Deleting Multiple Mailboxes All At One Time

When I bought an iMac, the Apple Store transferred (imported) a large number of email messages and from my PC to my new iMac and placed them in mailboxes. I no longer need the imported mailboxes and their content. How can I delete multiple mailboxes (and their content) all at once vs. one by one?

Those individual boxes are in this location:
~yourUserNameHome/Library/Mail
If you're comfortable poking around in there you can sort and then delete. Close MAIL first and when you're done, they should be gone the next time you open it.
I don't recommend this as a casual approach, however, so if you have any hesitation, just delete one by one inside MAIL instead.
Make sure to have a backup ...and good luck in any case.

You may be right about the trick no longer working. I have only used it once or twice and that was just as an experiment. I will quit posting the link now if it no longer works.

it took me weeks of research to figure out finally how to decode this yet another secretive secrets of apple. there is a perfect way of deleting ALL emails at once without jailbreaking your iphone or ipad...and here it is:
Open Inbox>>EDIT >> check/select the top message, it will highlight the move button >>press and hold the move button and uncheck the message that you had checked earlier >> lift all your fingers off from the ipad screen and leave it alone. wait until all your messages pile up on the right hand portion of the screen (in ipad). iphone will give you the actual number of emails it has selected for the action. now they are just waiting for your command to be moved ALL at once. >> choose trash to delete all of them or any other folder where u want to move them, like one piece. remember this will replicate your action on the server so u will ACTUALLY move them or delete them on the server and not just the ipad.
once you have moved all messages to trash you can either leave them there for the scheduled cleaning or empty it right away by doing this: go to trash folder and click edit. the delete all button shows up at the bottom of the screen. hit it! you r done!
if you do not see effects of your actions on the server make sure you have enabled Your email accounts for such actions.
tips:
1. please give enough time (could take upto several minutes depending the number of emails to be moved) for the emails to be selected for the move. your screen will become unresponsive while all emails are being packaged. once emails are ready, in ipad, you will see them zoomed out on the right hand side of the screen, and in iphone you will see the message showing you the actual number of messages that have been selected.
2. avoid purging very large number of emails, the mail app might freeze or crash. if your inbox has thousands of emails change your sync settings in mail settings to fill lesser number of emails in you inbox

Somehow a couple of my birthdays managed to multiply when combining calendars. One birthday has about 100 duplicate entries. Has anyone tried ical alarmist - does it work well? Or is there another easy way to delete multiple entries at one time? Thanks

To my knowledge there is no delete all events option in calendars. You'll have to delete them one by one.

Can you select multiple contacts all at one time when composing an email?

Would like to know if there's a way to select multiple contacts when composing a large blast email to family etc. I really don't want to create a separate group I would rather just select from contacts as I go. This list changes depending what I'm emailing. Just ***** when trying to send mass email out on the fly while staying in touch with family.

The only way I know is to select Edit at the top of the mailbox list of messages. Then touch the circle by each you want to delete. When finished selecting, press Delete at the bottom of that window.

You can delete them all at one time but unfortunately you have to check them first. Then in Trash you can delete all.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

what you're missing to export multiple files is the batch export command available in the file menu or by control clicking on the items in the browser. You can export multiple sequences/clips at full resolution with this.

Correct. That box is typically checked by default. There are other default settings you could change that would not result in a full-quality version, but what I meant was hitting that option from the pull-down menu, then changing nothing and hitting ok.

Shift-click the photos or Ctrl-click them to select them, then right-click one of them and choose Delete from Catalog. They will all go together.

I have a iphone 4 and today it started piling up over 4000 undeliverable messages for no apparent reason. I somehow managed to stop the process but I am left with over 4000 messages that I need to delete. How do you remove multiple email messages at one time. Just figured it out - I can select multiple messages as you suggested when I am not in full screen mode.
So once I come out of full screen mode - then the multiple windows open.

Ther is no supported way or feature that allows you select all mail at once for deletion. I was in a discussion where a user came up with a trick that seems to work. Read this and try it.

Open your Photos App > Camera Roll > At the top right corner you will see a rectangle with a right arrow, select that. Now you can select as many photos as you want and you can hit the red Delete button on the bottom right.

Replace audio in multiple video clips at one time

Hello. I am new to the forum so I apologize if I break any of the rules!
I have a collection of tutorial videos, all edited but the audio had some balance issues. The files were not in Premiere Pro at the time. They are the final edited videos but then I was told the audio needed to be adjusted.
I have re-balanced the audio, saved the audio as wav files and now I need to replace the old audio (in the finished video file) with the new audio (the wav files I edited and saved). The timing is all the same. It's just a matter of replacing the current file.
Is this doable as a batch process? Is it doable in Premiere Pro or do I need to use Audition or some other Adobe software?
I hope this makes sense.

Filter the mail based on mail addressed "To: (Your email address). The action is to send it to the "trash " folder. In effect, the trash folder automatically becomes your Inbox. Save what you want by moving items from trash. Then touch "edit" "delete all".
