Deleting GL-Accounts(for sales)

hello experts
i am trying to delete some unused GL Account and the system comes up with the following error
Cannot cancel an account connected to the stock
could you please give me some help about how can i delete them?

Using the below query you can find it:
Warehouse:
select * from OWHS
Item Groups:
select * from OITB
This will display the account codes mapped with that account,so you have to cross check it...
also check it in G/L Account Determination manually...
try those query,revert me if you find any complexities in that results...

1) Check the spro-MM-purchasing-account assignment-Maintain account assignment categories -
Here check the account modifications against Account assignment category C,P
2) Then go to OBYC -GBB check the account maintained against the account modifier obtained in step 1

Deletion Utility Program for Sales Order.

Hi Experts,
We decided to have a deletion utility program for Sales orders.
The program should take sales order numbers from a source file, and delete one by one, also the program should generate process log details at the end.
For creating the above program i need to create a new program or there is any BAPI for deleting the Sales Orders.

Possible UPDATEFLAGS:
BAPISDH1X-UPDATEFLAG = 'D'.
U = change
D = delete
I = add
If you go to SE37 give BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE --> Display ---> In application tool bar Last Buttion Function Module Documentaion --> Here you get some usefull information.
Dont Change the BAPI Just pass the Header X = 'D'.
Try this Sample Program.
PARAMETERS: p_vbeln TYPE vbap-vbeln OBLIGATORY.
DATA: i_hdrx TYPE bapisdh1x.
i_hdrx-updateflag = 'D'.
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE'

Define accounts for Sales tax

Hi all,
Can somebody please tell me how to create more than one tax account for Tax on Sales/Purchase. The path to define a Tax account is
SPRO-> Financial accouting->Financial Global settings-> Tax on Sales/purchases-> Posting-> Define Tax accounts.
I have already defined one G/L account for the Output tax (MWS) and now I want to define one more G/L account. But, It is not having any option to do so.
Please help me. <b>I will award points</b>.

How to post GR to inventory account for sales order stock

I made a PO with account assignment category M. But the system is picking consumption G/L account in the PO and posting to the same G/L account in GR. How to make it inventory G/L account?

When we are giving account assignment in the PO line item means that we are posting the cost to the expence account.i.e.It is procure to consumption.That is why when we make GR for a account assigned PO line item we are not able to post the stock to inventory.
So in the PO we cannot select a inventory GL account since we are mensioning that the item is accounted for certain account assignment.We can only mension consumption or expence account.

Turn "Delete Resource Account" for Active Directory into rename/move/unlink

My Windows sysad would like me to stop deleting Active Directory users; he's tired of cleaning up from dangling SIDs, and I don't particularly blame him. Instead, he would like the process of "deleting" an AD account to be more like:
1. disable
2. rename from cn=user to cn=user_999, where 999 is replaced with an incrementing number (jsmith_001, jsmith_002, etc.). (Or maybe he;d be Ok with jsmith_yyyymmddhhmmss...)
3. move (probably in the same "rename" above) from ou=Employees to ou=4Delete.
4. unlink account from user.
We are assigning AD accounts through roles, and so the Delete Resource User (or Delete Resource Person?) task is invoked. Does anyone have a customized version of this task that differentiates between resource account types and handles the "disable/rename/move/unlink" AD account paradigm my sysad would like? -Les

Deleting Hard Drive for sale of computer

Hi Everyone....
I have a old iMac G3 Desktop computer which I want to sell.......
It has on it 10.4 (not sure which version as I haven't fired it up in a while.....)
I would like to erase the hard drive (of all applications, music, photos etc) and leave the basic OS X and I was just wondering what is the easiest way to do it......
I know I can go through and delete all of the added application folders, music and photos etc but that will probably leave a lot of excess folders I assume.....
Can I manually delete all of these folders and then use the Disk Utility to clear out the rest and leave just the basic operating system and programs?? (and how do I do that?)
Or is it easier to re-install 10.4 and use the option (from memory) of erasing the target disc when it installs it??
any advice would be appreciated.....

In addition to roam's excellent advice, I recommend that you securely erase your drive before installing a fresh copy of the OS on it. Particularly if you ever stored any sensitive information on your computer. This writes over the drive several times with random patterns to ensure that nobody can read the data that used to be on there.
If you just do a simple erase, only the pointers to the files are removed. The actual data in the files is left on the disk and anyone who wanted to could recover them. It's generally regarded as good practice nowadays to securely erase hard drives before selling them on. It is a worthwhile precaution even if you don't think that there is much on there worth retrieving.

Did you change the assigned email address of your account before you tried to change it on the iPad? If yes then you would have to change the ID back to the old email address, then sign out, then change it back to the new address and then sign in again.

My old apple ID no longer exists and my phone needs it to delete the account for iCloud, what can I do?

Tried deleting an admin on my Macbook Pro, has been 'Deleting Account' for 4 days now, will not let me shut down, log out or cancel the action, what can I do?

Clicked to delete an admin account, but when I realised it was failing to do so, I tried to close System Preferences / log out / shutdown my mac and this is what comes up:

Default account assignment for Rate difference for sales a/c

When we try to clear the vendor through F110 we are facing error. Document posted with SDRU currency. It is expiry currency. It need to clear through USD . Vendor contain customer in the master data. But we are unable post in System No 1
Another system we are able to post. It is automatically taking GL accounts for rate difference accounts for sales and purchase accounts.
Here the entry is like below

We want to compare both systems to find out the reason why it is not posing in one system

We have seen OBKP, VKOA, OBA1 . Please let us know where this Rate difference for sales a/c may be assigned

    Regarding the rate differences. These accounts come from OB09 where it is defined for the Reconcilliation account in the customer/ Vendor.
The account "Rate difference for purchases" is coming from OB09 , it is not from OBYC-KDB in this case.

That means the Restriction is set that prevents changing accounts. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and unset it so you can delete the account.
Deleting the account for one device does not effect the account on other devices.

Account for tax posting could not be determined

I am trying to post an incoming invoice thru transaction ETRANSF. I get 2 errors which are
1> "Message no. EDEREG_INV682" "In posting area 0010 you store the account determination for the sales tax (company code 0001, tax code V3)."
Action taken: Maintained the entry in FQC0 for Area 0010 - V3 - MWS(output tax)
2> Tax code V3 country DE does not exist in procedure TAXD
"If it is not an input error, check and possibly change the system settings.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
Check whether the company code is assigned to the correct country and whether the correct tax calculation procedure has been entered for the company code country.
Create a new tax code if necessary."
Not being a FI consultant, i have no clue where this entry would be maintained and am getting both the errors even after taking action mentioned in error 1.

for the first message please check the customizing in TA SPRO:
Financial Accounting (New) -> Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable -> Basic Functions -> Postings and Documents -> Document -> Define Account Assignments for Automatic Postings -> Automatic G/L Account Determination -> Define Accounts for Sales/Purchase Tax
Here you have to maintain the correct account account determination for the sales tax.
for your second message you have to check:
Financial Accounting (New) -> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Define Tax Codes for Sales and Purchases

Every cess/tax will require one GL account against it.
So in your case 3+3 different GL accounts for sales & purchases.
