How do you delete pictures off of an video iPod, i have tried everything, but nothing will work. Please help me out thank you and God Bless.

do you want to just delete certain pictures? what i did with mine is made a separate itunes pictures folder on my computer and had itunes get the pictures to put on my ipod from there so when i wanted to take one off, you just go into the folder w/ windows explorer and delete whichever one you didnt want on there anymore. if you dont want pictures on there at all, then you can go to 'ipod' in the menu on the left of itunes, click on the 'photos' tab and uncheck 'sync all photos' and that should work. if you have any more questions ask, and i hoped that helped!

Thus must be a pure Mac-Finder/permissions problem.
In LR, as you corrctly assume, when you are in a folder (rather than a collection), you can hit the delete-key for any image, and you will get the dialog box asking for just removing from catalog or executing a physical deletion also in your operating system.
So I would continue any further troubleshooting in Mac Finder.
If Finder would not support the volume of the external hard disk (due to wrong formatting for Mac?), how can the image be read then?
If only deletion is denied, it might be a permissions problem.

How do I delete pics/videos from my iPhone 4 if it is not even able to do a restore/backup? A couple days ago I received an alert on my phone that said something like, "You cannot make or receive calls. Connect to iTunes to restore." I connected to iTunes and backed up the phone then started the restore. Before the restore could begin it ended the process and said, "Something is wrong with your iPhone please contact support, Apple Store etc". The Apple Store could not even complete a restore. I have since got a new iPhone but, I want to sell the old phone and I am afraid all my info/pics can be retrieved. Is there any other way to delete all of my pics, videos etc?

Deleting an app from the Usage area in the Settings app deletes the app from your iPhone. You can download the app again from the app store without having to pay again for it. be sure to back up your data first though.
another option is to do the iOS 8.1 update while your iPhone is connected to your computer. Start itunes on your computer, connect your phone, select the General area, backup the phone and then do the update. Doing the update this way requires much less free space on the phone because the update file will be downloaded to your computer and extracted there instead of on your iPhone.

Try resetting the iPod.
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be to sync with yur computer
After that would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

With iPhoto make sure you are viewing your photo library with "Photos" selected in the side bar. This should show you all your photos.
Then you simply select the photo you want to trash and on your keyboard hit the "delete" button.
This will move the photo into the "Trash" folder.
Now change your view by selecting the trash can icon in the side bar. This will show you all the photos in the trash bin.
Now, go up to the iPhoto menu and choose "Empty iPhoto Trash"

Huge mistake: deleted pics

Any help is appreciated...
New to Macs and I thought by deleting pics from finder, it would free some space on laptop.
Didn't work out.
In iPhoto, it still shows the thumbnail previews to everything, but when I double click on the picture, a huge ! is displayed. I did some of the remedies I've read in other post and nothing seems to work as of yet.
I was wondering if there's a program out there that can retrieve the photos, or do I have to re-load iworks and loose everything.

You need to a file recovery utility to recover the files you trashed from the Finder. File Salvage is one such.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
To delete photos from the iPhoto Library simply put them in the iPhoto trash and empty it.

If the pics were there when you last synced, then you may be able to restore from backup and get them back.
You should be importing al pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

By chance where your vault is located, do you also see 'Vault Deleted Image' folder?
