Deleting Yahoo! emails multiple times ios7

Since "upgrading" to ios7, I have had to constantly delete emails in my Yahoo account more than once. I'll delete the email and then it'll pop up again. Sometimes, I have to delete them two or three times.  Anyone have any ideas? I also have a school email account via Exchange on my phone but that does not have an issue.

       I am sorry to hear that you are having troubles with the site while using the preferred browser. Please run IE without add ons to see if it's an add on causing the conflict. Have you tried using other computers with IE to see if the same thing is happening?

    I presume since you posted here that you have a TC running backups with Time Machine???
    Otherwise no I doubt you can recover it. Once deleted from trash it is likely overwritten on the disk if you used it at all.
    Look at recovery of particular emails here.
    Edit this is apple mail.. I have no idea what client you are talking about for yahoo mail.. if it is web mail and trashed.. and not in a trash box then it is likely gone. It depends on settings on the local computer.. if you are downloading mail or simply using it via the yahoo mail page..
    I would recommend you contact yahoo or google for their mail server info and how to recover. Assuming you are using web mail.. as there is actually nothing locally you can do to recover it.

  • Must delete emails multiple times before it sticks!

    I used to have the Iphone 4, and i added my school email account to it and it worked fine. I upgraded to iphone 5 with the new IOS 7, and now that account only will not allow me to delete my emails with one swipe. I swipe and delete 3 or 4 emails and then they just pop right back up! It takes several times before it sticks. Why is that?
    I do not have the this school account on my computer, and i've even tried deleting the account and reentering the information just in case things got mixed up in the shift over to my new phone.
    Any suggestions?

    I guess it's time to switch to GMail.

    Right click should give the option to "Delete all Backups of [file or folder name]".
    If it doesn't, check the permissions of the folder on your HD.

  • Trouble Deleting Yahoo emails

    I frequently get the following error when deleting emails form my Macbook using the mail application:
    The IMAP command “UID COPY” (to Deleted Messages) failed for the mailbox “INBOX” with server error: UID COPY Server internal error.
    This only happens with my Yahoo mail account.
    Any ideas.   Eventually, I retry and the messages delete.  Kinda annoying, as there is so much junk mail one needs to delete these days.

    Yahoo email is web based.  Which browser & version are you using?  Have you contacted Yahoo email tech support?  If not, why not? 

  • Gmail sending each email multiple times!

    I have a BB tour (verizon) and have had Gmail set up for ages without problems. All of a sudden about 3-4 days ago (~5/19 or so) I started having issues. Basically what happens is this:
    1) When I delete emails on my phone they stay as "unread" on my gmail inbox (they used to stay in the inbox as "read")
    2) Every time I get a new email, all previous emails get re-delivered. For example, if I get an "email1" on gmail, it gets sent to my phone as expected. But when I get email2, I also get a second copy of email1. When I get email3, I also get a third copy of email1 and a second copy of email2. And so forth.
    So at the end of the day I have a couple dozen copies of each email!!! (if I get 20 emails, I'll have 20 copies of email1, 19 copies of email2, 18 copies of email3, etc etc etc)
    3) When I try to delete the 20 copies of email1, it will only delete 1-2 copies but not the rest. Even if I manage to erase all 20, it will get re-delivered with any new emails. This will only stop if I log on to gmail in my computer and delete all emails.
    I have tried: erasing all emails from my gmail box on my phone, deleting each message individually from my messages box in my phone, changing my sync options (mailbox wins vs phone wins vs disabling sync vs re-enabling it), disabling and re-enabling IMAP on gmail, resetting my phone, resending the service books, etc, and nothing works!!
    The only thing left is to delete my gmail account from my phone. The problem is I have hundreds of calendar appointments and if I delete gmail they will get turned into "default" calendar account, and when I re-add gmail I will have duplicates of all my appointments for the rest of the year (it has happened before).
    PLEASE HELP!!!

    This has been happening with my girlfriend's gmail account lately and we can't seem to find a fix for it.  It only started a few days ago, but it is very irritating.

    What type of email account are you using?
    Does this issue happen to recipients or a certain one?
    Since it takes too much time to disappear from the Outbox, this issue may happen if the send/receive interval is set to a very short period. To fix the issue, you'll need to set the send/receive interval to a longer period than it takes to disappear from
    the Outbox.
    As for the email being stuck in Outbox for a long time issue, please make sure there is no internet connection issue when sending the email message. We can also try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel > Mail and then reconfigure your email account
    to see if it will help.

    I am getting emails multiple times and they aren't deleting.  They keep coming back.  I then get a server errer that mail.me may be a false server pretending to be mail.me.  Don't know how to fix this.

  • Not getting Yahoo emails on Q5 except for a specific time span

    My Q5 started to have this issue started about 4, 5 days ago. I dont get any Yahoo emails except for an approx 5 hr time span at specific times of the day.  All other times I do not get any emails at all, not even when pressing the "refresh" icon.  
    I have deleted / rebooted/re-added the yahoo account multiple times without any improvement. I have also tested for improvement by taking away the "rim." in the settings (IMAP and SMPT), no help.
     Well, right after re-adding the acct, the missing emails showed up, but that was it.  It doesn't update my emails until that specific time of the day (for me that time span is from midnight to ~5am).  I'm able to send out email fine.  
    Anyone has any suggestions?

    The password disappeared again, so I changed the password as you suggested.
    I discovered that Yahoo had changed the password requirements, and that was likely causing the problem.
    (I wish the error message had been more specific so I would have known that was the issue earlier).
    I created a new password according to the new Yahoo password requirements, and I have not had any other problems with it so far.

    It was not me it was user cb_ca and the above is what they posted. You can ask that user your question, just click the envelope icon on the middle of the page near the top and you can send them a message, just enter the users name mentioned above and type your message.

  • Sent emails sending multiple times

    After one week my new iPad is resending "sent" emails multiple times. They continue to be in my outbox as not sent. This isn't for every one. I am using a pop 3 account through Exchange and a Gmail account. I have deleted and reentered the accounts per apple tech to no avail. The only way to stop the constant resending is to edit my outbox and delete all of them. Any ideas? I have one day to return my iPad! I am on wifi not cellular yet.
