Deleting personal information

I am giving my old imac away and wish to delete personal information. I have deleted keychain. Still information comes up. For example when I fill in an on line form the information is automatically entered. My bank card number comes in the bank sign on window. How do I delete this information?

The best way to ensure all personal information and data is removed is by using the original install package that shipped this iMac and reformat the hard drive HFS+ or extended with Journaling enabled (which erases the hard drive) and then re-install the OS and included software.
When finished, do not create a user login account and shut down the computer.
When the person who receives this Mac turns it on for the first time, he/she will be greeted with the computer setup assistant which will make the iMac truly theirs and this also ensures none of your existing data is available.

Please make your request to Skype Customer Service directly. The Skype website indeed limits what information can be removed. Here is a link to the instruction on how to contact Skype Customer Service via their secure portal: Contact Customer Service Skip past Step 2 of the instruction where various information will appear for your review and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request.
I would also highly recommend you change the password for your e-mail account if you have not already done so.

Privacy settings aren't working even though they're all appropriately checked off.
I think Firefox is saving cookies??

Let all cookies expire when you close Firefox.
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Keep until": "I close Firefox"
Make an Allow exception for the ones that you want to keep.
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"
You can inspect and modify the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences" (Site Preferences includes the cookie exceptions)

Please check the usecase for the IT002.
It should be
40 0002 A1
and the time constraint should be 1 for IT002.
There might be a mismatch in the records here in your system.
Also try to restart the j2ee engine again, Some times it will also help in correcting the error.

You do realize that there are many, many email providers and without knowing which one you are talking about, there is no way to answer your question?
Which then leads to this ..... Have you contacted your email provider about this? That's probably the best place to start. See what they recommend.

When I did RFC trace analysis (using ST 22) this is what i get.

I got a fraud alert from Firefox when entering in personal information...did the personal information go through, or did Firefox stop it?

I got a fraud email from "Apple" saying that my Apple ID had been used to make a charge on my account, from Russia, and I needed to confirm some information to delete the charge.
Like a dummy, I entered in my personal information. When I clicked done, I got a webpage in my Firefox browser saying that it was a fraudulent website and chose the option to "Get me out of here!"
I'm wondering if my personal information actually went through, or if Firefox stopped it because that was a known fraudulent site?

It's possible that the information went through (and BTW, Apple would never send you an e-mail like the one that you sent, that's an easy scam to identify).
To be safe, change any passwords associated with any accounts you have that could have been compromised due to this. Apple ID, E-mail, etc.

ESS 50.4 Personal Information iViews customization

We are using ESS 50.4 on EP 6.0. With a very tight deadline, I need to remove/hide some buttons and icons in the Personal Information iViews.
I need to hide the buttons - NEW, Change, Display, Delete
I need to hide the icon that looks like three columns and when clicked on provides
'Help for user-defined settings'
Does anyone have the instructions to make these changes? If so, I would greatly appreciate you sharing the information with me.

Display error In Personal Information of ESS

Hi all,
When we goto Personal Information of the ESS, and then to Family members/dependents- it displays a screen with details of family members added, if mother details are added , the details of Mother are displayed with the following entries.
First Name - " first name"
Last Name- " empty"
Date of Birth - " last name"
message.BizcardField4 - "date"
So if you observe, the entries are arranged wrongly(misplaced) and a new field is displayed.
How do we rectify this error ?

2. In the layout of the ReviewView select Name Prefix label.
3. Select the Name prefix Text View which is in the Outline window.
For this text view in the properties of this text view delete
SelectedInfotype.Vorsw from the text field.
4. The same needs to be done for the fields Title and Name Affix.
5. In the layout of the Review View select Title label. Now select the
Other_title text view in the properties of this text view delete
SelectedInfotype.Titel from the text property.
6. For Name Affix field, Select Name Affix in the layout of the
ReviewView. For the Name affix text view in the Outline window delete

How to back up and then purge personal information from iPad 2?

I want to take advantage of the trade in offer at Apple for the iPad. Before the trade in, I will back up my iPad2 to my iMac. I will also need to purge all personal information from the iPad2.
2 questions:
1. Once the iPad2 is backed up to the iMac, when I purchase the iPad air and sync it with the iMac - will all the apps, etc populate on the new iPad air or will I have to re-install everything?

Changing Personal Information

I cannot find what I am looking for in regards to changing my personal information in my account. The only thing I wanted to do was change my email address, but it REQUIRES that you enter and change your credit card data at the same time. This just isn't right. I rarely ever check the email address I started with as my login and now want it changed, but I don't want to give them any credit card information at this time (I had my card replaced so the current info is incorrect). I'd rather be able to delete the credit card on file, update my information and be done with it. I don't want to be forced into providing them with my credit card information. I don't buy from iTunes, I only use it to organize my existing music collection and sync with my iPod. Will Apple change this? Otherwise their emails are going into nowhere land and I can still use my account.

What happens when you "pretend" to change your credit card data, but enter the same old obsolete number?
Be slow, as the servers are sometimes slow too for these tasks. You might also have to try again later and see what was not working finally works this time.
Something else comes to mind: was there a particular problem with this old card, that could perhaps have put it on a "red list" somehow?
IMO, changing email indeed has nothing to do with credit card numbers...

Simply erasing and reinstalling is not adequate. As others have suggested, you should use Disk Utility to do a secure erase before reinstalling. You also need to do some other things, like making sure to deauthorize the machine in iTunes and include the original Mac OS X install disk that shipped with the machine. For all the details, see:
