click on the queue and select the "Delete" option.
    Hope this helps!
    Thanks,

  • FATAL_ERROR in CRM outbound queue

    Hi,
In CRM Outbound queue SMQ1  (SALES ORDER) we are getting some dumps as follows.
    Exception condition "FATAL_ERROR" raised.
But in ST22, I cannot see any  dumps caused by this.    Please help.
    Thanks & Regards
    Sunil

    Hello Sunil,
look up the function call used in doc flow by clicking on the bdoc.
    Set a breakpoint there.
Lookup error nummer and error class (you can search all error text in table t100)
    Set a conditional breakpoint on sy-msgno with condition sy-msgno = <yournumber>
Let the code itself tell you why you get a fatal error.
You might want to check the general connectivity betweeen crm and erp as well.
Are there any green bdocs exchanged betweeen the Systems?

  • Outbound Queue got deleted during ECC upgrade

    Hi,
After ECC EHP6 Upgrade Outbound Queue in SMQ1 got deleted for data source 0F_GL_14 in ECC, but delta queue exists under RSA7.
how to re-generate outbound Queue which got deleted during Upgrade?
    Santhosh

    Hi Shantosh,
In this case, please follow the below steps -
    1. Delete the delta for your info package, and do init without data transfer.
    2. After this first fill your setup tables with SBIW tcode,
    3. And run your Info Package with Repair full request the data will come to PSA now, anyway ur DSO will overwrite all the existing records and add only the fresh records.
    4. Later enable your delta for the Info Package. This will absolutely go fine.
    Thanks..!!

    Hi Experts,
Could you please let me know the purpose of SMQ1 and SMQ2.
Because when i saw the transaction SMQ1 i am able to see even the queues for
    0FI_GL_6
    0FI_GL_7
    1_CO_PA333ZPAC4.
But when i saw the transaction LBWQ it only contains the Logistics related extract structures.i am aware of LBWQ where the user postings will be saved here with the help of VI Update.

    Hi,
SMQ1 and SMQ2 is used to view the Outbound and Inbound Queue :-
SMQ1 u2013 qRFC Monitor for the outbound queue You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue and restart any hanging queues manually.
SMQ2 u2013 qRFC Monitor for the inbound queue. You use this transaction to monitor the status of the LUWs in the outbound queue.

Check in SMQ1 transaction. You can see whether you require them meant for any active extractors running delta or running in regular frequency for your loads.

  • Gerneric Datasources and Outbound Queue

    Dear Experts,
I've got some generic Datasources (Delta and Full Update) that work properly with productive BW-System.
Now I'm starting to build up an developement system (wrong order I know) and want to load data using the mentioned Datasources from time to time to get relevant data for testing.
Problem now is, that the generic delta Datasources fail accourding to doublicate keys (loading to dev-system) although in the basic tables for these datasources no doublicate keys are existing (or even are possible due to the table key).
I realized in smq1, that every time when data is transfered to productive BW-System, the counter to the queue for dev-System is incremented. When I delete all the entries in smq1 all the updates for dev-System work fine.
In one of the threads here I read, that generic Datasources do not have outbound queues. (Re: Generic Data Source issue).
So is there any way to turn of the outbound queues for specific (generic) Datasources? I do not want to turn them of in general as we use standard delta Datasources for Controlling.
Or how is the "normal" way to transfer data to a dev-System?
(One more information: productive system is 3.5; dev-system is 7.1.)
    Thank you in advance
    Kind regards

  • Outbound Queue stacking up for old destination

    Hi Gurus,
I am implementing APO in a client and since the native integration (CIF) uses the same RFC structure as BW I need to keep an eye on BW processes as well.
The problem here is that they´ve migrated to BW7, killing the old 3.5 but leaving the logical system registered.
Now what is happening is that I found >4million queues in SMQ1 to this nowhere destination, which kills my CIF performance.
We´ve started to clean this garbage but the stack keeps adding up from regular goods movement transactions. The BASIS and BW team is not helping much so:
I need to find where I set the relationship between theses transactions and the destination so it does not go to the outbound queue.
    thanks for the help!

    Hi Anand,
Please go to SMQ1 and in qname enter cf* and then execute.
In the error screen press F8 and then select all PPM related queues and delete.
After that run IM after correction and do run CCR report for the reconcilation by tcode :/SAPAPO/CCR .

  • Outbound queue : no process

    Hi all,
We have CRM 4.0/Oracle/Windows OS, and after a client copy, I've tried to execute some processes that generate a outbound queue, but the entries still there with status "NOSEND", I found a SAP note about this problem, but it's not the same case, I tried to activate one of those queue, but nothing happen, can you please advise, and thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Aziz

    Hi,
see if this can help you.
    NoSend status for a queue
<b>"LUWs of this queue are never sent but retrieved by a special application. These queues are only used internally at SAP (BW or CRM during communication with Mobile Clients). Even if a LUW has been read by the corresponding application (BW, CRM), this status does not change. This LUW is only deleted from the queue if this application confirms collection (collective confirmation possible). Under no circumstances should this status be reset using transaction SMQ1 and the queue activated."</b>

  • QRFC Monitor (Outbound queue)

    Hello friends,
I have to delete and fill up the setup tables for the application 18. I have successfully deleted the data from the setup tables in LBWG. But when I am going to delete the entries in extraction queue(LBWQ), I find two queus for application 18. They are MCEX18 & MCEX18_1. Could you pls let me know the reason for the 2 entries. Should I delete both? Same is the case for allication 17.
    Thanks in advance.
    Vishwa

    Hi,
The entries in LBWQ are those which have only been captured in outbound queues and have not reached RSA7. It is absolutely normal for them to have destination as NONE.
Go to SMQ1, and execute, there you would find multiple entries for application 18
    e.g.
    Queue Name                                   Destination                      Entries
    BWXXX2LIS_18_I0NOTIF               BWCLNTXXX                      100
    BWXXX2LIS_18_I0TASK               BWCLNTXXX                       200
    MCEX18                                         NONE                                   2000
The first two entries here are the ones which have already been processed from outbound queue to RSA7. Therefore now they have destination as BW system.
Please check if here you get entries for 2 different BW systems. This may be the reason for 2 entries MCEX18 and MCEX18_1 in LBWQ.

  • CRM 5.0 outbound queues to Mobile sales

    Hi all,
We have upgraded from CRM 3.0 to CRM 5.0.
I am looking at the outbound queues in SMQ1 that are bound to Mobile sales Sites and am not finding any data bundles other than the name of the Replication Object name in the LUW's of these queues.
But in CRM 3.0 I am able to see detailed data bundles for any of the queues.
Does this mean no data is actually being passed from CRM to Mobile Sales.
At this point of time  I dont have my commstation up and running to verify this. So I am curious to know how else can I check this?
    Thanks.

    Hi KP,
This is the default behaviour in 5.0...the queues are fine and you can go ahead with the sync using Conntrans.

  • Trouble with outbound Queue

    Hy guys,
i've implemented a file to idoc scenario. The scenario works, at least until today..Today a problem occurred: a message sent about 4 hours ago is in "Scheduling for outbound processing" status in sxi_monitor.
I''ve just checked the smq2 transaction and no queued messages  are present. The trouble is that in Queue ID i find "PACKAGE" and not the id i expect to be. I've already read the troubleshooting guide and nothing is explained about.
    Could anybody help me?
    Thank you a lot...
    Bye Bye,
    Sonya.

    Hi,
Messages with one of the following statuses must be scheduled in queues.
1 = message is scheduled (Commit takes place)
9 = message is in automatic retry mode
12 = scheduled for output processing
16 = manual restart with version
An irreparable error is created by the manual deletion of such queue entries. Messages whose queue entries were deleted are not processed further and remain in this status.
Using this report you can search for such messages and cancel the processing of such a message if necessary. It is not possible to reschedule messages whose queue entries were deleted.
This occurs because Use of the exchange infrastructure manual deletion of queue entries.
Solution of this problem is to
    Create the 'RSXMB_CHECK_MSG_QUEUE' report.
Enter 'Check message queue' as the title
Specify '1 Executable program' as the type
    Enter 'SXMSPERSIST' as the package
Start the 'RSXMB_CHECK_MSG_QUEUE' report (for example, in transaction SE38).
The selection interface has three parts.
    Messages
    Message status
    Optional
In the 'Messages' section, you can use the following radio buttons
    Check all messages
    Check specified messages only
to establish whether all messages should be checked or whether only the message IDs specified in the 'Specify messages' subsection should be checked. A pipeline ID must always be specified.
You must specify the Message Status that the messages to be checked should have in the section 'Message status'. There are four possibilities.
    1:Message scheduled
9: Message is in automatic retry mode
    12: Scheduled for Outbound Processing
    16: Manual Restart for Version
At least one status must be selected
In the stage 'Optional' you can select whether a test run (Option 'Test run') should be performed and whether a log (option 'Show log') should be displayed on the screen.
If you have not set the 'Test run' option, the message processing of the selected messages that are not scheduled in a queue is terminated. These messages can now only be archived and then deleted. You must therefore always execute with the 'Test run' and 'Show log' options first and check the selected messages.
If you want to replace the English texts, maintain the following text symbols for the report. (The number on the left is the text symbol):
    001 'Cancel message processing?'
002 'Do you really want to cancel the selected messages?'
    003 'Messages'
    004 'Message status'
    005 'Optional'
    006 'Specify messages'
    007 'Message ID'
    008 'Pipeline ID'
009 '1: Message is scheduled (commit takes place)'
010 '12: Scheduled for outbound processing'
    011 'Test run'
    012 'Display log'
    013 'Check all messages'
    014 'Only check specified messages'
015 '9: Message is in automatic retry mode'
016 '16: Manual restart for version'
    017 'Message ID not specified'
    018 'Pipeline ID not specified'
    019 'Check Pipeline ID'
    020 'Check message status'
    021 ' 1'
    022 ' 9'
    023 '12'
    024 '16'
    025 'Processing canceled'
    026 'Statistic'
    027 'Checked messages:'
    028 'Messages scheduled in queues:'
029 'Messages not scheduled in queues:'
    030 'History changed'
    031 'History not found'
032 'QRFC entry found. Reorganization not possible'
033 'QRFC entry not found. Reorganization possible'
034 'QRFC entry not found. Message selected for archiving'
    035 'Messages:'
    036 'Status:'
    037 'Queue:'
038 'TID not found. (No QRFC entry)'
    039 'TID:'
    Hope this will help you.
