Deleting one note deletes all

I had several notes created with the standard iPod Touch notes applications. The main screen showed Notes(3) and listed my three notes.
I didn't need one of them so I tapped to get into the note, and then selected the trash can to delete it.
A confirmation dialog appeared and I selected "Delete note".
After that it took me back to the main notes page and said I had no notes -- i.e. it deleted all 3 of my notes.
I duplicated the problem once by adding dummy notes. But then the third time,
and since then I haven't reproduced the problem.
I was able to retrieve ONE of my missing notes by restoring from a backup.
Has anyone else observed this problem before? How would we report a defect like this to the application developers?

Sorry, I couldn't understand your concern. Could you please explain the word "dis-invite"? How did you dis-invite one specific conference room?

iTunes Match is a subscription system that allows you to upload your own music (e.g. coped from CDs) to the cloud so that it shows (in the cloud) on your devices and computers without having to sync/copy it.
Automatic downloads allows to, for example, buy an app on your computer's iTunes and have it automatically download on your phone without having to connect and sync it or go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your download and download it yourself - but doing that, going to the Purchased tab and redownloading an app, should get it associated.
But no, I'm not aware of any problems that not having it associated causes.

Deleting duplicated 'Notes' deleted all of them...

In Notes, all my notes were listed twice. When I deleted one of the duplicates to clean up the list, it deleted both. How do I get them back? I don't see them in 'trash'.

Back up all data.
Check the Mail, Contacts & Calendar preference pane to make sure you're synchronizing Notes in more than one account.
If you're not, disable Notes synchronization temporarily.
Quit Notes, if it's running.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes
Copy the whole line of text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return. A Finder window should open with a folder selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop.
The folder you're moving is named "com.apple.Notes" It is not the subfolder named "Data" or anything else.
Re-enable Notes synchronization.
Relaunch Notes and test. If it works now, delete the folder you moved. Otherwise, quit again, and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place.
Caution: If you delete some or all of the contents of the selected folder, but leave the folder itself in place, the application may not launch. Deleting the folder will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.

I have two identical Mail accounts. How can I delete one without losing all the mail in both accounts?

If I try to delete one account, I get a warning that all mail in the accounts will be permanently lost. How can I delete one of the duplicate accounts without losing messages in both accounts?

Download the yahoo email app, if you already deleted and reinstalled the email account and still have issue.
This is a known issue with Yahoo email account.

Distrubuted application .ipa installed icon not deleted and not deletable

We are developing an app with distribute it to the test devices via web as .ipa file for installation.
Installation and app work fine under ios 7 but on ipad,iphone but the installation icon (the left one) is not deleted and cannot be deleted.
Even if deleting the app itself (the right icon) the install fragment is
completed and the installation button you cant delete it how can we cross this problem any one please help me

running a 450Mhz powerbook, when the requirments for
iTunes is a 500Mhz, Not sure if this should matter.
I have all of the iTunes installation requirements except for the 500Mhz. Plus I'm running on a Desktop computer not a 'powerbook.' Does anyone know whether the 50Mhz makes a difference? If so, how do I fix that. I need my iTunes and QuickTime to work!

NSS Delay Purge for deleted files not deleted volumes

Does anyone know how to set the "Delay Purge" for deleted files on an
NSS volume, not, deleted volumes. I have a problem in our company, they
want to use the automatic purge feature for deleted files but, they
want to set a "Delay" on the purging. I know you can set the Delay
Purge for deleted volumes, but I can't find a setting (if it even
exist) for Delay Purge for deleted files. Can anyone help. Thank you.
BTY, there're running NW 6.0 NSS 3.05.

I use toolbox and cron to rune a manual purge pass on the server once a
week.
A line in crontab:
00 02 * * 0 purge sys: -a -d=35
will purge volume sys every sunday at 2:00 and purge all files deleted 35
and more days before.

There is cascaded standby setup on this database. Now even if the archives are applied on the standby database, the "delete obsolete" is deleting obsolete backups but not the archives.

Hi Khurram,
The "_log_deletion_policy" parameter is set to ALL. So keeping archive log destination 'mandatory' is not necessary.

Delete does not delete messages

Starting on 03/20/2014, the Delete button no longer works either in the message or view pane. Selecting the message and hitting the Delete button on my keyboard has no effect either. If I have not read the selected message, it will change to un-read but not delete it. I can move messages to folders except for Trash.
I removed and reinstalled Thunderbird but when I opened it for the first time, all my setting remained as if I never deleted it.
My PC is running Windows 7
Thunderbird version is 24.4.0

You possibly have a corrupted folder. First create a full backup of your profile.

Then try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder.
Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder .

Deleted but not deleted

When deleting audio or video we are asked if we want to keep the file or move it to the trash. I have mistakenly chosen the default that keeps the file in the iTunes Music folder although invisible to the interface.
I back up my iTunes folder and do not want these files. Is there a way of forcing iTunes to show all the files in it's folder thus ignoring the invisibility setting? (threw script or console entry maybe?)

For your situation, it looks to me like you are confused about "saving" of a query to Favorites (which I assume id what you are calling "Preferities"). What you really save in the Favorites is just a link to run the query on the Web. The query itself is saved as an object in the database, associated with the InfoProvider. So if you delete the entry in your Favorites, you are not deleting the query but just the link that was created to run it on the Web.
As mentioned before, RSZDELETE is the way to actually delete the query.
Hope this helps (and my apologies for the confusing earlier post)...

PR created, released and then RFQ created with reference to PR, RFQ Maintained, then PO created with respect to RFQ.
Scenario 1:
PR>>RFQ>>PO : Delete PR, the system not allowing u2013 Says RFQ exist u2013 100% correct
Scenario 2:
PR>>RFQ>>PO : Delete PO, the system allows to delete PO, then Delete PR, the system allows to delete it, even though RFQ exist u2013 system should not allow this behavior, how to map this?

3.PR>>RFQ>>PO - PO Deleted, then Delete the PR, even though RFQ exist, the system allows, my requirement is System should not allow this, it should say RFQ exist.

i have deleted a query, but after deletion, if i try to reassign the same techical name to another query, the system say "technical name already exist!"!!!
There is 1 record in V_REP_JOIN with "M" status................

Delete query not deleted

Hi Guys,
I had a query and I made a copy and deleted the original query. Than I tried to rename the copy with the same name, but couldnt do that saying that it exist. I tried RSZDELETE but that query doesnt come up in the list. In Table RSZCOMPDIR, there is still a modified version.
The funny part doesnt end here. I tried doing the same with other Query. Make copy, delete original and rename copy to original, it worked without a problem.

What happens when you try to delete the query in the query designer? If there is something attached to the query, like (View..) when you delete the query it won't get deleted unless you delete the view which was attached to it.

How to set different levels of item permissions (delete one vs. delete all)

In the help documentation I find:
"Manage Content
A user with the Manage Content privilege can add, edit, hide, show, share, and delete, any item, portlet, or tab on the page."
I find that this is not the case. Manage content gives the user the ability to delete only his or her own items.
Anyway, what I need is for some "content admins" to be able to delete all (preferably without being granted Portal Administrator rights) and for the rest to be able to handle his or her own entries.
Tips are highly appreciated.

here is how the ACL rights work:
view: view only - no edit mode
manage items with approval: view/add/edit items. kicks off an approval process. changes active after approval.
manage items: view/add/edit/delete content (all content)
manage: everything + create sub folders + change page properties
if you need more granular rights you would have to setup differnt pages for different users/groups and assign them the priveleges you want.

Icloud notes on my windows 7 PC deletes new notes and all my typing is lost

I have spent 2 hours typing a long document into icloud notes on my Windows 7 PC. I could see the time updating on the left hand side in the notes list for my current note. I also saw the note appear on my iPhone 5, but I did not open or edit it.
After I had finished and reread the long note I clicked on the second note on the left hand side to read that note and the first note I had been working on disappeared completely from the notes list.
This is the fourth time that iCloud Notes has lost my long note.
I write long legal emails into iCloud notes so that I can get up from my PC, take my iPhone or iPad away from my desk and still be able to work on the email. When I finally finish the long note I copy it from notes into my email and send it to the lawyer.
Can anyone help me to recover my long note? Ive spent hours on it.
Also can Apple please fix this bug , it is very frustrating

All you need to do is have iCloud Control Panel installed on your PC and turn on the Photos option once you have signed in. After that, just check in your Pictures folder and there will be a section for My Photo Stream.

Inbound delivery item deleted is not deleted from BI DSO?

An Inbound deliver created and pushed to BI..
Source PSA is FULL UPDATE and DTP is DELTA UPDATE
Ex: 800000 10   10000
                    20 10000
This is what pushed to ODS..Later next day,
they deleted the to 800000 10 10000
So PSA is refreshed with one item .
800000 10 10000
whereas DSO still shows as follows:
800000 10 10000
              20 10000
I have following options:
1. convert DTP to FULL update, so the data gets refreshed..
2. ELse delete the only one record..
But user sometimes need to delete the inbound delivery....based on item required..
we cannot go and delete everytime for this issue..
What are the best solutions that you experts can suggest.??

This is a known problem in ECC-BI.   Deliveries can only be deleted from ECC system but can not be cancelled. So the extractor is not able to provide a deleted image for the record.
Two solution can be there,
1. Full Load of all BI target every day ---this solution is practical only when your data volume is less and full load does not take much time. But if your data volume is huge and flow is complex one then this is not the solution.
2. Second solution is to identify which Delivery Doc - Item combination got deleted from ECC system and then you can just put a flag against those documents.
You can easily find which doc- item got deleted from CDPOS and CDHDR entry. In our project we created one DataSource based on InfoSet Query ( SQ02) on CDPOS ( item level) and CDHDR ( header level) and pulling all the documents which got deleted in ECC system. For all those Delivery-Item we put a deletion flag and restrict the query accordingly.
in CDPOS following fields are important.
a) CHNGIND: Change Type (U, I, S, D) u2013 This field shows whether the entry is deleted, updated or inserted. We are here interested in the value: D (Deleted).
b) OBJECTCLAS: Object class u2013 This field is used to get the data related to Deliveries, Sales etc. For deliveries, value is LIEFERUNG; For Sales, value is VERKBELEG
c)TABNAME: Table Name u2013 This field contains the table name from which the value is deleted. The tables for Deliveries are LIKP and LIPS. To get the item level data, keep the value as LIPS.
d) TABKEY is 18 characters long field, in which first 3 numbers is the client number, next 10 shows the document number and next 5 shows the item number. E.g.: 750001099999900010, where 750 is client, 0010999999 is document number and 00010 is item number
