Deleting iTunes.Using iPhone to download

I have a huge mess. Used iTunes on 1 computer. Had 3 different libraries. Bought an iPhone. Tried to consolidate libraries. Moved to external hard drive. Moved back to computer...obviously didnt do it right. I have itunes sub folders and sub - sub folders in the itunes folder...there are so many I dont know which is which. I can live with the music on my iphone...Question...can I delete all of the itunes folders and uninstall itunes..then reinstall itunes and download the music I have on my iPhone to iTunes?

No need to delete anything.
Do this...
iTunes prefs > Advanced.
Set iTunes media folder location to /Music/iTunes/.
Then iTunes menu File > Library > Organize library... and tick Consolidate files.
Let it run.
After it finishes, everythig in iTunes will be in /Music/iTunes/iTunes media/ folder.
Should look something like this...
You can then clean up all the other files/folders you have.
I'd drag them to a folder on the desktop and verify you have everything you want in iTunes deleting them.

I see the photos tab and "My Pictures" folder shows. Sync is unselected. It asks if I want to delete the photos when I click on sync and I said yes but it didn't work. It does seem that some photos are removed based on available storage left (decreases). If I select individual folders, subfolders of "My Pictures" then hit Sync deselected Sync doesn't even start.

You must have the latest version of iTunes on your PC, and you must connect the phone to your PC with a USB cable. It should then be recognized in iTunes and should restore. If it does not see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Right-click the Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, or Apple iPod entry in Device Manager and choose Update Driver from the shortcut menu.
Click "Browse my computer for driver software."
Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
Click the Have Disk button. (If the Have Disk option is not present, choose a device category such as Mobile Phone or Storage Device if listed, and click next. The Have Disk button should then appear.)
In the "Install from Disk" dialog, click the Browse button.
Use this window to navigate to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
Double-click the "usbaapl" file. (This file will be called "usbaapl64" if you have a 64-bit version of Windows. If you don't see "usbaapl64" here, or if there is no Drivers folder, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers. instead).
Click OK in the "Install from Disk" dialog.

Sorry, but your question is not clear. What do you mean you need to restore or reset your iPhone to use it again? And what does iTunes have to do with it?

How to delete mail on iphone when downloaded to thunderbird

New to iphone.
I have a comcast account and a gmail mail account.
In the gmail account when a message is moved from the inbox to a label, it gets deleted from the iphone automatically.
On the comcast account when the mail is downloaded automatically into thunderbird, the mail stays on the iphone even though it is no longer in the inbox on the comcast server.
Any ideas to get the comcast mail to auto delete from the iphone when is leaves the comcast server inbox?

Not with a POP account and Comcast supports POP account access only. A POP account is designed to be accessed with a single email client only.
A Gmail account can be accessed as an IMAP account. All server stored mailboxes with an IMAP account are kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account.

Unable to purchase tv shows or movies from iTunes using iPhone 5

I am unable to purchase tv shows or movies via iTunes on iPhone 5 running iOS7. Can purchase songs, have plenty of space available on the device, and no issues purchasing tv shows or movies from iTunes using my computer. Has anyone else had this issue?

Unable to purchase on ITunes using iPhone 5S

The issue is I'm unable to purchase any apps or music through the iTunes/ App Store on my IPhone 5S I always get a message saying please try again later.
I'm running software version 7.0.2. I select the item press download, enter correct password and always get the try again later message.
I can make purchases and download using my IPad 2 with the same account and software with no issues.
Can anyone help?

I am facing an issue on my iphone3g. I bought an album on itunes and the internet connection gone down after downloading only 4 songs, now the other songs, not yet downloaded is checked as "waiting" and nothing happens.

Recovery deleted sms using Iphone Backup Extractor

I purchased the iphone backup extractor everyone has suggested for me to find deleted sms. Its a complete joke. Scanned my files and came back with the results of sms extracted "251" so I open to see if my deleted text is in the file and there was only about 50 sent/receive sms and every sms was to the same person. I would like to know where the other "200" sms are that was extracted. Don't bother trying to get support on there website because the site doesn't have a search for help and only has Q&A solutions. Does anyone know about this software? Is there another program that will retrieve my deleted sms?

Deleting calendars on iphone

I deleted from iCal a few calendars, but -after syncing iphone with iTunes (I don't have mobileMe)- I found that deleted calendars were still on my iPhone.
I know that I cannot delete calendars using iPhone so I think that I can choose (using iTunes) to write the whole content of my iCal (from Mac) over the one in my iPhone. I suppose that this overwriting should solve the problem. Am I right? What do you think about it? Is it possible something is wrong?
Yes, guys, I've already read something about this problems, but I found the solutions clever, but not simple.
And it seems to me that my way could be easier and get the goal as well.

How can you delete empty calendars when you are not using MobileMe? Initially I had tried to sync my iPhone with both my home computer and my work computer. At home I was syncing everything. At work I only want to sync my calendar and my contacts. At present I have four calendars on my iPhone. Three of them are empty. two are named Calendar and the other two are named _ModCal6d4d.Calendar and _ModCal7b41.Calendar. What makes this even more frustrating in that the the color of the active calendar changes frequently. I have tried syncing from iTunes on my work PC and inicating that the PC should replace the calendars but this does seem to make a difference. I have tried selecting a single calendar but that doesn't seem to remove the other calendars.
This is quite frustrating. If anyone has a solution I would greatly appreciate hearing it.

Accidentally deleted iTunes - can't reinstall it!

I'm new to Macs, and I thought i was deleting an Alias, but I actually deleted iTunes. I tried downloading it from this Apple, and it won't let me reinstall. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I did not uninstall iTunes, however I was installing AirPort Express. When I installed it, it removed my iTunes! I thought maybe I need to restart again. When I did, it still wasn't there! So I ran the installer again, and it installed iTunes... version 4! Figured, that is ok, now let's run the updater... no go. So I downloaded the latest version from the website... unable to install, it skips/disable the selection to install iTunes.
This procedure your mentioned worked like a charm and I am installing the latest version at the moment (6.0.4). But maybe you (or someone else who is reading this) knows why AirPort express uninstalled iTunes?
It is not a bigge, except I now maxed out on my limit of Authorized computers, since the other installation did not deauthorize. =/ Maybe I did something wrong during the installation?

Most of my library is being deleted of my iPhone 6 and iTunes no longer downloads purchases unless I select them manually from the cloud??

I have recently purchased an iPhone 6 64GB and upgraded to Yosemite on my old MBA. Two main issues.
1. iTunes does not automatically download purchases from the store, if I go store -> check for available downloads it tells me that I have no available downloads, yet I have about 10 albums and 10 films and countless TV series in the cloud. I can select to download these manually, but why does the check for available downloads not work?
2. Most annoyingly my iPhone 6 keeps losing 90% of my music library. Previously I have been using an old iPhone 4s and used the iTunes Match service. I moved to China, music streaming is no longer an option due to terrible internet connections, blocked internet access etc etc, so initially I tried to download my music collection over wifi - took a long time, got there in the end. Then most of it disappeared, so I turned off iTunes Match on my MBA and iPhone and took to syncing old school via a cable, the library copied across (accept the music that iTunes had decided not to downloaded....) and all was good with the world again. Then this morning I went to access my library I had gone from 5000+ songs to 500 songs, my iPhone showed 50gb of free space. The only change over the weekend was that I turned on iTunes match on my Apple TV (which is kinda useless other than airplay with all internet issues here but thats a whole different story), but this shouldn't have affected my iPhone as match was turned off on it... plus I am sure iTunes Match shouldn't just delete my library....
Any thoughts?!

Just an update, following last nights USB sync all music shows as In the library on my iPhone, however only the same 500 or so songs are playable, the rest go from appearing to be in the library to going into the cloud and starting to download when manually selected. If on shuffle the music skips over them. The iPhone memory usage shows only about 10gb used most of which is for the iOS/apps, so once again my music library is not on my iPhone. Apple have managed to take a great product and turn it into a steaming pile of turd.

Download a free app and try again, you can delete the free app afterward.
