Guys,
1. I have an image;
2. I create an orange photofilter over the image;
3. I create an black&white layer over the photofilter;
4. I select an detail with my fast selection (the one in the same menu as the magic wand);
5. after i've made the selection i "used to" press the delete button so that the selected are gets deleted but now nothing happens!!! I've tried all kind of stuff but suddenly this crap is going on!!
Anyone who know's how i can reset everything to factory settings or something else??

One can trash the prefs by pressing command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift while starting Photoshop until the appropriate dialog appears (preferrably after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences one has changed).

Are you referring to the jingles?
They are available in different lengths; short, medium and long. They also may be available in .CAF and .AIFF formats.
If you are referring to your songs in iTunes, I have never seen that one before.

lock is there because of database situation. Only one operation (delete / read) can be done on database level in one moment on the same data. Therefore the lock is correct...
When deleting data from the cube - drop the indexex using the Delete Indexes (Now) button available in the performance tab of the cube - then your deletion will be faster.

    ENDLOOP.

Suppose if two records checkboxes are selected I can loop at the internal table IT_TIME_SHEET in webdynpro and delete where checkbox is selected.
But problem is once user deletes records, adobe is deleting only one record and if i delete two records from webdynpro it looks like something wrong for the user.
Please help me how to solve this problem.

although I am running my Web Dynpro ABAP in Swedish the "Select all / Delete selection" table options are displayed in English. Anyone who knows whether or not this is a bug or a known limitation ... or perhaps something that I can fix?

Delete Selected rows in ALV display

Hi everyone,
I have a requirement where in my output display, I will have 3 buttons, like Select all, Deselect all and Delete selected.
For Select all and Deselect all I am able to write code and they are working fine. But for Delete selected I am not getting
its actual functionality in the output.
Please help me in this and provide some part of code which can fulfill this.

I think the problem is smwhr else...Delete is a stanard functionality in the ALV Grid and would not fire your own code...
@Latha: I guess the row is getting deleted but your functionality is not working..If that is right then follow this approach:
When u delete a row it doesnot call your event handler and hence your code is not executed...You have to implement the toolbar event for this...In the toolbar event put a breakpoint and see the sy-ucomm for delete...you will then have to manually change this standard delete sy-ucomm to your custom sy-ucomm...
The code in the handle_toolbar method would be somthing like this
loop at mt-toolbar.
if sy-ucomm = standarad delete code
replace with your own custom code for exapmle 'DELETE'.
endif.
endloop.
Once you have done this then the Delete row would fire your own code for delete event...

How do you copy a selected area of multiple layers?

I'm trying to create an animated gif using PS and I can't find out how to copy multiple layers. Right now I have 110 different layers and I want to select the same portion of every layer and copy it into a new file without flattening the image. So I want to be able to start, and end with, 110 layers. The 110 different layers are all separate pictures of my desktop and I want to crop out most of the desktop to focus on one area in particular. Is there anyway to do this?

One could delete, select next layer, delete, select next layer … which should be Action-able.
Or duplicate the image and crop it to the intended size.
Or why not simply put the Layers into a Group and add a Layer Mask to that?

Phil, you are using the Remove method of MessageList. Since MessageList is only a snapshot of the messages in the
message DB, the messages won't get deleted from the DB. You can use the Item method of MessageList to get individual
messages and subsequently call Delete on the Message object. Hope this solves your problem.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you, but in email view why would you be selecting more messages without a purpose of doing a specific action with those selected messages? Each message you select "flags" it for whatever you do next (move or delete them). Simply do not select the messages that you don't want deleted.

    1.Same or More Comprehensive
    2.Overlapping
who can tell me what the exactly difference between these two options? the help of them is quict same.
   in my case, one infoPackage setting period: 1 ~ 8 and country is China. if another infoPackage with setting Period:8 and country is china. it should to delete data in old request with period 8 and country is china. right? but in here, I think both setting is work in this case. then, how was the different usage of this option.

1. Same or More comprehansive:
Lets say that you ran job yesterday with selection conditions Period: 8 and Country:China.
If you run a job again today with conditions Period: 1 to 8 and Country: China.
The second load is more comprehensive than the first one. Then it'll delete the yesterday load.
2. Overlapping: Lets say yesteday u ran a load with conditions Period: 1 - 8 and Country: China
Today u ran a job again with conditions Period: 3-9 and Country: China. This will delete the yesterday load. If you have selections like this, and if u select the first option "same or more comprehansive", your yesterday load is not deleted.
Is it clear now? Or give me the exact scenario how your loads going to be, i'll see if i can come up with an answer

How to crop selected area?

Is it possible to crop the selected area of a page, because now if i go to Tools>Pages>Crop it can only crop the area that is outside the selected area?

It might be the graphic driver not compitable with the graphic device. Has there been a change to the graphic driver?
One thing you can try is to uninstall graphic driver and download the latest from Windows Update (if you haven't tried this). Here are the possible steps:
1. Go to Control Panel->Hardware and Sound->Device Manager, uninstall the graphic card driver by right clicking and select "uninstall". Make sure the option "Delete the driver software for this device" is selected.
2. Reboot the system.
3. Go to Control Panel->System and Security->Windows Update, click on "Optional updates" and find the driver for g210 and do the update.

Selecting outside a selected area?

I select and area using the elliptical marquee tool and if I try to delete, it deletes the inside area. I used to know a keyboard shortcut to change the selection to outside the selected area so I would be left with what is in the elliptical area, but I have forgotten it. You are probably thinking of Inverse Selection: Shift + Ctrl + i (PC) / Shift + Cmd + i (MAC), that will invert the selection. Also available under the Select drop down menu.

I checked transaction VD06, indeed that it shows details for the sales area of a customer... but how can I delete the sales area data? There is a deletion flag for it? I tried to flagged it to deletion but when I tried to display it again through transaction XD03, it just give me the warning message 'Customer 20000702 is marked for deletion in the sales area selected' then it displayed the sales area...
I checked the KNVV table and the data still exists however the field for deletion flag is raised to 'X'.
I'm not sure if this is the proper way to delete a sales area. Can you please confirm?
