Deleting Lines When Copying To AR Invoice

Hi All,
SAP Business One 2007 A SP01 PL05
I want to know is there a way when copying from a Sales Order to an AR Invoice to delete lines where there is no stock available?
For example I have a Sales Order with two lines on is for item one and I am ordering 10 and there is 20 in stock. Line two is for item two and I am ordering 10 and there is 0 in stock. Now when I copy to AR Invoice I want it to delete line two as there is no stock for that item.
Is this possible and if so could somebody tell me how?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Quinn........
When you copy from SO to AR Invoice in between you get the Wizard where you can customize to select the items row wise and there you can enable InStock Column through Form Setting.
This way you can come to know the stock status of the item and there itself you can deselct the line......

Hi Jitin,
1. For this case, the sales order line status is not closed and the open qty is also not zero although the SO qty are fully invoiced
2. Customer SBO version is 8.8 PL13.
3. There is no SP_TransactionNotification created in this customer environment.
FYI, there is no target entry shown in the sales order document as well. Hence, customer is not able to trace which open sales order has been copied to an AR Invoice target document.
Customer has a few scenarios for the above issue:
1. Multiple Sales orders copied to 1 AR Invoice.
2. One sales order to many AR Invoice.
Since there is no target entry updated in the sales order, is there any SQL query to check which sales order has been copied to a AR Invoice document to rectify the above issue.

Dreamweaver CS5.5 Deleting Code When Copying a File

When I try to copy or duplicate a file in Dreamweaver CS5.5 for Mac, Dreamweaver removes the last five or six lines of code. I have to create a lot of nearly-identical webpages with the same footer information on each page, and it's really tiresome having to go back into each page and re-create the code Dreamweaver has deleted. I've updated both the Dreamweaver and OS software, but it hasn't corrected the problem. It doesn't matter whether I use the "copy", "paste", "duplicate" Dreamweaver functions, or if I simply use Command+C, Command+V. I can't seem to find anyone online having a similar problem. Do any of you know of a fix?

On the remote server side, I can right-click, say, index.html and copy or duplicate it. It's in that process that the code is being chopped off.
I never work that way and wouldn't want to for a variety of reasons.
Best to open index.html in your Local Site.
Hit File > SaveAs "some-new-filename.html"
Try doing that a few times and report back with your results.

Extended Table Maintenance Events 05: Original line when copy entry?

Hello,
in the Extended Table Maintenance Events 05 I want to copy my own tables. For that I need to know not only the newly created line, but also the original line which was the template for the copy.
I know this line is contained in table EXTRACT, but how do I identify it?
Is there an index pointing to the "old" line inside EXTRACT?
Is there a work area containing the old line?
I thought workarea EXTRACT contains the old line and <TABLE1> the new line, but debugging proofed that both are the same.
Any idea?

G/L Account is different when copying from a Invoice to AR Credit note

Hi,
An item managed by Item level and standard price.
On posting an AR Invoice in the row level there is an G/L acount which defaulted from the revenue account X. On copying this to a AR Credit Note the G/L Account is Y different in the item row level.
from where are these accout defaulted from G/L Account determination, item group....?
Is this correct or something that i am missing

Hi Rakesh,
There are 2 GLs applicable to AR credit memos. As Jimmy mentioned, check the IMD record / Inventory tab to see the GL setup.
The two fields in an AR credit are: Sales Credit Account (should be your revenue account) and Sales Return Account - this one is used if an Inventory item is involved and is usually the Inventory GL (i.e. increases the $ value).
You can update your Forms Settings to view these fields on the IMD/Inventory tab window to see these fields.

How do I repair lines when copying with my LaserJet 3050?

It is not my scanner I check it and it works fine, the problem is where the print itself is created. Almost like something is stuck like dirt or dust and it places it on every copy I make?

I have vertical lines when printing even after changing cartridges. There are no lines when copying, faxing or scanning, only printing. I have cleaned the glass, scanner and even dusted where the toner cartride slides in. Any suggestions?

Sorry but I have worked on laser printers for over 20 years and never encountered your issue. That is of course if you are explaining it correctly. When you make a copy to be printed or print a reports page from the printer or send a print job to the printer, if in all these cases you get the line, then yes the issue is either the toner cartridge or the fuser. If you make a copy to be printed and it prints without the line (Put original in adf, press copy button and print should come out), then you have one weird unit since it does not make sense since the print formatter on the unit whether making a copy or printing from the computer or unit itself uses the same hardware. Now to test if the printed copy has a line then just put a sheet of paper on top of the feed tray and do a self test from the printer. When the back edge of the paper enters the printer, quickly open the toner door to stop the printing. Remove the toner cartridge and look at the image below. If the defect is present the toner cartridge is the issue and if the image below does not have the defect, then the fuser needs to be replaced. Best I can do. Good Luck.

Advanced table copy and delete slow when done programatically

I am modifying a line in an advanced table, then copying it and deleting it. What I noticed is that
it takes a lot less time to copy and delete manually within the application verses doing it programatically.
To copy or delete 10 lines it takes about 1 or 2 seconds within the form. When I do this programatically
it can take up to 20 seconds. Does anyone know why it takes so much longer?

I timed these too and they appeared to completed very quickly. The only events that took a significant amount of time where the calls to the executeServerCommand when I copied and deleted lines.
Can the database connection and looping the resultset be slowing these activities down?
There is no VO existing that generates the query results I am looking for. Do I need to create my own VO?

Single Vertical Line When Using ADF for Scan or Copy on HP Officejet Pro 8600

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium Printer (CN577A)
OS: MS 7 64 bit
When using the ADF for my CN577A HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium printer, I get a single vertical line on the document that is produced. This occurs when copying or scanning, both in black and white, and in color. If I scan or copy using the glass, I don't get the vertical line.
I already tried the troubleshooting. I unplugged the printer, left it without power for several minutes; that didn't correct the problem. Next, I cleaned the rollers and the glass; I still get the vertical line, but only when using the ADF.
My firmware version used is current (CLP1CN1150CR).
What should I check next?

The ADF uses its own glass area on the scanner bed, it is the narrow (about 1" wide) strip on the left. Cleaning this area should resolve the issue. A single small spot would cause the issue you are seeing.

Request: "Draw Document Wizard" when copying from Sales Order to A/R Invoic

Hi Colleagues
Our clients complain about not being able to choose the exchange rate from the base document when copying the Sales Order to A/R Invoice.
The "Draw Documents Wizard", where you can choose this option, starts only when you're in the "A/R Invoice" form and copying data from the Sales Order. But "Draw Document Wizard" doesn't start when you're in the Sales Order and copying all its data to an A/R Invoice, and they use only this sequence.
Is it possible to add the "Draw Documents Wizard" for the "Sales Order -> A/R Invoice" chain in one of the next versions of SAP BusinessOne 2007?

2LIS_02_ITM deleted line items are not reflected in BW

Hi,
Our current Data flow 2LIS_02_ITM-->DSO-->CUBE.
I am analyzing a Invoice, When it is created 01.04.2014 it has got 10 Line Items and all the data is load to BW,Invoice with 10 Line items.
In ECC I can now see the same Invoice only got 5 line items and from change log I can see 5 line items are deleted on 15.04.2014.These changes are not reflected in BW.In BW invoice data still shows 10 line items.
If I perform setup table job and ECC RSA3 for that invoice I am getting only 5.
I believe it’s something to do with 0RECORDMODE,Can you please let me know how to fix this in BW.

Yes this is a known behavior in case of deltas.
For Deleted line items Rocancel field will have an entry with R.
To handle this you need to map ROCANCEL field in Technical group of transformation (Between Datasource to DSO) with 0Recordmode.
Once you will do that then after activating the data in DSO it will nullify the records and deleted order or item will not appear.
