Deleting BBM Group Calendar

Anyone know how to remove the group calendar from our tours???? I've tried everything, thing won't budge. I only want to use my gmail calendar. I was even lucky enough to remove the default calendar (don't know how I did it....now only if I can remove the group one I'd be in heaven... Will take any suggestions!

Okay, looks like I've resolved the stubborn bb group default calendar issue on my wife's device (8900onRobbers);
Backed up device data
Reset the device software using this method KB11320
Restored the backup using the advanced method and excluding the bbgroups, my contacts and calendar entries
prompted me for a restart
setup my google sync for my contacts and calendar
verified the entries calendar entries were indeed showing a single calendar
installed the bbm 5.0 (I had an invite to a group link leftover - which took me to the download)
bbm5 restored my contacts (don't forget to backc them up )
Now it appears to be working as expected...

How do i get a BBM group calendar to update to my outlook calendar? I have tried everything I could think of but cannot seem to make this append. I have the blackberry desktop software release June 7, 2011 bundle 34.
I want to add that i have the Blackberry Curve 9300 3G

BBM group calendar

We are using BBM group calendar. I ad a issue with my software version on my torch and the group synch was lost. I triad to recover and had to upgrade my wife 9700.
The adding, modifying of BBM group calendar entry works.
Erasing a BBM group entry does not work. Is it broken in the last version ?

Duplicate BBM Group Calaendar Entries in BB10 Claendar

In the BB10 calendar app I now have 3 duplicate calendars listed for each of my BBM Groups. If I add an entry to the BBM group calendar in BBM it shows up 3 times in the BB10 calendar. There doesn't seem to be any way to delete the extra calendars from the calendar settings. All I can do is uncheck some of the duplicates in the manage calendars settings but this doesn't seem to do much. Anyone know how to delete the extra calendars?

Exactly the same issue with both my Z10 and Q10 - multiple calendars for the same group - each with a different color. Also when I switch from the Q10 to the Z10 the calendar does not show the appointments from the Q10

We have not problem to use webcalendar, but when we try to subscribe us with ical, we have encounters a access problem authorisation.
There's only one group that make problem.

How can i delete shared gmail calendars on my Mac's calendar?

Hello,
My company's email, calendar, etc is set up with the Google Apps. I created a Gmail account in my Mac (Running Yosemite) so I could sync the Calendar.
In the Gmail calendar, you can view calendars from teammates additional to your own to make life easier when setting up meetings, etc. Every time I add a teammate's calendar in Gmail, that new calendar is also synced in my Mac. Initially it was pretty cool, but what has happened now is that even though I delete the additional calendars in Gmail, these deletions are not replicated to my Mac, so I'm having to handle about 10 calendars and every time these other people receive invitations I have them on my Mac. The most I can do is "unselect" them in my Mac calendar but eventually somehow they get activated or "selected" again. Below a picture of what I see in my Mac.
How can I delete these calendars on my Mac?

Welcome to the Apple communities.
I'm not all that sure that I fully understand your question. However if you are trying to delete the groups on the left-hand side of your address book, then simply click on them once to highlight them and use the delete key on your keyboard to delete them.
Any contacts within those groups will stay in your main account and will not be deleted along with the group heading.

Group Calendar and different problems

Hey everybody,
tried to work with wiki calendars for a shared group calednar. The basic setup went well, but now i figured out some problems:
The DNS is setup well, and "changeip -checkhostname" works without an error. The client could ping the server with <FQDN> and getting the correct IP address. Server is 10.6.8 as well as on the client 10.6.8.
1.) When creating an event in the shared wiki calendar: the user couldn't invite any person. The inivited person didn't get an invitation. In the shared calendar the user is marked with an "". When creating the event in the personal calendar the inviation is working (see Nr. 2 below) and the user is shown with an "?" and when accepted with an check.
2.) Inviting an other person (within the personal calendar) will showing up the event in iCal with a grey dotted border, but he didn't get a notification in in the list. He could accept or decline by finding the event in the calendar, double click it and hit "accept" in the event window. That's working fine, but he didn't show an message when a person is invited, the event has updated or anything else.
3.) Permissions in the wiki calendar: The user has the permissions to read the wiki, but not to write to it (assigned to it with the Webinterface).
When the user tries to edit or deleting an existing event the following message is shown
When clicking on "Revert to Server" the event is set back to the old data - reverted - that works fine.
But when the user tries to create a new event, he's getting the following message:

Ignoring the message would keep the event in the calendar as well as "Go Offline" but not synced to the server. Even after manual syncing to the server or restarting iCal, he is syncing with the server but keeping that event showing up. After a few days there are so many wrong event the user didn't know what's a correct event on the server, and what's a false event.
That's very wired, because the user might think it's on the server, but it isn't! It's just shown in the local iCal
Could these problems be solved be reconfiguring the server (maybe command line?) or are they "bugs" in the Server?

#1 is not possible from what I gathered through monthhs of digging through forums. Group calendars do not send/receive invites. I even think I saw it in the Wiki Server documentation. Our method here is to send out the invitation from the user.. and then copy to the group calendar. The sending of events can be a tricky one.. Here I use an email gateway because our mailserver is separate from the ical server.
#3 I am uncertain what you say is a problem.. if the user has read-only permissions to that group calendar any modification on his part of the read-only calendar will flag with the above error message.

BBM Group Chat Question

BBM group chat question - from time to time, additional chats show up in our group that have no messages in them. When someone posts in one, the whole group sees it and the admins can delete it, but otherwise they tend to be localized to one or two members and we can't remove them. Is there a way for a non-admin to get rid of one of these chats? My understanding is that if I had started it that I'd be able to delete it but since I'm not the creator I don't have this option. Thanks.

Group Calendar Error in UWC

Hi,
We are having a problem in view Group Calendar, After creating group calendar and adding members, when we try to view it in UWC, it gives following error:
Calendar Not Available*
Could Not Display View*
The selected calendar(s) was either deleted or does not exist or you do not have permissions to view it. Select another calendar(s).*
How ever we can View / Edit the same group calendar through "SUN Java Calendar Express"....Any idea which patch level can fix this issue..???

I would start narrowing down the problem by removing group members one by one and seeing if there is a particular member which is causing the problem. Then look at that account and see if there is anything different/unusual etc.

BBm Group

Hi All,
I have the Blackberry Curve. In BBM I have a "Group" that shows 0/1 contacts but it shows no contacts in the list. It does not show anyone in the group, but I can not delete the group. I think this is what is messing me up with one contact. How can I get the group to show no contacts (0/0) so I can remove the group?

BBM Groups - lost ability to be administrator when changing devices

My Bold's screen stopped working to I used an old loaner Curve that didn't support BBM Groups prior to moving into my Torch 9810 that I have now. My BBM contacts followed me but my BBM groups did not. I was able to get re-invited to these groups by others that were members of these groups but now the administrative is not possible as the BBM group still believes that those privledges still belong to my unuseable Bold. I've learned my lesson and will allow at least one other group member to have administrative permissions for future groups to avoid this in the future but, for our current groups, does anyone know of a fix to allow for the administrative properties to be moved? Thanks!

You create a new group (give another access as Admin), invite the other members.
Delete the old group.

Only Shows 2 members in BBM Group of 22

Hi There
I've been added to a BBM group of 22 members, but I cannot see any other members but the person that added me (the creator) and myself. It only shows 2 members are in my group. I also only get the messages that the creator has posted in the group. The creator can only see all 22 members.
I have deleted the group then asked one of the other members to add me, it still shows only two members being the person that added me and myself.
Please help :/

Ask that person to DELETE you from the Group.
Reboot your BlackBerry... With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
Now, ask that friend to give you a reinvite.

I'm "invisible" to others in BBM groups

I have a Curve 9360. I've had this problem for about two weeks now. I am involved in 5 BBM groups, and only 6 of the 12 people in those groups can see what I say or what pictures I post. I can message the person directly and they can read it, but in groups I am invisible to about half of the people. I have tried pulling the battery, making new groups, leaving all of the groups and pulling the battery then being re-invited, and nothing has worked. I tried to delete the application all together and re-install it, but it deleting the BBM app seems to be blocked.
Any suggestions? This phone is two months old with no water damage.

We are having the same problem... we have a group with about 8 member... and some people cant see posts from others. We have recreated the group many times, deleted and added members and it keeps changing who cant see who, sometime 1 group members posts cant be see by 2 other. It seems to change who can see whos posts. some members can be seen by all... strange!! what is the solution BB?

How do I delete all my calendars in iCloud?

I have literally a few hundred calendars that got generated from the MobileMe days due to syncing issues and other MobileMe problems. When I migrated to iCloud I had hoped there would be a way to start fresh and get rid of all my calendars but that was not the case.
So I would like to literally blow away ALL of my calendars and start fresh. I realize I could delete them one at a time but that will take several hours to accomplish since deleting the calendar has to delete all the past and future events.
Is there a way to delete all my calendars in iCloud?

Go to icloud.com on your computer, sign into your iCloud account, open your contacts, click on a single contact, press control-A to select all contacts, press the Delete key on your keyboard. Do this for all groups to be sure you get them all. Note: if any of your devices are signed into this account with contact syncing set to on, this will also delete the contacts from your devices.

Deleting multiple groups within icloud on my iphone

I have 7 duplicate groups on my iphone and I want to delete the groups that are duplicates. When logging onto the icloud site via my iMac, there is only one group listed so I can't delete the groups from there. Please let me know how I correct the situation. Thanks!

No, I'm talking about groups of contacts on the iphone. So, when you are in the phone icon, tap on "contacts", on the top left there is a "group" tab, when I click on that there are seven groups under "icloud". The first group under icloud is "All icloud". That group has 1401 contacts. There are 6 more groups under (5 labeled "Contacts" and 1 labeled "Card"). Each group labeled "Contacts" has 221 contacts and the one labeled "Card" has 296. This equals the 1401 contacts in the "All icloud" group. When I go into the "All icloud" group I have 6 duplicates on most of the entries. I'm thinking if I can delete the 6 groups, it would correct the duplicates. If I can go into "settings", then "Mail, Contacts, Calendars", under Accounts, my iCloud account has 6 total accounts.
I'm talking this out and maybe what I will do is "Delete Account" on iCloud (from my iphone). When I click on that, it informs me "If you delete your account, all Photo Stream photos and documents stored in iCloud will be deleted from this iPhone. So, if I do that and then reset with my iCloud account (that has the correct number of contacts (221), maybe I will only have one account on iCloud on my iPhone. I will let you know.
