Deleting fields from field group in Infoset

Hi Geeks,
I have created an infoset query. Based on tables
VBAK - Sales order header data
VBAP - Sales order item data
VBUP - Sales document item status
VBPA - Parnter function table.
I created a custom BW data-source in RSO2 based on this infoset query.
Now I want to delete tables (VBPA) or entries (VBPA-KUNNR) in field groups from infoset query.
& system is not allowing me to do this saying
System says "VBPA-KUNNR" is used in queries.
Can anybody please suggest me any way to change the infoset & inturn datasource created over it.

Go to SQ02. Enter your infoset. Click on 'Role/User Group Assignment'. Make a note of all the user group that this infoset is assigned to (checkbox is checked means it is assigned to that group).
Now go to SQ01. In the menu, 'Edit-->Other user group', enter the user group (repeat this process if you have more than one user group assigned) that you determined before. Now you will see all(if any) the queries. Select the query and delete it by clicking the trash can icon.

How to delete topics from Discussions Group

Plz help me out with this issue.
I want to delete some topics from Discussions Group.
In Discussion Forum we have 3 Discussion Groups now i want to Delete some topics from that Discussion Groups.
First of all is it possible to delete that topics in discussions.
If possible give the process to delete the topics.

Hi Srikanth,
If u are using KM Discussion Group Admin iView to manage your discussion groups then its possible to delete the posts.
You can delete in discussiongroup folder in the KM repository.You can check the permission on the disucssions folder so that end users have Read/Write permission.
Or u check ur extension which was used to create:
1) Content Admin --> Collab Content --> Room Template Admin --> Click on the SAP Standard template
2) Click on the Extensions tab and you will find an extension called DiscussionPermission which is called everytime a room is created or a new owner is added to the room.
This extension is a program running in the background which makes sure that all the end users get Read/Write Permissions, whereas the room owners get Full permissions to the discussions within a room.

Deleting codes from code groups/catalogs

Hi experts,
Is it possible to delete a code that is associated to a code group/catalog ?
Obs: I have already used this specific code. So, the field "U" (Data record is being used) is already flagged.
From all activities, I've checked if none of these activities are with the code.
But, I'm still unable to delete the code of code group.

For the code / code groups which are being used, you can't delete, but there's some workarounds :
If you can stop the creation of transactions for 2 mins. use METHOD 1, if not use the METHOD 2 for each code and code groups (which is harder, and longer).
METHOD 1
First method is to enter X to the field HIST in table TQ15 for the catalog in which the codes/code groups are. (it makes the catalog "inactive")
ATTENTION : You must rechange it when you have finished deleting codes / code groups !!!
METHOD 2
Edit the field VERWENDUNG of the table below (you must remove the value 'X' with DEBUG directly from the table):
table for code : QPCD
table for code groups : QPGR

Deleted user from a group returned error message

I have a group [[email protected]] with serveral users on it. I deleted one user (userA) member of the group from the system. When a user B send an email to the group [email protected] a messages is returned to all of the members of the group notifying that the user is not whithin the group.
The group [email protected] is a dynamic group.

If there is a problem with a mailing group (vs. a mailing list) then notifications are sent to all members of the group.

Deleting user from Everyone group

Hi,
Has anyone done this?
We have a business need to delete a user from the "Portal Everyone" group and am not able to do it.
I have tried to pull up the everyone group to list the users in the said group and the "Group" iview times out and also the number of users maxes out the cache.
Further the users in this could roughly total to 40,000+.
Thoughts I have range from the following:
Is there any tweak i can do the server's cache settings to handle that high a volume of users? What/where would I be doing some like that?
Should I be doing this programatically perhaps?
Any light on the matter would be grealty appreciated.
Lastly is there a easier solution I am missing?

This maybe would be the fastest solution. Should be something about a five-liner. Use https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/javadocs/nw04/sp12/user management engine - version 4.0/com/sap/security/api/igroup.html#removeusermember(java.lang.String) and save/commit.

I can't delete a page in Pages. In Thumbnail is grouping pages together and won't let me delete it from the group

How can I "de-group" pages in Pages. I want to delete a blank page, and it refuses to let me.

This answer applies to Pages 4/iWork '09 or earlier. I don't use Pages 5 often enough to understand how it handles pages in the sidebar in 5.2.
Pages doesn't "see" a page as you & I do. Pages sees logical pages, separated by section breaks, rather than physical pages. You can see this by showing thumbnails, View > Show Page Thumbnails, & then clicking on a page thumbnail. The yellow border around groups of pages shows the logical page. You need to insert section breaks before & after the physical pages to separate them.

I need to delete myself from a Group Conversation.

My idiot friends added me to a group conversation and i cannot leave it. Each time i ask them to start a new conversation and not include me they refuse. My phone has been ringing non stop for 3 days now and i need to find a way to get out of this conversation so that i can go to class, do my homework and sleep at night!!! I can turn my phone onto Airplane mode but when it is in this mode I cant receive the important phone calls and text messages that i need to answer.
Somebody please help me.
If there is no way to leave this conversation somebody please tell me where i can find a virus that will shut down their phones.

Why? There are three flowers in the images, so "Fiori Fiori Fiori" is perfect! sorry, couldn't resist - just kidding - forgive me!
Now: I made the same mistake myself once. This usually happens, if you use "append" in the Batch Change "Add Metadata from:" options: Set it to "Replace".

Can you re-assign assign another code to the transactions.
The system is not going to respond well if you just delete them.

Adding a field in an field group in an existing infoset(ADHOC query)

hi Experts
I have an infoset which contains different field group's in the form of infotypes.i have a requirement to add a field in to one of the field group's.
When i see sq02 trasaction,i can change the field group for my infoset,but i don't have any option to add a field to that field group in the infoset.(I can only delete/change a field).
Can any one tell me,how to add a field to the field group in an existing infoset.
Any help in this regard wud be appreciated.

Hi,
In SQ02, select the infoset in change mode, you wil see Data fields in left hand side & Field Group in right hand side. select your field which u want to add from the Data field, drag & drop in the field group.
If your field is not there in any of Data field, then create additional field & then drag-drop in the field group.

Delete fields in infoset

Hi.
I want to delete a field of an infoset but i can't because the system says that it is used in a query of the infoset. But the field is not used in the queries of the infoset. This field has domain values. How can i delete the field of the infoset.

Hi Raneetha,
Plz follow these steps to solve your problem
1. T code SQ01 - go to your Query in change mode
2. click on "Next Screen" icon on the "Change Query: Title Format" screen
3. select or check "Field groups" ( select the field group to which fields to be deleted are assigned) to edit and click again on "Next Screen" icon
4. Uncheck the fields that you want to delete from the Query and save
5. Go to SQ02 - change mode of Infoset - under section "Field Group/Data fields" expand the field group and delete the fields you want.
6. Generate Infoset and Save
