Deleting Playlists from Ipod that no longer exist on HD...Autosync is not a

I need to delete a few songs and playlists manually from the ipod. Turning on AUtosync is not an option. Is ther a way to manyally delete songs and playlists?

Select the iPod in the iTunes source list and then locate the songs and playlists you want to delete from it; when you've found them, select them and press the Delete key.

Apple IDs generally don't stop existing. If you mean that you have changed your email address, what you need to do is update your Apple ID to the new email.  Start here:

  • Deleting playlist from iPod?

    Hello,
I have deleted a myriad of playlists from my iPod mini/iTunes library so as to create more space for other songs I want to listen to. Unfortunately, my iPod still read full/maxed out. How does one update the iPod so that the deleted songs are gone and space is created for new songs?
    Thanks,
    Jordan

    Hi Jordan,
It sounds like a case where iTunes it not properly recognizing how much space is on your iPod.
With that kind of issue, I would suggest that you try restoring your iPod. See this article for details:

  • How do I delete an old CalDAV account from iPhone that no longer exists?

A few months ago I tried to set up synching between my work calendar (via a CalDAV account) on my work Macbook, my iPhone and my home iMac. I never could get the account to set up in iCal on my iMac but it worked fine on my work Macbook and my iPhone. But we eventually went to using Google Apps, so now I don't need it.
The problem is that despite having removed the account entirely on my work Macbook's iCal, the calendar remains on my iPhone and keeps notifying me of reminders that had been set up there. When I go into my iPhone's settings, into Mail, Calendars, etc., the calendar is not there anymore (because I removed it when we got rid of using it at work) so I can't delete it.
I thought maybe somehow it was still hanging around on my home iMac, despite never having been able to set it up to work, but it's not there, either. The only place it exists is when I open iCal on my iPhone, although there's no way for me to delete it and when the notifications pop up I can't edit them, either.
Am I just out of luck here and stuck with this rogue calendar? When I plug my iPhone into my home iMac, where it's set up to sync, it tells me that my calendars are being synched over the air, not through iTunes. But when I go into system settings on that computer and force it to resync calendars, it doesn't get rid of the old CalDAV account on my phone.
    Any ideas?? I'm stumped.

If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library).  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

  • Cannot delete playlists from iPod Video

When I connect mu iPod Video to my PC or laptop using Windows XP, my iTunes opens, my iPod is recognized yet I can't see any playlists anywhere in my iPod when connected to the computers. When I disconnect, I have 6 different playlists that I've created over time. I want to delete these as needed. They seem to be created from my "On The Go" playlist when I create one. How can I delete? I've read and followed instructions on the Help site. The biggest problem is that there are no playlists shown when I select iPod from the source list once connected. I can't try to delete if I can't see it.

To clear the entire On-the-Go playlist, on your IPOD go to Music>Playlist>On-the-Go>Clear Playlist
To remove an individual song in a On-the-Go playlist, select the song in the playlist, press and hold the center button until the song flashes.
    Hope that helps you!

  • Can remove agentless managed sql instances from machines that no longer exist

We have a couple of clustered sql servers that are no longer powered on.
They had several sql instances on them.
We are not able to remove the sql servers from SCOM 2012 SP1 because they have agent less managed devices (the sql instances)
We can remove the sql instances either so there is not way to remove these.   We also cant reassign the proxy agent.  It seems to do nothing.
    How can we remove these?
    Thanks Lance

You may use powershell cmdlet  Remove-SCOMDisabledClassInstance t remove cluster instance

  • Can't delete song from ipod touch that is not in my library

Can't delete song from ipod touch that is not in my library

Monty's solution will work if you have left the songs in one of your playlists. Another idea if that doesn't work is to check your iTunes list for that iPod. Check at the very bottom beneath the albums, artist,s and other content to add to your iPod, and be sure that you don't have individual songs selected to be added as well. If you do, eliminate them from that bottom list, and you should be fine.

Not sure what I've done. I recently downloaded newer version of itunes. Then when synching, I had too much music in my library for the ipod to handle so it told me about doing the smart playlist. I erased a couple of playlists on the itunes menu I no longer wanted and then when I went to synch, this error came up "songs on the ipod cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for updating no longer exist."

  • How to authorize songs from ITunes account that no longer exists

I have 26 songs in my iTunes library that I cannot play on my iMac and cannot synch with my 2nd gen Nano because they are not authorized for this computer. These files were purchased under an account that no longer exists, on a Windows computer I no longer own. I've long ago forgotten the password for that account and the e-mail account associated with that itunes account no longer exists.
So, how do I authorize my current iMac (running OS X, iTunes 10) to play and synch these songs?
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hello coastiechris,
    And welcome to Apple Discussions!
About your only option at this point is to contact iTunes support on this one. If you cannot remember the password, there are no other options. Sorry.

  • Error message: "playlists selected for updating no longer exist"

I tried to update my ipod nano and I guess I had deleted a playlist, but since then, I have not been able to update. Every time I try, I get the following message:
"Cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for updating no longer exist."
I haven't been able to highlight which playlists are selected to begin with.
I read through the manual and thought that maybe rebooting the whole system might work. So I deleted Itunes from my computer and re-installed.
Then I tried re-setting my ipod. So now I have nothing on my ipod.
I also deleted everything from my library, thinking it might help to start from scratch. Nothing has worked.
How do I "select" and "unselect" playlists so I can get up and running again?

    Here you go.

  • Songs cannot be synced: playlists selected for syncing no longer exist

"Songs on the ipod cannot be synced because all of the playlists selected for syncing no longer exist"
I finally filled all of the memory in my nano for the first time, and I got a popup to put all of my playlists in one file so it wouldn't take up as much space. When I saw it, I deleted it, I wasn't aware of what was going on. I tried to fix it by changing the settings to manually sync music but that didn't work. Then I restored my ipod and now it doesn't have any songs on it. So I tried to uninstall everything, itunes and ipod to restore the settings back to normal but that didn't work either. Everytime I connect my nano, all it says it can't sync because the playlists don't exist anymore. I don't know what to do anymore. Can someone help me?
    inspiron b130 laptop   Windows XP

But then it says it can't read or write to my nano.
is that the message discussed in the following document?
"Disk cannot be read from or written to" when syncing iPod or "Firmware update failure" error when updating or restoring iPod
