Deleting timestamps on websites
I have cleared my recent history multiple times and the timestamp is still on my visited websites. I would really love to delete the timestamps permanently. Any advice would be welcome!

Yes I am using BST. I thought at first that my hardware clock might not be using BST and was being read at boot-time - but I have checked and it is set to BST. I agree that there does not seem to be any problem as a result of this behaviour, but I am really puzzled as to where the kernel is getting its time from.

Unable to find the timestamp in SPRO-"delete timestamp for infosource"
in system BIT.
issue: unable to find the timestamp in SPRO-"delete timestamp for infosource" in ECQ, for a load which i did in BIQ and getting error that init was already done but request was deleted from target.
for cube 0CFM_C10, i did init load from 0CFM_POSITIONS flow , was fine
next init load from flow 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS, some issue,
got messaget that init was already done but request was deleted from target.
so i deleted req from infopkg-scheduler-init options for src system - here deleted the req.
did load got same error again.
next in ECQ, SPRO- "delete timestamp for infosource", for this option when i search, i am getting msg that "0 timestamps deleted for infosource".
why is that i am unable to find the timestamp here in SPRO in ECQ? any other solution ?

did the load ,
init load via 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS flow, successful : so that error got solved.
delta load via 0CFM_DELTA_POSITIONS flow, getting another new error and message below

I made a website, but have now deleted it in order to take it down. However, after deleting it, the website is still online? Can anyone help me figure out how to remove the site completely?
The site is joehewett.uk and I am worried that now I do not have the files of the website I cannot remove it?
James.Did you delete the files from your Remote server?
Deleting the local site folder or the site definition in DW will have no effect on your remote site.
When I go to your URL, I see the index.html page with 16 code errors and this background image:

So the site is still online until you delete those files from your server.

why is safari 7 deleting my bookmarked websites? I keep adding them in and they go to my favorites bar, but once the window closes, more often than not the bookmark is gone from the favorites bar.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Does the dialog show "You can read and write" in the Sharing & Permissions section?
In the General section, is the box labeled Locked checked?
What is the Modified date?
If you don't have read and write access to the item, change the settings as directed here. Note, however, that if one file has wrong access settings, most likely others do as well. If the item is locked, unlock it.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Open a TextEdit window and paste into it (command-V). Select the line you just pasted and continue as above. -

when i go to a site for example paypal it will appear in my browser history so if i want to back i can just click on the down arrow and go there well my ? is how do i delete or erase websites from the browser history that i do not want on there?
You can delete any single entry, or you can customise what you clear including all the History or just '''forget'''ting about one site.
Possibly you need the forget option. That removes all the info about a particular site but does not stop you saving info in the future. Another useful option sometimes is Private Browsing: that stops information being stored in the first place.

No way to delete history without deleting cookies and website data
Unless I'm missing it, there's no way to delete browsing history without also deleting cookies and website data. Apple, please give us a separate option to delete only the history!

My iPad 3rd Gen running iOS 7. It is connected to Microsoft Live email, and I have it syncing 30 days of messages. I frequently use the outlook.com website to read and delete messages. When I look at my iPad inbox, the messages remain even though I have already deleted them in the website. This behaviour persists whether I am on Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Do I have a configuration set incorrectly, or is this a known issue with MS Live?My experience is with hotmail not live mail, but might be something to look into. I had to go into the options of my hotmail and enable the ability for the device to update mail. Prior to that, I'd have to delete the same mail off my iPod and iPad, but after I enabled that I could delete off my iPod and have that reflected on my iPad.
So maybe poke around in the settings for live mail and see if there's a setting to allow your devices to delete from the server. -

Depends where you published it? If you published to MobileMe, then you need to log into your account and go and delete your site directly from your iDisk.

How do you permantly delete old business catalyst websites.
I've been trying to permantly delete all these old business catalyst sites that keep showing up in the side bar that says "Websites" and u can "View" or "Manage" them. But every time i try to manage them they just go to a blank page worldsecureserver.net or something. I am not computer savvy. I don't want to clear all my history, just one specific site. I deleted it, its cookies, passwords and everything and when I type the first letter of the website in, it shows up as one of the options for websites. I need to delete it, but how?

It's possible the website is in your bookmarks and when you type in some letters in the Location Bar that match that bookmark, it is coming up from there. How can I not delete my Favorites Website Data in FF 4?

In IE 8 there is a provision under Tools -> Delete Browsing History to Preserve Favorites Website Data, like CNN and MSNBC settings, etc.
I don't see how I can do this in FF 4.
I tried leaving the Site Preferences box unchecked, to no avail. All of my personal website settings are deleted anyway.

Issue deleting websites on newly purchased Ipad 4
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased an iPad 4. While browsing the web using Safari, I noticed that the Newegg website was showing as a website recently visited. It had a web address link to it.. The odd thing was, I had never visited the website from the iPad. It also had a link to a part of the website that I had viewed on my iPhone for a specific product. However, this was days before I had even turned on the iPad (wasn't sure if it somehow linked up). I have already cleared the Internet history and cookies under the settings for Safari. However, this has not worked at removing the website. Has anyone ever had this issue on a newly purchased iPad? I just find it very strange that I cannot delete the Newegg website links. I find it even stranger that it has these links to Newegg when I have never visited the website on the iPad. Any thoughts? Please let me know if any additional information is required. Part of my concern is that I could be using a used Apple iPad or that it could be hacked, even though I purchased it from Best Buy. Thanks for all your help!It might be sharing a web history with your other Safari browsing devices (MacBook/iPhone/iPod) and if it is, you may be viewing a page that you originally pulled up on lets say your iPhone. If you did, you cannot delete a iPhone browsed page with an iPad connected to the same account. You would need to pull up the browser history on your iPhone and delete the selected pages. Not sure if this will even help, but I figured it's worth a whirl

I delete websites I visit in "History" line by line, and I save the ones I find valuable for viewing in the future. Last week I visited a new website and checked out a few articles. A few days later I was deleting that day's line items I did not want to revisit. This particular website would not let me delete any of it's line items, no matter what. It was Just this website. Never have I encountered this problem. I had to go into Firefox and delete this particular website under "Forget this Site." Any answer as to why?

I usually just highlight websites under a specific day of "history" and hit the delete button on my keyboard. Gone.
When that didn't work for the one website, I tried right clicking that line, and a variety of other things. The specific website just would not go away. I just did not want to delete 7 days of history at one swipe of the delete key. Finally I went out to Firefox's 'Getting Started,' and in the left column was 'Privacy & Security Settings.' There is a section under Privacy & Security Settings called Delete Browsing Search and Download History. I read those items to see if there was something I was missing. One was called "How do I remove a single website from my history?" Followed instructions and just that website popped up. Highlighted those items from that site and deleted. Gone. Still do not know why the website would not delete in the first place. Makes a paranoid more paranoid about websites watching you.
