Deleting sessions from memory in cf server

I am trying to build an admin function that will allow an
administrator to be able to see any active user sessions in an
application and forcefully remove them if necessary. I have been
trying to get the code below working. Everything seems to work fine
until I try and delete the key from the structure.
Has anyone out there done this successfully? Is there
something that I am missing here?

I am trying to create a dashboard application that will work
within any in house cf applications and funciton in the following
manner.
1. Allow the application administrator to view users who are
logged in to app with a session.
2. Allow the administrator a method to forcefully remove (or
logout) user from application if necessary and clear memory on
server.
I realize that I can get the session collection at two
different levels using two different methods...
tracker.getSessionCollection(application.applicationName)
or
tracker.getSession(sessionid)
I am just having difficulty manipulating the values in the
structs or deleting them.
I see an additional method of cleanup() in the object
SessionTracker. Has anyone used this method?
Any snippets on how it works?

If all you did was delete them it should be relatively easy to recover them BUT don't use the card until you've done it. Even after a format it's fairly easy but not after re use because you write over them. For more help read the replies here.

You will need a card reader because I don't think it can be done in camera using the usb cable.

Delete emails from iPhone but NOT server ?

Hi all,
I have just upgraded to a iPhone 5C from a 4S.
On my 4s, when i deleted my emails from the Mail app, it kept them unread on my computer/ipad.
With my 5c, it deletes them from the server when deleting on the phone.
How do I have it so when I delete emails from my 5C, it keeps them UNREAD in my inbox on the computer?

You will need to set up the Hotmail account as a POP3 account instead of an IMAP account.

Remove or delete vi from memory

I am running a vi which will run ok the first time I run it but doesn't execute correctly subsequent times. If I close the vi (return to labview startup screen) and reopen it, then it works again. The vi in question uses labpython to run some python code. It is not possible for me to change this code, which is where the underlying bug must be located.
Is it possible to remove or delete a vi from memory similar to closing vi and returning to labview start screen? I know this isn't elegant and will be slow, but it seems my only option.
I am using Labview 2009 SP1

Problem solved.
I had an instance of the VI that I was trying to dynamically open hidden in a case structure, once removed it all works great.
I have attached a copy of vi for anybody else who may have similar issues.

Deleting data from memory

Hi,
I am using a Enhancement for my requirement. The enhancement
contains 2 Function exits., FE1 & FE2.
In FE2, I export data in 'ABC' to memory and In FE1 I import data in
memory to a variable 'XYZ' from memory.After importing,I delete the memory area.
Everything works fne till here.
But, suppose in a certain scenario after importing memory to variable 'XYZ' from memory,
before I delete the memory area due to some exception the program stops in the middle.
Now, again when I start the same process, I find my old data in the memory.
This is causing me a lot of headache. Agreed, I use a memory area, I need to delete it to make sure evrything runs smoothly in
future scenarios.
Right now am using database indexes as follows:--
export it to database indx(mm) id 'ZABC'.
import it from database indx(mm) id 'ZABC'.
delete from database indx(mm) id 'ZABC'.
Are there any means of using memory areas for storage of my data ,
so that when I start a new process the memory area which I used earlier should be freed by itself autmatically
and start afresh, even if I didnt delete the memory area earlier.

Hi,
You can use memory ids for storing variables or even internal tables. The syntax for that would be
export p1 = gt_mara to memory id 'ZABC'.
and import p1 = gt_mara from memory id 'ZABC'.
No need to declare p1 anywhere.
and when ur work is done.
free memory id 'ZABC' which will clear the value. ( free the memory )

Deleting messages from iPhone but not server

Since starting iCloud, it appears that if I delete an email on my iPhone, it also eliminates from the server. I would like to keep a copy that can be viewed on the iMac at home. How do I set this up?

That's how it's supposed to work, so that all devices are synced. If you don't want to delete mail you have read, move it to an archived folder. Alternatively, on your mac in mail, move it to an on my mac folder, this will retain it in mail, but move it off your phone.

You're using an IMAP account. Not sure if you can set up hotmail as a POP account.

Deleting games from memory card

I have three games saved on my memory card which do not work since having the phone sent back to be repaired, and I want to delete them, yet it wont work.
Any idea how I can do this?

Delete from memory card after import

I'm a fresh Lightroom newbie, and I am missing how to delete pictures from a memory card as I am importing them into Lightroom. This seems a glaringly obvious feature, so it must be hiding somewhere.
The only options I can see in the "Import Photos" dialog are
- Copy photos to a new location and import
- Copy photos as Digital Negative (DNG) and import
There doesn't seem to be an option to delete files after import, just various ways to eject the card.
I've found one way if I choose "Import Photos from Disk" while in Lightroom, there I have a Move option, but why not from device? Every other photo importer has this.

I personally had no problems in my years reading & immediately deleting files from memory cards. I had a few instances where I inadvertently deleted a fresh imported picture on the computer, I used undelete utilities on the card in these cases.
That said, I still think it would be a good feature. If the users want to do it (2 years of questions), just let them.

Is it possible to delete something from name reservation server?

Hello,
As part of an Activity I created a new Development Component and some new classes. When I realized I had made some mistakes in the classes I decided to revert the whole Activity.
The problem is that now when I try to recreate the activity I'm getting the message "The 'xxx' is already reserved on the name reservation server" where xxx is the name of the DC.
Is there some way to remove the DC from the name reservation server so that I can recreate it. I really don't want to give it a different name.

Hi David,
yes you can delete items from the name reservation server. Just log on to the SLD, go to name reservation/server...and there you can get a list of all DCs registered...just select the on you want to delete and remove it.

ComboBox delete from memory

Have got page where many times add/remove combobox. Unfortunately in cases when 'user':
1)add text to TextInput
2)'interact' with combobox
Profile is showing that instance of class ListCollectionViewCursor is not removed. But when there is no any of above interaction instance of class ListCollectionViewCursor is removed
Simple test :
1) when page loaded click 'remove combobox' - you will see that ListCollectionViewCursor is removed
2) when page loaded add some text to TextInput then click 'remove combobox' - you will see that ListCollectionViewCursor is not removed
What I am doing wrong?

Handle same delete command from 2 different sessions!

Dear All,
My database is 11gR2. I am in a situation where 2 applications are using the same database. There are times when the same delete command is issued from both applications that hangs the DB. None of the query is successfully executed.
I want to lock the rows so that the first query executes and while second waits and when first completes second query is executed, though it wont delete any records as records are delete from the first query. But there is no hanging situation. Should I lock the table before running the query? or i first select the records using for update?
Kindly help on this.

Actually my applications are the 2 radius servers that are again getting requests from BRAS server. BRAS issues a delete command to radius server 1, if radius server is busy and takes longer then 3 seconds to respond BRAS issues the same command to radius server 2. When the same command from 2 different servers executes on the DB there is kind of dead lock, when this situation happens I have to terminate session of any one radius server and then the other query gets executed.
I understand that Oracle takes care of this automatically but in my situation my DB is under tremendous load and sometimes I have to terminate sessions.
Its a simple delete command with some selection. I hope this helps a bit.
