Deleting "purchased" items

A while back I downloaded a free music album through itunes, but it wasn't until after I downloaded it that I realized that it was something that I didn't want at all. So I deleted it from my itunes. But the problem now is that every time I click to check purchases the album comes up again and begins downloading even though I don't even want them.
Is there some way to just delete it from my purchased list?

When it checks for purchased items, its just recognizing that you have a purchased item on your ipod that isn't on your computer. So when it asks if you want to sync that item back to your computer, just hit no. Then your ipod will sync with your library, that doesn't contain that tv show. After that it should be fine, it was for me anyway.

  • How to delete purchased items that have not yet downloaded

How do I delete purchased itune items that have not been downloaded.  When I first started using itunes to download movies I would recieve both hd and standard and I don't want both.....I want to delete all the hd ones.

Sorry, but you can't remove things already in the download queue. If you don't want the HD versions, just buy the standard-definition versions ("Buy Movie" rather than "Buy HD Movie"). As to movies already in the queue, it will be by far the easiest to just let them finish downloading.

  • Deleted Purchased Items folder?

It must have been a slip of the mouse, but the "Purchased Items" folder is missing from iTunes and I would really like it back but cannot find any such interface options.
    Thanks,
    William

The purchased playlist or folder is the same thing & was always located below the store in the source pane. Here's a step by step on how to do the smart playlist.
    1. On the top line, "Match ANY of the following", do not say Match all or that is one reason a list will not populate.
    2. Open the smart playlist, select "kind is", then in the first box type in protected AAC, click on the "+" icon to the right which will give you another dropdown, type in purchased AAC.
    3. Make sure you allow a high enough value in the items to box that the list will populate with all your purchases.
Also, on your next purchase from the store, the official purchased playlist will be recreated. At that point, you can drag this whole purchased smart playlist into the newly created purchased list & everything will be back in one place.

  • Delete purchased items

how do you delete items in the purchased folder I do not want? somehow some TV shows are in my account. I do not want them and it does not look like I paid for them. I am having touble downloading other content and would like to remove them from the download

If the show is in the Purchased Playlist that suggests it has actually been paid for so you probably don't want to delete it.
If it's in the Shopping Cart and you want to delete it from there, have a look at the Remove an item from your Shopping Cart section of this article in the Apple Knowledge Base.

  • Does Apple delete purchased items from our devices?

A song which I purchased last December has been removed from my MacBook Pro without my instigation or permission. When I tried to download it again I now must buy the entire album, which I don't want.  I suspect this deletion was done by Apple. I'm glad I still have the song on my iPhone, iPad and iPod, where it had been synched. What is Apple's policy about removing items which have been purchased from a user's library? I am very hesitant to make any future buys.
MacBook Pro always has the latest system (currently 10.9.4)
    iPhone IOS 7.1.2
    iPod IOS 1.1.3
    iPad IOS 7.1.2
The song was purchased on 12/9/13.

Where are you looking ? My account's purchase history (Store > View Account menu option) shows all of my purchases. If you mean in the Purchased link for redownloading then have you changed countries since buying the items ?

  • Deleted purchased item by mistake, can I download again?

Hi, I bought the entire series of Heroes, so basically they all download as soon as they are available. After some moves of my libraries, the file for the latest download looks as if it has been deleted....
...does anyone know if you can download (again) the files that you have already purchased? Seems like a no-brainer, but I don't know how to do it.
    Cheers,
    G

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on this link you'll be able to email your query: iTMS Customer Service
If you have an iPod that still has the purchases on it the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer

  • Delete Purchased Items in iCloud?

I purchased a lot of TV shows that I deleted off of my iPhone. It showed the cloud icon next to them and it was annoying me so I did the "hide videos" or whatever in settings. I want to know how to delete them permenantly in iTunes so it is like I never bought them. I've read different discussions on this saying you couldn't so this, but those pages were outdated and I was wondering if iOS 7 changed anything.

You can't delete them as they are not stored in your personal iCloud account.  Those are links to your purchased media in the iTunes store and cannot be deleted.  You can, however, hide them in iTunes as discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.

  • How do I permanently delete purchases?

I delete a purchased song from itunes and send it to recycle bin.  But the next time I sync, itunes automatically transfers it back to my library.  How do I permanently delete purchased items?  This problem seemed to start once I started using icloud.

Because people are stupid and "accidentally" delete stuff all the time that they did not intend to delete.

  • PURCHASE ORDER STATUS :When Deleting ALL ITEMS.

    Hi experts,
I need  to make purchase order status stay  " Release Compleated " when deleting all items.
Anyone Know How to do it?
Or anyone Know how to use BAPI_PO_CHANGE in BAdI : ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
In my project , I use Release Strategy of purchase orders, and there is a case of deleting all items.
In this situation, purchase order status returns to "Active " and release strategy tab disappears.
    This is our problem.
I need to make purchase order status stay  " Release Compleated " and prevent  release strategy tab disappearing.
I tried to update the fields EREKZ(final invoice) and ELIKZ(delivery completed) in
    BAdI : ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST  Method : PROCESS_ITEM using BAPI_PO_CHANGE according to SAP Note 456691.
But BAPI_PO_CHANGE couldn't update EREKZ because of our customize , and I couldn't find how to use
    BAPI_PO_CHANGE in the BAdI.
Anyone know solutions to solve this problem?
    Thanks a lot.

    TKD

    Hi,
please review the following information in SAP Note No. 456691 as
    copied below:
    18. Question:
When are the header conditions updated if a purchase order item is
    deleted?
    Answer:
If a purchase order item is deleted, the item is marked as 'statistical'
(field EKPO-STAPO = X) and the change is reflected in the header
    conditions.
However, if for the item the final invoice indicator(EKPO-EREKZ) or the
inward delivery completed indicator (EKPO-ELIKZ) is set, the item is not
marked as 'statistical' (EKPO-STAPO is not set) and thus the header
    conditions are not updated.
    I hope this helps you

It sounds like you might have broken links to your content. Either repair these by putting the files you've recovered where iTunes expects to find them or delete the broken entries then go to iTunes Store > Purchased > Music > Not on This Computer, and click the download links.
If you have an Apple device see also Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

While you can redownload most past purchases without charge, you can't redownload movies without paying again.  See Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

  • Deleting Purchase Order Line items

Is it possible when you delete a purchase order line item using ME22n to have the corresponding purchase requisition line item marked as closed or deleted?
Currently when we delete the PO line item we get the message that the "Requisition quantity XXXX open again" .  We have purchase requisitions converting to purchase orders via ME59N on a schedule batch job,  so the req gets converted to a PO again if it is not deleted quick enough.

    Hi Gary,
In MRP related PR to PO or without MRP also, whenever you convert a PR to PO and then delete an item from PO, the corresponding PR gets opened automatically - and its standard. This is logical also, because sometimes the person creating PR is different from the person creating PO. And If a PO item has been created synchronous to PR item, then its deletion must also be sysnchronous.
I hope this answers your querry.

No need to feel dumb. Usually an X means delete. In this strange case it just hides.

How can I completely delete an app, so it won't even be listed in the app store under purchased items? And I will stop being prompted to make updates even though I've removed it from my iPad?

Once an app is deleted from an iOs device, you will no longer be prompted for updates. Update alerts only occur for apps curently installed.
Purchases can be hidden (but not completely deleted) from the purchased list, but only using itunes on a computer.
