Deleting mails from iPhone & iPad2 doesn´t work! - Any help?

I´ve got a problem both with my iPhoe & iPad2: Quite often some deleted mails refuse to disappear from the devices´ memory but bounce back visible within few seconds. Deleting seems to remove them from the mail server because of those mails disappear from the screen of my PC (IMAP settings of the e-mail account). The same happens often when I delete some mails via my PC from the server but they still remain visible in iPhone & iPad resisting deleting.
Has anyone else met similar behaviour and found cure for it? I´ve called to the e-mail provider and they know the problem but point to Apple. Quite obvious because of the server reacts on deleting and the mails disappear from there. For some reason the delete message doesn´t reach iPhone & iPad and the mails remain sitting in the devices. Apple also knows the problem, called them few times, but nothing has happened to fix the problem - "under investigation".
The only cure that has been "working" to permanently delete those boomerang mails is to remove and reinstall the e-mail account. Quite boring to do that sometimes few times a day.

Ofcourse, that´s been done properly and also checked both by the e-mail service provider´s and Apple´s tech support personnel. They just say: "Known problem, sorry!" I expressed this question here to check whether some of the world wide heavy users would be cleverer than those corporate gurus.

IPad Air - swipe to read mail from lock screen doesn't work

Bought an iPad Air and have a small problem. When I try to swipe to read mail from lock screen, it won't go directly to the mail app itself. Can anyone help or tell me what the problem is??

Open HUB ( SAP BW ) to SAP HANA through DB Connection data loading , Delete data from table option is not working Please help any one from this forum

Issue:
I have SAP BW system and SAP HANA System
SAP BW to SAP HANA connecting through a DB Connection (named HANA)
Whenever I created any Open Hub as Destination like DB Table with the help of DB Connection, table will be created at HANA Schema level ( L_F50800_D )
Executed the Open Hub service without checking DELETING Data from table option
Data loaded with 16 Records from BW to HANA same
Second time again executed from BW to HANA now 32 records came ( it is going to append )
Executed the Open Hub service with checking DELETING Data from table option
Now am getting short Dump DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_KNOWN getting
If checking in SAP BW system tio SAP BW system it is working fine ..
will this option supports through DB Connection or not ?
Please follow the attachemnet along with this discussion and help me to resolve how ?

Here the issue is At OH level ( Definition Level - DESTINATION TAB and FIELD DEFINITION )
in that there is check box i have selected already that is what my issue even though selected also
not performing the deletion from target level .
SAP BW - to SAP HANA via DBC connection
1. first time from BW suppose 16 records - Dtp Executed -loaded up to HANA - 16 same
2. second time again executed from BW - now hana side appaended means 16+16 = 32
3. so that i used to select the check box at OH level like Deleting data from table
4. Now excuted the DTP it throws an Short Dump - DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_KNOWN
Now please tell me how to resolve this ? will this option is applicable for HANA mean to say like , deleting data from table option ...

HT4623 iOS 6 update and now my iPhone 4 doesn't work, any suggestions?

I updated my iphone 4 to the new ios 6 and now it doesn't work. It keeps shutting off when I use the apps and try to make calls; when it does shut off I can't get it to turn on again as well. I have tried to hold the home button and the lock button simultaneously but that doesn't do anything. I have tried 3 times to restore it but I keep having the same issue. The power percentage does not increase either. I charged it all day yesterday and last night and it still reads 54%. It only stays on when it is plugged into the wall outlet, not to my computer as well. Can anyone help?

Try going to Settings>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Deleting mail from iPhone

Is there a way of deleting the entire inbox of a mail account without going through each individual e-mail?

It depends on how you access the Hotmail account on your iPhone.
If you access the account as a POP account, deleting a message with the iPhone has no effect on messages stored on the server unless you have the option to remove messages from the server when a message is removed from the account's Inbox mailbox.
If you access the account as an Exchange account, deleting a message from the account's Inbox mailbox also deletes the message on the server.

You probably messed up the password/ server set up. Delete the account from the pad, and re enter it. Pay real close attention to the password entry. Upper lower case etc. if they ask you for an optional name a second time, fill it in. G mail works fine on mine.

Photo Stream in my iPad2 doesn't work. Help me

Since I have updated my iPad 2 to 5.1.1 version, the photo stream worked well but today it doesn't. I capture one photo in my ipad but that photo isn't uploaded to photo stream so i can't get it in another devices.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Thanks all so much.

Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.

Deleting Mail from POP

Can somebody kindly correct or confirm my understanding about deleting mail from iPhone.
I use a .com POP account and use Eudora on my Mac.
When I trash & delete an email from iPhone, this will not delete the mail from the POP account -- correct?
Also, if I used Apple Mail instead of Eudora, would syncing cause Mail app to delete from POP the messages that are trashed & deleted from the iPhone?
In short, am I correct that deleting mail from iPhone has no affect on POP server unless you use and sync to Apple's Mail app?

as long as your setting for deleting mail from the server is set to "never" on the iPhone, you won't have any problems.

Deleted data from iphone thanks to itunes synchronisation

Yesterday, without realising it, I synchronised my iphone (thanks to this automatic synchronisation service offered as a default on itunes, grrrr) to my husband's itunes account which had NOTHING on it. I have now lost everything on my iphone, including apps, photos, purchased itunes, saved contacts, everything. The setting on the iphone has gone back to basics. Can someone please tell me if there is a way for me to recover everything that itunes deleted from my iphone? I have searched through itunes and my iphone, and there is nothing that specifically answers the issue of accidentally deleting data from iphone due to itunes synchronisation. HELP!

In regards to iTunes content, an iPhone can be synced with an iTunes library on a single computer only, and photos can be transferred via the iTunes sync/transfer process from a single computer only.
Even with iTunes set to sync an iPod or iPhone automatically when connected, when connecting an iPhone to iTunes on a different computer than is used to sync with the iPhone, a warning message is provided along with a warning message that all iTunes content on the iPhone will be erased first, which must be approved.
Contacts on your iPhone are not touched unless you select to sync contacts with a supported address book application on the computer which is selected under the Info tab for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, which is not selected automatically.
3rd party apps can be downloaded again with iTunes on a computer that is logged in with your iTunes account or with your iPhone and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to download the app that was used to purchase the app originally, but not the same with music, which can be downloaded once.

I've changed my ID mail and now iCloud doesn't work on iPhone

I've changed my ID mail and now iCloud doesn't work. Everything is working, even if I access to iCloud from Safari (with my new ID) but i have the problem on my iPhone and iPad.
It keeps asking my password and the mail is the one i had before, it's like it didn't change. I've tried both passwords, old and new and no solution. I've changed twice the password thinking it would be the problem and still isn't working.
So now I can't do anything because there's no password to access so i can't even delete my iCloud account.
Is there anything i can do to make it work? It's weird that everything works except this.

Alright, please follow these steps in order to get it working properly again.
Please change your Apple ID back to your old email address (that you used as Apple ID before) here: http://appleid.apple.com
Then go to all your devices - iPhones, iPads, Mac etc. - ("Settings > iCloud") and delete your iCloud account from this devices (+ turn off Find My iPhone, but I guess it will ask you that anyway)
After that go back to http://appleid.apple.com sign in again, and now change your Apple ID again to your new email address.
Finally, set up your iCloud account on all your devices again.
Now, everything should working properly again.

I see the photos tab and "My Pictures" folder shows. Sync is unselected. It asks if I want to delete the photos when I click on sync and I said yes but it didn't work. It does seem that some photos are removed based on available storage left (decreases). If I select individual folders, subfolders of "My Pictures" then hit Sync deselected Sync doesn't even start.

Advanced sync settings - deleting mail from Itouch not working

There's a new setting in Syncing in iTunes under Info tab that offers a chance to delete mail, bookmarks etc on my iTouch and update from puter, but doesn't work. Emails still on touch - have to delete manually. Any ideas?

Hi there-unfortunately I flagged this on here way back when the phone had only been out a few days.Nokia support were hopeless and eventually told me to take it to a Nokia shop(there isn't one locally) so I dug my heels in and they got an 'expert' to phone me. Basically the answer is you can't take them off the phone the delete from phone is useless and a waste of time because it does nothing. I have lost a lot of emails trying and the only way to get rid of them is to either remove from server too and re synchronise(which you may not want to do-like me !) or remove them on your email account and re synchronise the phone and they go. Apparently the way it connects to the server on this model it is the only way they can do it!! Complete rubbish- I like the phone but this is completely stupid. Sorry it's not want you want to hear but they do know about it and it is designed that way not a bug!

That is a function of your email account, if it is an Imap account it will sync, if it's a POP account, it won't.
Who provides your email.
