Deleting photo's from I Tunes-is it possible

My I Phone has about 8GB of photos stored. Is it possible to delete photos on the I Phone from I Tunes vs. having to delete individually on the I Phone? Any help would be appreciated.

Are the the photos stored on your phone ones you have taken with the camera, or ones synched over from your computer?
If the first then you move them over when you synch and there is usually an option to delete the files in the synch.
If they are ones you have synched from your PC, connect the phone, go to the photos tab, tick synch photos (this may already be ticked) then choose where you synch the photos from - you are probably synching ALL photos from your computer so this is where you select the folders you want to synch to your iPhone (or not). If you do want some photos you need to create at least one folder with those pictures in and at your next synch only those pictures will go on to the phone.
If you do not want any pictures just untick the synch box and then synch and they will all be removed.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

When deleting photo's from the organiser, PSE asks if i only want te remove the file from the organizer catalogue, or as well from the disk. In fact, i always want to do that. Now, it takes 2 clicks to confirm to delete a photo, which is time-consuming.
is it possible to delete photo's from the organiser as well from the harddisk with one click? (or, just by clicking 'delete'.)

If your main issue is to delete rapidly hundreds of files from disk, there are better ways in the Organizer. Did you notice that deleting a single file from catalog and disk is slow ? Even deleting a dozen of selected files from disk (a single additional click) is slow. So, the best choice is to work in two steps. The first one is to select all the files to be deleted (a hundred, a thousand...) and mark them in some way : using the 'hide' feature, assigning a 'tobedeleted' tag (immediate even for dozens of selected files); then with all the files selected, delete from disk (and go drink a coffee...).
I won't discuss the obvious question that those last methods let you check all possible deletions before committing the undoable choice

if you are automatically synching photos from a folder, then all you do is add or remove the photos that you want on the ipod on that folder and the next time you sync the ipod those photos from the folder will replace the one's on the ipod. for example if the ipod has 10 photos and you want to remove 5 of them, you remove the photos from the folder you are synching from and resync ipod and then the ipod will reflect what is on that folder.
whatever source you are synching photos from the ipod mirrors the source.

No. Hook it up to any computer running iTunes. Make sure that you do not have any of the other tabs set up to sync, so that you do not overlay the info you have on your device for Music, Movies, etc., then go the the Music tab and un-check Sync Music. This should remove all sync'd music from your device. (this is presuming that the Mac you sync with does not have any photos you do want to sync with your device. If it does have any photos you want to sync, then instead of turning off the Music syncing altogether, you can just select what you do want to sync, and the sync will remove all other sync'd albums).

Ok, if that's the way it works that's the way it works. Atleast until you suggest a feature change and it gets reprogrammed. And an option (other than the SHOW DATE/SHOW TIME) is not necessary, just the time showing WHEN the channel info disappears.
I have also seen and heard what looks like RF interference. A small amount of line noise (a couple partial lines only) and crackling that does not happen all the time. Is it possible that some device or appliance in my house or the houses on either side of my home can cause RF interference with the FIOS equipment??
As for the issue with the guide, IMHO that sux! Basically you are telling me I am forced to pay an extra $8/month just to have the channel guide? Even with basic Cable (Time Warner) a guide was available! How about a guide channel like TWC

Those are photos that were synced to your phone from your computer using iTunes, and they can only be removed by syncing them off. Connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and uncheck the photos you want to remove, then click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone. If you want to remove them all, uncheck Sync Photos. If you only want to remove some of them, remove them from the folder that you are syncing your photos from.

Did you just remove it from the dock?
If so, then it is still in your applications folder.
If it is really deleted, then you need to get it back from your time machine back up if you have one or or from a OS install disk if you have one.

Photos in your camera roll can be deleted on your device: Select the photo>Tap the trash can, lower right.
Photos synced to your phone must be removed the same way they got there, through the iTunes sync process. You remove the checks next to the albums/folders, under the Photos tab, then hit Apply/Sync.

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/wesites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by removing them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing i.e. you cannot delete them directly on the iPad.

Are you asking about albums created in the "Photos.app" ?
In the Photos app, click edit, then click the red minus icon that appears.
For albums you created on your computer and synced to your device using iTunes:
These albums can only be deleted by syncing again with your computer and deselecting the album when syncing.
All other albums in iPhoto are created automatic as need be (Edited, Flagged, Favorites, Custom (tags), iTunes, Beamed, Photo Box); these albums will be deleted, when the photos inside are no longer present - the edits and tags removed.
