Deleting duplicated 'Notes' deleted all of them...

In Notes, all my notes were listed twice. When I deleted one of the duplicates to clean up the list, it deleted both. How do I get them back? I don't see them in 'trash'.

Back up all data.
Check the Mail, Contacts & Calendar preference pane to make sure you're synchronizing Notes in more than one account.
If you're not, disable Notes synchronization temporarily.
Quit Notes, if it's running.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes
Copy the whole line of text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop.
The folder you're moving is named "com.apple.Notes" It is not the subfolder named "Data" or anything else.
Re-enable Notes synchronization.
Relaunch Notes and test. If it works now, delete the folder you moved. Otherwise, quit again, and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place.
Caution: If you delete some or all of the contents of the selected folder, but leave the folder itself in place, the application may not launch. Deleting the folder will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.

I would do it manually. As you can see from turingtest2's post, some duplicates are not really duplicates.
I would also review how you add media to iTunes. It should not be producing all that many duplicates.

iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

Sorry, Apple ID's cannot be deleted or merged. All you can do is stop using an Apple ID.

Select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Show Folder to open the profile folder in your OS's file manager, exit TB, delete (or move to another location) abook.mab (Personal Address Book) and history.mab (Collected Addresses). When you restart TB, you should have empty PAB and CA address books.

I found how to delete bookmarks, but by selecting one by one... isnt' there a way to select all of them in once ? (I have 1200).

You can reset all bookmarks on the [[Safe mode]] start window.
You would have to select all three main (root) folders one at a time (Toolbar, Menu, Unsorted) and select all bookmarks and folders in the right pane for each of them if you want to delete them in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).

Archive of most recent backup (not of all of them!)

I have a one-terabyte Time Capsule, to which I backup four Macs using Time Machine. I want an offsite backup of the current drives, for which I have an empty 512 GB USB drive to plug into the Time Capsule. I only require the current state of the four Macs, not all versions of the files going back in time. If the backups on the Time Capsule are larger than 500 GB or so, then I guess Airport Utility's Archive won't work for this purpose?

Obviously you can't make an archive of backups larger than 500GB if your drive is only 500GB....
The only way I know how to have just 'the current state of the four Macs' is to go into Time machine and delete everything before a certain date, although I personally have not done that on my TC. The simplest way, IMO (and yet most time consuming, ironically) would be to simply view your Time capsule from Finder, and delete all of your backup.sparsebundle(s)... Then run time machine again on each mac, thereby having only the current state as backups on there, allowing you to archive to an airdisk via USB..
I can vouch that deleting the sparsebundles will not cause any problems (I've done it several times w/ no issues, at least). Good luck and let us know if you find an easier way!

MarkerText - position and visible for one serie (not for all of them)

can I position the MarkerText in a graph in this way that is centered horizontally inside the serie?
I know I can use the element markerTextPlace to place the MarkerText in relation to the marker, but that is not waht I want. With this solution I get the MarkerText only on the bar or around the bar, but what I want is that the MarkerText will be shown on the center of the area (of the serie - horizontally) .
I also want to make the MarketText visible only for specific series (one serie) but not for all series. Waht I can do is show the Markertext or not but it affects all the MarkerText of all the Series.
Any help?

That tip worked perfectly. It's strange that Apple phone help, even when I was transferred to "the highest level of help", said it could not be done, that it was either all or nothing when it comes to deleting "My Recents" call history. What kind of bozos do they have working there? If Jobs was still alive, he would fire those clowns who claim to be the highest level of help when they don't even know enough about their product to give good technical advice. Thanks again.

I originally had over 900 unread emails on my ipad because I had been using my PC for all emails for quite some time. Meantime, because the two are synced, over 900 had been accruing on my ipad. I managed to delete and send to trash all but the 574. These 574 are showing in my inbox, but when I go to the inbox, there is no mail. How do I remedy this problem?

No I copied someone elses post to see if someone could explain which registry keys they copied because mimicking it might fix my problem. I am desperate to fix the problem to get my backup going.The person does not detail which keys. If it were me I would
elaborate so someone else who sees the post might have a better chance of fixing their issue.

I have been recieving and deleting my emails via my POP server successfully on my iPhone successfully for years.    Now that I've upgraded to ios 5, I have over 3000 emails on my iphone that are weeks / months old.    They were deleted off my phone in the past.
How can I do a "mass" delete of these emails from my phone?    It is extremely time consuming and frustrating to "select" each old email then delete.   I've been doing this for 100 emails at a time but there has to be another and easier way.

Thanks for the clarification.    Yes, I do access my email from 2 different sources.
FYI, I use the POP mailserver as I need most of the information to be loaded onto my PC while on a plane / not connected to the interenet.
The primary use of mail on my iPhone is to be available as much as possible - even when I'm away from my office.

A lot of songs in my library have an excalmation point to the left of the song. This means the song cannot be located for syncronizing even though they can be played. I have deleted all of them and started over but the problem still exists.

I have gone so far as deleting every song and then importing them. Same problem. This is not just a few songs but at one time was in the hundreds.
Has anyone experience this?

The exclamation point indicates the media is not where iTunes expects it to be.
What happened just prior to this issue starting?

How do you get page tabs to automatically delete when you close Firefox. I now have to manally delete all of them - dozen of them!

Each web page I go to leaves a tab at the top of the page above the website. They stay there until I manually delete them. My previous computer automatically shut them when I closed the home page

You can right click one tab and choose "Close Other Tabs" to close most of them.
Set the pref browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to false on the about:config page to prevent closing the last tab from closing the browser and make a close button appear if only one tab is open.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.
