Deleting info in Diagnostics & Usage

Is there a way to delete the info stored in the diagnostics and usage section? I have chosen not to send to Apple, but the information is still stored locally and seems to be quite a bit of it. Thanks.

No, the whole point of Save for Web is that it makes smaller files by deleting information not absolutely necessary for displaying the image on the web.

IOS 5: Gigabytes of Diagnostics/Usage Data, running hot, killing battery

I have what appears to be thousands of files in Diagnostics & Usage Data, all labelled with yesterday's date. Given the filenames I can see that they were being generated every second or so. Some files are very large. Most seem to be data about my wifi network. I suspect that it was constantly retrying connecting to iCloud and spitting out diagnostics. There must be GBs of data. My phone is constantly running hot, and battery is lasting 2-3 hours whereas I was getting over a day before the upgrade.
Anyone else seeing this? My phone (3GS) is effectively dead since the upgrade, needing to be constantly recharged. Do i really want to upgrade to a 4S when the software is clearly this buggy?

To clarify: By reset my phone, I mean I reset all settings and deleted all data from the phone. I also started from scratch on iTunes and I didn't use a previous backup. I made backups of all of my pictures and videos as well as important notes and text messages that I wanted to keep previously. I lost application data and settings, but I rather lose a few settings and progress on games than have a phone that runs down to shut-off after four, to five hours even when I'm not using it.

Check the Deletion Flag in Info Record.
Info records earmarked for deletion in this way are not actually deleted until the archiving program is run. You can flag an individual info record for deletion, or create a list of deletion proposals and choose the relevant records that are to be deleted from this list.
Use Tcode SARA to run archiving with object MM_EINA, refer below link for detail :

Broken iPhone 5 deleting info

Hi all got water damage on my 5s is there any way I can delete info on before sending for repair ??

Don't know what you have done after the iPhone got water on it, and if you have been able to power up the iPhone. Most people would not try to turn the iPhone on at all, until the iPhone has been thoroughly dried out in a bag of rice for two to three days. After that they try to power it up and hope for the best. If your's is dry and you can power it up, then you will have to say what functions are active. If your's has not been powered up and you plan to send it in without doing so ...then you will not be able to delete anything. If you had Find My iPhone on and the iPhone is able to be powered up, then you can use iCloud to clean the iPhone.

Everytime I look Diagnostic & usage data I see full of crash reports such as Log-aggregate, LowMemory, assistivetouchd and etc... This crashes/crash report should be the reason why my ipod touch 4th gen is slow, sometimes hangs for a second and sometimes crash apps. I already tried to reduce the memory usage to 50% and momentarily double click home button to remove the applications running at the back but still crash reports are adding and reach about 100 and still increasing! Please help me to solve this problem. Maybe give me a tip on how to avoid, minimize or remove this crashes / crash reports on my ipod touch. thank you.

How can I delete files in Diagnostics and Usage on my IPad?

My IPad has very little space left. I have deleted everything I can but notice there are files in Diagnostics and Usage. How can I delete those files to free up space?

By the way, those files in diagnostics and usage are probably not your problem, but the restore is the right step to take to solve your real problem.
The problem is that you likely have corrupt files on your iPad caused likely by suspicious apps. Restoring your iPad from a backup may help. If not, restore as new, then sync your items back to your iPad very carefully and consider removing suspicious apps.
Also check Settings > General > Usage to see if your expectations are met.

Please excuse my "creative english" I'm german but I do my very best.
My question...
Is it possible to delete the data in diagnostics&usage? If it's possible, how can I do this?
I didn't allow the device sending data to apple but it always saves crash data or whatever.
Theres no use of it for me and i don't want the iphone spend memory for this.
I just read the handbook an started internet search but i couldn't find anything special about this.

Why doesn't apple tell us, the people who paid for these products, how to delete the information that just keeps growning. COME ON APPLE, fix this.

this one use my free space and make getting lower and lower
in other commets after sync these are deleted
but in my ph after sync.. my free space also getting lower and lower
or other problem ??

Multiple users under my name, can I transfer files/data onto just one user account if I have an external H.D. when I tried to delete info off one of the accounts it said I did not have permission? I assume I was in an account that was not admin.

I noticed I have set up 4 Admin user accounts under my own name with diff. variations as seen in the attchment. Some have a diff. password to log on to which I am able to do. This computer is used for my business and I need info that is scattered on the other 3 accounts to be in/on ONE admin account.
I don't know how i ended up with multiple accounts. Maybe due to having two 24" iMacs and multiple iPhones & iPad2 for me and family.
I use this computer for business and personal.
Due to multiple Admin user accounts I have important info scattered on the other accounts resulting in some accounts have some of the info to others having much more but not ALL. Some accounts have from a couple hundred songs, podcasts, etc. etc. to a few 1,000 on another Admin account.
I want to consolidate ALL of my info, files. songs, podcasts, pictures & email etc. into one Admin account and delete the other accounts to reduce confusion.
I was told by my local Apple authorized service shop that it is not easy but moving most of the info is possible. Their caveat was email would probably not be able to be moved other than forwarding each email I wanted out of each account and opening in the account I wanted to consolidate into.
As a side note, I get an error message at times saying that I do not permission/authority to delete / move files? What might be the issue when I encounter this type message?

Preview deletes info when saving a pdf form from the IRS

This is driving me CRAZY. I have been working on my tax forms which have all been saved from the internet as a pdf through preview. When I go into the file to update numbers and try to save the file with the updated information, it won't let me. It will only let me do a "save as". If I do a "save as" and name the file the same as before (replaces original) or if I rename it, the pdf will save, but any data that I did not type in in the most recent session is deleted. So, when I open up my taxes and change a few numbers, the new numbers are saved, but all the rest of my data from before is deleted. It is making me want to scream. It does this repeatedly to different forms saved from the IRS' website and my local state's revenue website and on different days and with a shutdown in between. It isn't the websites, it is preview!
Oh, and just for info, sometimes preview will let me save the data I have updated and I don't lose anything, but then I can make a couple of more changes, go to save and the ability to "update" my current file with "save" isn't highlighted, only the "save as".
This is a brand new macbook pro, only a couple of months old. It has Preview version 5.0.3. I have done all updates that the computer has downloaded.
Any ideas anyone?

HT1620 I'm getting a message saying update cannot be installed because it requires 2.9GB of storage,it says I need to delete items in the usage settings. I only have a few apps. and by deleting all of them it still dosen't fix the problem. Any ideas???

I can't undate my software due to not enough storage. How do I delete items in Usage settings

They really need to change the wording:
"This update cannot be installed because it requires at least 4.7 GB of storage. You can make more storage available by deleting items in Usage Settings."
I understand it could be interpreted as the items found in Usage Settings can be deleted, but that should be made more obvious.
