Deleting categories from Remote App

I have just installed the Remote app and it works fine. I would like to remove some of the categories in the MORE section, things such as FILMS, ITUNES U and RADIO, as I will never use them.
I cant see how to do this. Does anyone know?

Some possible options:
1. There exists SSH implementation for Windows.
2. You can make a workaround. You can setup share for specific/wanted directory.
Then you can mount it on Linux machine and execute command localy and delete files "localy" in mounted directory.
3. You can setup FTP server on Windows machine and do that remotely via FTP commands.

You'll have to deselect the photos in the photo pane in iTunes on your computer and then sync the phone again, this will delete photos that have not been taken with the phone but synced from the computer.

This works for apps you've acquired, but does not work for built-in features. I am regularly nagged to update Digital Camera RAW Compatibility (currently I'm being nagged about Update 6.03). I've tried the method described above - the steps are available, but they appear to have no effect. I think this is perhaps because RAW compatibility is an element of OSX rather than a separate app. I don't use RAW format with cameras, and have no need for this feature. Even if I did, I have none of the 13 camera models listed in this update.
It is just a nuisance, but if anyone knows how to suppress this I would appreciate instructions.
I would also be curious if anyone can explain why on earth Apple would incorporate RAW camera format compatibility into the core of its operating system. It shakes my confidence in their operating system design.

This question really could be in several forums due to includeing Apple TV, Apple Remote App, iPad, iTunes and so on, but I think this is the best site, sorry if wrong!
Here's the problem: I am using Apple's Remote App on my iPad to control the Apple TV. Works great!
But, I mistakenly also added my computer's iTunes Library (via a 4 digit pin, not Home Sharing) to the devices the Remote App can manage.
How do I remove the Library from the Remote devices??

BTW: I think Apple has to clean up some of their evolutionary kruft. AirPlay vs Home Sharing. ATV direct use of Library. iCloud and iTunes match. It takes a lot of thought figuring out how to use Apple's media ecology. I realize its all historic but I bet there are a LOT of confused folks out there.
Just for the record: I decided to use Match .. only $25 or so a year and my phone, pod, pad, tv etc all have access to my complete digital collection. I also love AirPlay. I've started avoiding Home Shairing like the plague! As far as I can tell, it mainly is still around due to the Media Industry placing restrictions on Apple.

Cannot delete library in remote app

Can't get the remote app to work on my windows 7 computer. It worked intially but stopped working. Library name shows up but will not connect. Changed library name and now two libraries show up (old name and new name) but will not connect. I had told it to forget remotes so can't tell it again (greyed out). It appears to be coming from the windows computer. Will not let me remove when I go to edit (I have another computer working correctly. When I go to edit on the app the other computer has an x to delete it. The two icons for this computer show a little house with a musit note inside but will not let me delete. What do I do?

Hey Bill- You have Home Sharing enabled which automatically adds the libraries associated with that Home Sharing account as opposed to manually adding them with the remote app and then punching in the code the app generates into iTunes. If you shut Home Sharing off on your iPad, it should allow you to remove any lingering iTunes libraries, or if there are none it should automatically remove them.

Cannot delete Lists from Reminders app after upgrading to iOS 7. The deal is that those lists don't show in iCloud account in the Web-Browser, so I cannot delete via Browser, when I press the button Edit in the List, there is no Delete button at thebottom

When I press Edit button in the right corner of the app, the button Delete list is supposed to be at the bottom, but it's empty there, the deal is I could delete some of the lists, but most of them I can't. I tried delete iCloud account from iPhone, but they are still there, and still no Delete button. In the Browser I don't see those lists, so cannot delete them from the Browser as well. Why don't you use the fully-qualified-domain-name (FQDN) of your GW and perform a re-direct to this ?
This should be known (and everytime the same), addtionally you won't have any problems if there's any load balancer in between or in fron of the GWs.
Secondly you'll have problems to get the IP -address if there's any proxy server involved.

IPad Air 2 Deletes Movies from Video App Yet Keeps Space Alotted

My new iPad Air 2 is deleting movies from the video app and leaving the space reserved in "other." When I examine this in iTunes on my Mac, the deleted movies now show their size as "stream" instead of their file size. This is highly annoying as I keep having to format and restore, and it keeps happening and I am losing a ton of space to "other."

I'm experiencing this exact issue on two devices:
iPhone 4S 32GB
iPad Air 64 GB
Both while running iOS 7.03 and 7.04 (recently updated both devices to 7.04 hoping it would help. It didn't)
My iPhone had become nearly unusable until I found your post. It had apparently accumulated >12 GB of "temporary streamed content", as after I did a backup/wipe/restore, I had recovered to around 12 GB free space.
It's unfortunate that the fix requires a complete reset/restore cycle, as it's very time-consuming, but thanks for providing that fix! It saved my iPhone 4S. Now I can comfortable wait until the 6 comes out to get a new iPhone.
Really, though, this seems like a critical bug for iOS devices. I'll certainly not stream any iTunes content until/unless this is fixed. I found that if I turn off "Show all Videos" in the Video App settings, it doesn't show the iTunes cloud content for streaming from within the App. This forces me into iTunes to do a full download if I want to watch something. Kind of a pain, but it beats a device that's maxed out on storage and basically bricked.

Only if you backed up the phone before that and did not back up after that. App settings and data are part of the backup. But all other data will be set back as well, you can't choose a single app to be restored from the backup.
