Deleting tabs

I have a list of tabs in my Firefox browser on an IdeaTab2109 running Android 4. I think they are there from when I first set up the tablet and was suffering from finger trouble. How do I delete them? Clearing Private Data has no effect

Hello ThomasEH,
Deleting tabs is as easy as:
#To view your tabs in Firefox for Android, just tap the tab in the upper-right to see a drop-down of tabs with thumbnail images.
#Tap the X next to the thumbnail to close a tab.
Please let us know if this solves your issue.
Cheers, Patrick

  • Where is the "DELETE" tab in Edit User in Portal?

    Hi,
    Portal version 3.08 on solaris. I logged on as Portal30. Go to Login Server, Administer User, Edit a user, and I saw a DELETE tab for that user. I can delete a user there.
    However, if I go to Edit user under the Create user portlet. I chose a user to edit,
    but I don't see a "DELETE" tab, I only see tabs like: "Reset to Defaults", "Apply", "OK", "CANCEL".
    Why?
    In portal 3.0.7, NT, I can see the "DELETE" tab in both places. Is this a change for 3.0.8?
    Thanks;
    Kelly.

    I check this in Portal308, deleting user from login server is not equal to delete from portal. In PORTAL30.WWSEC_PERSON$ table still remain personal details of deleted user.
    Is it bug or right functionality?
    For me it is some kind of bug. When you re-create user in sso server it tooks over all pers. data from old user.
    Thanks for any answers

  • Every time I press the delete tab in Safari it either returns to my previous web page or crashes? Drivinh me nuts!

    Every time I press the delete tab in Safari it either returns to my previous web page or crashes?

    Launch the Console application by entering the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. If that doesn’t work, then in the Finder, press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    Look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash logs related to Safari, WebProcess, or PluginProcess. Select the most recent one of each and post the contents -- the text, please, not a screenshot. For privacy’s sake, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.)

  • How to delete tabs not 'open'

    on FF 27 a small gray x appears on each tab and this can be used to delete the tab even when it is not 'open' (when another tab is open in the window)
    it seems that on FF 29 the delete tab 'x' now appears only on the open tab - this means when you have a lot of tabs you want to delete (not all in that window) you have to open each tab and then delete it :-(
    am i missing something? is there a way to delete tabs that aren't open or config the ubiquitous 'x' back onto all tabs?

    well the-edmeister wins the prize (middle click it is), but :-) ..... i have a mac w/ magic mouse (and no 'middle click') :-(
    so, while there are other apps/tricks to have 'middle click', I used this as a reason to download and use MagicPrefs, to get this preference-able function (and so many more)
    [it does seem this is a slight variation in behavior across versions - FF29 will show the delete x on all tabs, it there are a limited number of tabs, but while my FF27 maintains the visible 'x's with my normal 'many' tabs, it seems FF29 has different behavior
    and yes i have a tab addiction (right now 5 windows with 4,16,19,18,29 tabs)

    You have to tap the tab to bring it to the front and then tap on the X. If you are doing that and it's not working, explain what is happening.

    Your redemption code was used to acquire an activation code.  The activation code is what you need to use when you want to reinstall/enable the software again.  Check your Adobe account online to see if the number(s) can be found there.

  • How can I delete tab indents created in Pages 08

    How can I delete tab indents created in Pages 08.  I have a 200 page document with tab indents.  I need to delete all the tab indents.

    Not sure how it used to be in Pages '08 but in Pages '09 you click on the Advanced button and get a menu to choose invisible characters.
    The best solution anyway is to simply drag over the return tab in the document and Copy/Paste that in the Find field and again in the Replace, deleting once to get rid of the tab.

  • I have synced pix from my laptop. Some appear multiple times and others I want to delete. In pictures when I tap edit the "delete" tab is red and I can't delete any pix. How do I fix this?

    How do I delete pix. In the edit mode the "delete" tab is red and I can't delete any pix.

    If the delete tab is red after you tap the edit button, then you have to select the pictures that you want to delete by tapping on them. A blue check mark will appear in the lower right corner of the photo indicating that it has been selected. The Delete button should then turn bright red after you make your selections. Tap the delete button and that should remove the photos. This will work for photos in the camera roll or the photo stream.
    Photos that you synced to your iPad must be removed by "unsyncing" them using iTunes on your computer. Deselect the albums in the photos tab of iTunes and follow that with a sync to remove them.

  • How do I Delete Tabs that I made in FireFox 4 (Not AP Tabs) but Regular TABS? I am in TEARS. Plz HELP!

    I love Fire Fox. I Downloaded the latest version: Fire Fox (4). I went crazy adding Tabs to the top of my Browser (Like 20 different Tabs). If was a huge mistake... and now it is so slow... and crashes constantly. I should have stuck with Book Marks instead... or only a few Tabs... like 2 or 3. Now I want to Delete the Tabs I made... but can not figure out how. It should be as easy as Right Click... Delete Tab... or as easy as creating Tabs was... but it is not. Please Help. Mm69

    For some reason, Firefox is not forgetting the tabs that you close. This could be a problem with the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionrestore.js] file maintained by Firefox. <BR><BR>Following steps would enable you to delete this file so that Firefox forgets about your open tabs and just opens your home page when you launch Firefox the next time:<BR><BR>
    # Locate your Profile folder. See instructions in this article: [[Profiles#w_how-do-i-find-my-profile]]
    # Quit Firefox by clicking on '''File''' menu and then '''Exit'''.
    # In your Profile folder, delete files with names ''sessionstore.js'', ''sessionstore.bak'', ''sessionstore-1.js'', ''sessionstore-2.js'' etc.
    # Launch Firefox again.
    <BR>
    Let us know if this resolves your problem.

  • Dynamically Adding/Editing/Deleting Tabs on Tabbed Panels

    I am using the tabbed panels and need to know how to
    dynamically create a new tab with javascript with some content
    inside ( and switch to it ). Also, I need to figure out how I can
    delete tabs at "runtime"? I have tried many things to do this, but
    everytime, it has been failing. I need a functions just like this:
    addTab(title, innerHTMLcontent);
    deleteTab(currIndex);
    Also, I think all of the Spry Widgets should have an easy way
    to dynamically change content.

    Hi,
    here is the js file. I am also attaching a sample (I named it
    as Spry.Widget.ExtendedTabbedPanels, may be you could change it).

  • Delete tab character

    How do I delete tab characters wrongly inserted throughout my document?

    First thing to do : trigger the item allowing so calle « hidden » characters to be displayed.
    Here, the item was triggered once so the characters are displayed and the item became « Hide hidden characters »
    Like many others, this feature is well described in the free Pages User Guide available thru the help menu.

  • What is the easiest way to permanently delete tabs so that they don't come back

    No matter what I do I can't permanently delete tabs. I will close them all and the next time I open Firefox they are still there.

    It is also possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

    If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
    Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).
