Im sure many people have run into this issue. Its very important to me and impossible to do??? I hope not...
to clarify,.... if i wanted to delete a call from someone in my call list is it possible.
i do not want to delete the whole recent call list.

I know this has probably come up loads but does anyone know if apple are going to release an update to let us delete single calls?
I am seriously considering jailbreaking my iphone just to have this feature but i really dont want to do this so please someone help and take it up with apple.

Can someone advice me how can I delete single entry (call or sms) in log? I have Nokia E 51 and E 66 and it can be done, deleinge but all comunications. Doe anyone know how to do that, is there any short cut or it can be done by installing some software only, like Best private comuncations for example. Thank you in advance.

single entries cant be deleted they can from your initial call history but not from the log they can only be cleared all in one go

Delete single item form multiple populated list

Hi,
please help me to find a solution!!
I have 2 listboxes. listbox Description is populated by XML.
When user selects multiple items at the same time from the Description listbox, they are populated in the listbox and are removed from Description listbox. that works fine.
But the issue is if the user accidently selects one of the multiple selected items at the same time wrong and want to delete a single items, this doesnt work anymore.
I can not even click on each single item.
I try to find a way how to enable user to populate multiple items at the same time and be able to delete each single item, which then should return back to the Description listbox.
I would really appreciate if you could help me on this!!!

Would you not just reverse your code ..instead of populating listbox from the selections in description and deleting the items out of description, remove the items from listbox and update description then remove the items from listbox.
Or am I missing something?

Need to know how to program my phone to disconnect one caller during a conference all instead of me having to disconnect all callers to free up my other line.

Thanks I will try this, however some of my buttons are not active. I'm on verizon. I call, add a call and merge for my partner to speak, however there seems to be a delay for the 3rd voice to be heard. Also when I'm done and need to make another call with my partner in another state, he gets hung up on too. It's very frustrating and time consuming to keep having to call him back or him to call me back.

When in Dreamweaver, if you click to delete a file, a dialog box opens that tells you how many files ahve links to the files you are deleting. It gives a partial list, ending with <more...>; however, you cannot click the word more. How do you get a complete list?

There were many older threads which infers that there is no way other then issuing in a Batch of 100. I want to know the latest POR - Are there any plans to support this scenario in near future ?

Do you mean forward one number only? If that's what you want then no, you cannot. You can use call forwarding to forward all calls, but not selected contacts only. I'd add that would be a function of the carrier to, as when you activate call forwarding it sets the switch on your account with the carrier, and their hardware handles the call forwarding (i.e. the phone itself has nothing to do with actually forwarding calls or not - it is the carriers equipment that manages that - all the phone can do is tell the carriers system to forward calls, or not).

I'm sure it's been posted previously, but anyway, I'm looking to buy new Apple Loops libraries and I have faced the fact , that many of the sounds and loops produced by third parties manufacturers have been already included in Logic installation discs.
I have a list of Apple Loops DVD's that have been included with Logic somewhere, the problem is, Apple didn't post ( I believe) the credits of all 3rd party manufacturers that have produced these libraries that are included with Logic or Garage band. Is there any way to have a COMPLETE list of all samples and loops that are included with Apple DAW's so I wouldn't duplicate anything ? I'm pretty much positive that Apple had other companies to sound design and sample all libraries for them, so is there also a way to have a list of those manufacturers? Again, the objection is to start upgrading the sound library without any possible duplication?

Chris, I certainly don't mind additional questions and postings.
I believe there are many issues with Apple Loops and Logic that need to be resolved and people need to be aware of that. Unfortunately, in opposite to the old "german" version of Logic , there's no lifetime tech support, you can't even call and ask the question after 60 days , which isn't right for a professional software of this level, especially considering the fact that many things still remain vague in Logic even for developers and tech support people!( believe me, I've called and asked!)
Issues like that need to be resolved over the phone with the company, period!
One thing I also learned over the years as a Mac OSX user, if something doesn't work, don't mess with it. Delete your drive and re-install everything. This is very frustrating , I know, but unfortunately this is the only way to deal with OSX issues, if you got a problem with your system, don't try to fix it. It's never gonna be the same again. I know , it's off the topic a little bit, but if your content is missing from the system files, before installing your new Logic, back up your important files, wipe up your drive and clean install Mac OSX , run updates and then install the Logic. Most likely , everything will be in it's place, at least 90% or more. I gave up trying to make two system in my house to be compatible 100% , but it's OK if they're 90% or more identical. I spent enormous amount of time trying to find out what's missing and where, I visited most of the forums and there's no clean answer.

I use the object variable this instead of groove_1 as I am calling it from the function:
groove_1.onMouseDown = function(){
slider_1._x = this._xmouse + groove_1._x;;
I also add the groove_1 left hand offset (groove_1._x;)

My complete list of bookmarks (all folder and bookmarks)is repeated including the get bookmarks addon tab. What happened and how do I fix it? Do I need to go and edit the entire list back to single entries?

It is probably best to delete the places.sqlite file and restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup that doesn't have the duplicates.<br />
You may still find one in the bookmarkbackups folder.<br />
Firefox keeps 10 backups, one for each day you start Firefox.

Is there a way to delect one call instead of all my call. Like I can delet one text message or even clear the conversation, but all of my other text message will be there. Can I do the same with my call list if so how?

At this time, there is no way to delete just one call from the recents list. It's all or nothing.

Does anyone know a possibility to delete missed calls seperately? I only see the option to delete the whole missed calls list.
This would be very helpful to make already called-back numbers disappear.

Call History Management Improvements
Firmware release 8.0(3) supports several call history management improvements to give phone users more options for managing call logs. These improvements include:
Line associations for missed, placed, and received calls-Allows phone users to see which phone line a missed or received call was intended for, and which phone line was used to place an outgoing call. This option is relevant for users who have multiple phone lines.
Delete all records in a particular log-Allows phone users to delete all of the records in the displayed call log (Missed Calls, Placed Calls, or Received Calls).
Delete an individual call record-Allows phone users to delete the highlighted call record in any call log.
Call duration for placed and received calls-Allows phone users to see the call duration for the highlighted call record in the Placed and Received Calls logs.
User Tips
To use the new call history management features on your phone, do the following:
Step 1 Press the Directories button.
Step 2 Choose a call log (Missed, Placed, or Received).
Step 3 Highlight a call record.
Step 4 Choose one of the following softkeys to complete an action:
Clear-Deletes all of the call records in the displayed log.
Delete-Deletes only the highlighted call record.
Details-Displays details for the highlighted call record, including called number, calling number, time of day, and call duration (for placed and received calls).
Note To access some of these softkeys, you might need to press the more softkey first.
