Deleting program from blackberry 9300

I have a blackberry curve 9300. I had a program called screen shot. It takes a screen shot from anything on the phone and saves the pics in a folder like the pics received from what's app are placed in a folder. Anyways, I deleted the program since it was trial version and it expired and i deleted the folder where it saves the pictures since I don't need them. This should b no problem but I kinda got worried after I did so. when I connect my bb to the computer and back it up, it will b normal? I mean it should be. But since I'm away without my laptop and can't try, I'm worried, although it is just a stupid program deleted and a pictures folder just for the pictures grabbed from the program!

It will be fine.

how do i delete programs from my MacBook Pro?

Most apps may be simply deleted to the trash; all have a small file in ~/library/preferences associated to it, e.g. company.com.name-of-app.plist, may or may not be deleted. Some apps have their uninstaller, if their creator is scrupulous (some are not), if they spread files all over the system.
There are apps targeted at deleting other apps, I have been using AppZapper, but there are some other free solutions, see other comments. Do NOT delete Apple apps, they belong to the system, even if installed later.

With a corrupt disk, the install procedure is most likely going to fail.
    How old it the disk?
You might be able to reformat it to fix the problem. Of course that means you lose all of your data.
The other alternative is to get a new disk drive and put that in your Mac and install OS X
Then put the old disk drive in an enclosure and see what can be recovered from it.

Thanks, uselesssabotage, but it isn't the app, it's the individual episodes I'm struggling with.  I've tried the usual as you describe, no dice.

    Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash.  Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder.  Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space.  If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application.  In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder.  You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder.  You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder.  Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item.  Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder.  Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences.  Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab.  Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS.  Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term.  Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default.  You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, EasyFind, instead.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The item generally has a ".pkg" extension.  Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are many utilities that can uninstall applications.  Here is a selection:

        2. AppDelete

  • Recovering deleted emails from blackberry

I accidently deleted some important emails from my "mailbox & handheld" by accident. Is there anywhere in the handheld to retrieve the deleted messages?

    Not easily.
    1. Do you have backup of the device that would contain those messages? If so, you can restore your message database to the BlackBerry.
    2. If you STOP right now using your BB and don't touch it again, you can find a BlackBerry forensics specialist which can take your device and possibly extract the information from it. There are only a few who do this, and it is very costly.

  • How do i delete programs from the powerbook g4

I've come into a powerbook from a pc history.  It's was my brother's, he used it for photography when he first got started.  There are multiple programs/apps that I have no use for and I want to remove them, hoping it will give me more speed.
Keep in mind I'm still learning Mac... struggling with the small but significant differences, keep that in mind when you respond.

    Hello
I am using OS X 10.9, but my screen shots should be the same as your OS X which I assume is 10.5 and below...
    1. Open the "Finder" app on the dock.
    2. Select "Applications" on the right side column
    3. Choose an app/program, for me I will choose to delete Open Office since I actually no longer use it, you can choose to delete whatever you want however I would strongly advise against deleting OS X app's like Calculator, or Safari! Drag the app you want gone to the trash.
    4. Choose "Empty" in the trash bin window, the app will be permanently gone from your hard disk.
I am not liable for any damage done to your hard disk, or computer.
    Good Luck!

  • Remove gmail from blackberry 9300

     Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to remove my gmail account from my BB?
I need a step by step instruction please
    Thanks, John
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    I'm answering my own question:
    To cancel gmail on blackberry:
    hit menu>
    settings>
    manage internet email>
    hit menu>
    delete>
    click yes
Next time you need to use gmail:
    hit menu>
    settings>
    manage internet email>
    sign in gmail
I think of this as a version of logging in and out of gmail....beating the system
and keeping people from reading your email...

If you're getting any error while downloading Facbook for BlackBerry application then what you're trying is not the correct way to ractify this issue. You should first delete facebook application completely and then reinstall it to resolve your issue.
So try those steps to download it again , but first delete any existing version of facebook application from Options > Device > Application Management > locate FACEBOOK application > Highlight it > Press the Menu Key > select Delete .
KB10040  :How to view or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone
After deleting Facebook application perform a Battery pull restart by removing the battery while your device is Powered On , wait for a min. then reinsert it back .
Finally , use your BlackBerry browser and browse to www.blackberry.com/facebook and download the most recent version available . Try it and let us know of your progress.

  • Recovering Deleted Photos from Blackberry Cure 8320

I have a Blackberry Curve 8320 with T-Mobile and I had took a few photos with my camera which I have deleted and I would like to recover them back.  Note:  The photos I took were saved to the phone itself, I was not using a memory stick.  When I connect my phone to my computer as mass storage, no files are in it.  What do I do?

You can TRY to use the free PC program Zero Assumption Recovery, and let it "look" at the device memory and see if it can recover any deleted files. I don't think it will, but it is really your only hope to try.
And if it doesn't, then they are gone.

trash can icon only shows next to content that was purchased on the appletv.
for synced content it won't be there, you would need to remove them from the appletv via itunes.

  • Trying to delete group from Blackberry Messenger

I am on a BES server.
I recently upgraded my BB Curve 8310 to the new 4.5.0.81 and since then i get the bug with it of resetting and getting the message that I switched devices.  That started the issue that I have.  What happened is I had my contacts in groups and then they went to pending it put on the groups and it would say GROUP (0/4).  That being said I cannot delete the groups as it says there are 4 people in it.  When in fact there is NONE showing.  When all the contact went back to non pending update and I removed everyone from the groups and deleted them there is one group left that still thinks there are contacts in it.  So I cannot remove the group.  Anyone have any suggestions.
    Things I have tried
    - Removing the battery
    - Wiping the handheld and readding to the BES Server
    - Deleteing all contacts and re adding
    No luck so far.

I have the same problem!!! Also, calendar entries are by default inserted in groups calendar.... It's horrible... I don't want (need) groups on messenger!!!
