Deleting codes from code groups/catalogs

Hi experts,
Is it possible to delete a code that is associated to a code group/catalog ?
Obs: I have already used this specific code. So, the field "U" (Data record is being used) is already flagged.
From all activities, I've checked if none of these activities are with the code.
But, I'm still unable to delete the code of code group.

For the code / code groups which are being used, you can't delete, but there's some workarounds :
If you can stop the creation of transactions for 2 mins. use METHOD 1, if not use the METHOD 2 for each code and code groups (which is harder, and longer).
METHOD 1
First method is to enter X to the field HIST in table TQ15 for the catalog in which the codes/code groups are. (it makes the catalog "inactive")
ATTENTION : You must rechange it when you have finished deleting codes / code groups !!!
METHOD 2
Edit the field VERWENDUNG of the table below (you must remove the value 'X' with DEBUG directly from the table):
table for code : QPCD
table for code groups : QPGR

    In the AP Group, you click on that blue triangle on the right of the SSID. There is a remove or delete there.

    Is it possible to assign more no. of code group with a single catalog type like damage ( Catalog type "C" ) for a single equipment only.If it is possible then can anyone tell me how to creat the same and display it.

    Hi,
    You can creat multiple code groups within same catalog.But when you define catalog profile for technical object you need to  include all those code groups which you want to be available.If you want to include multiple then you need to put each code group against related catalog in catalog profile or add * for given catalog to include all code groups defined for damage catalog.

    Hi Srikanth,
    If u are using KM Discussion Group Admin iView to manage your discussion groups then its possible to delete the posts.
    You can delete in discussiongroup folder in the KM repository.You can check the permission on the disucssions folder so that end users have Read/Write permission.
    Or u check ur extension which was used to create:
    1) Content Admin --> Collab Content --> Room Template Admin --> Click on the SAP Standard template
    2) Click on the Extensions tab and you will find an extension called DiscussionPermission which is called everytime a room is created or a new owner is added to the room.
    This extension is a program running in the background which makes sure that all the end users get Read/Write Permissions, whereas the room owners get Full permissions to the discussions within a room.

    If there is a problem with a mailing group (vs. a mailing list) then notifications are sent to all members of the group.

    I am editing an old indesign catalog file. I think everything is linked together. I'm trying to get rid of old images and content. Whats the easiest way to do that without messing the entire document up? I already tried deleting pages, and it seems like it messes up the doc. I need help!

    If the text is threaded through the document, you can use a script that comes with InDesign to break it up into text boxes. It's call splitstory
    It will break out your text into its individual frames so that when you delete a page, its text doesn't flow onto another page.
    A few notes from the script
    -To use the script, select a text frame, then run the script.
    --Note: Any overset text at the end of the story will be deleted.
    --Note: Hyphenation points between text frames will not be retained.

  • Deleting user from Everyone group

    Hi,
    Has anyone done this?
    We have a business need to delete a user from the "Portal Everyone" group and am not able to do it.
    I have tried to pull up the everyone group to list the users in the said group and the "Group" iview times out and also the number of users maxes out the cache.
    Further the users in this could roughly total to 40,000+.
    Thoughts I have range from the following:
    Is there any tweak i can do the server's cache settings to handle that high a volume of users? What/where would I be doing some like that?
    Should I be doing this programatically perhaps?
    Any light on the matter would be grealty appreciated.
    Lastly is there a easier solution I am missing?

    This maybe would be the fastest solution. Should be something about a five-liner. Use https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/javadocs/nw04/sp12/user management engine - version 4.0/com/sap/security/api/igroup.html#removeusermember(java.lang.String) and save/commit.

  • Deleting Field from CRM Field Catalog

    I added a custom field to Item level of the CRM Field Catalog by mistake. Now I want to delete it and then add it to the header structure.
    When I try to delete the field, its giving error message "Condition tables already exist for field 2". I understand the field is already being used as we did do the download.
    How do I tackle this scenario..How to I delete this field?

    I deleted the condition tables(which was using the field) with the help of basis people as I was not able to delete.
    What do you mean by conditions? You want me to delete condition type? Can you give me more information.
    What i tried in the mean time was, I asked ther R/3 pricing guy to remove the access sequence using this field. Then I did a download from R/3to CRM...So with this step and the deletion of the condition table, it didn;t solve my problem. It still gave me the same error when I tried to delete the field.

    I have created an infoset query. Based on tables
    VBAK - Sales order header data
    VBAP - Sales order item data
    VBUP - Sales document item status
    VBPA - Parnter function table.
    I created a custom BW data-source in RSO2 based on this infoset query.
    Now I want to delete tables (VBPA) or entries (VBPA-KUNNR) in field groups from infoset query.
    & system is not allowing me to do this saying
    System says "VBPA-KUNNR" is used in queries.
    Can anybody please suggest me any way to change the infoset & inturn datasource created over it.

    Go to SQ02. Enter your infoset. Click on 'Role/User Group Assignment'. Make a note of all the user group that this infoset is assigned to (checkbox is checked means it is assigned to that group).
    Now go to SQ01. In the menu, 'Edit-->Other user group', enter the user group (repeat this process if you have more than one user group assigned) that you determined before. Now you will see all(if any) the queries. Select the query and delete it by clicking the trash can icon.

  • How do I delete images from the Lightroom Catalog that are no longer on my computer!?

    Something went wront on an ingest of my images. I think I tried correcting it by going into my /workingfiles folder were they were stored and deleting them manually. I'm sure I checked to see if I could do it through Lightroom, but maybe I missed the folder they were put in. I am guessing that is what happened so Lightroom still has a small image of them somewhere and will no longer let me re-import them. Any ideas on what I can do to get out of this mess? Thanks.

    They are not showing up in Lightroom at all. I already deleted them.
    When I try to import them again into Lightroom it wants to add another 2012 folder to wherever I am trying to insert them and then it does the month/day folder when it already has the month folder it should automatically go into and not be adding a seperate 2012 folder first.
    I can't even get it to do the above right now. Now all it does is it wants to make this seperate 2012 folder with the month/day folders but has little boxes beside each folder showing that there are no images to import. The images do show up on the import screen but they are all darkened and unchecked. When I click the proper folder to import them they come on bright and have little boxes checked, but that lasts for less than a second before it decides they are not new. They are new images, I deleted them all out of Lightroom, and probably missed deleting some through Lightroom but instead deleted them straight from the folder outside of Lightroom. This is what is probably causing me such grief and I have found nothing in my searches to tell me how to correct this. *sigh*
